It is true that most hotel staff don't care in the least. However, do what you all feel comfortable with. Some who don't like prying eyes will find a place with an outside entrance. If that would help you all feel better go that route. If you all are the least bit uneasy about the set up that can affect the mood and put a damper on things. As already suggested, we always met singles or couples at a side door and walked up to the room with them. If these are all men you know then you shouldn't have any issues with walking down to meet someone while someone else is there with your wife. It is always best with a bang to have at least one guy that you know well who can help you watch the others if this is going to be the first time you all meet them. There are some guys that will do some things you may not expect. Be sure to have good ground rules established that fit you all. An issue that happens frequently is that many don't shift to a 3 some position when one of them is close to finishing so that the next can make a smooth transition without a break in the action.
