One of the biggest surprises for me initially was how many people required bareback playing conditions.

Though I insist on condom use, I don’t knock others who don’t. Nevertheless, I will admit that I was really caught off guard by the high number of couples/singles who would not consider playing if condoms were used.

While it's true that most don't fit length wise and that girth really isn't a problem, i also don't enjoy the feeling of being wrapped up. It just doesn't feel right by me. That's a given regardless of how well they fit, but the issue started off as the large aren't "long" enough and "girth was not an issue.

Condom length wouldn't be a significant issue for preventing pregnancy, which sounded like the main concern. Considering the other thread was about a bareback gang bang for the Mrs, it didn't sound like protection was the primary concern either. Just saying ;-)

In other words, it has absolutely nothing to do with size, bareback just feels better.

I guess the best way to describe it is that they deprive me of the full sensation. So, i should reword my statement to say that they not so much uncomfortable as they are unenjoyable.

MTN, you said girth was not an issue so not understanding why a large or XL would be uncomfortable. As mentioned, the size mainly refers to a difference in the girth of condoms, not the length.

Don't get us wrong, we still use them and do exactly as you said. Stretch them and make them fit. They just tend to get uncomfortable. Kind of like a shoe that's half a size too small.

We currently us magnum XL's at our local club because they are provided by the club. When we get our own, we use durex XXL. We need to special order those because we haven't found any place local that carries them. Girth isn't the problem because he's average girth, the problem is the length. We use them with others for pregnancy prevention and to reduce the risk of STI's. You can never be too careful.

re:large condoms

As far as I know, the Large and XL are more for girth than length. I use the Skyn Large and they work better than most and are latex free.

MTN: Is there are concern regarding the length? Based on a prior thread where bareback play was mentioned, I'd suspect these would be more for unwanted pregnancy when hubby is playing with others. if so, it does not need to go to the base to do that.

For men who do fuck a lot with condoms, use lube on your cock before putting on the condom. One of the problems from fucking all the time with condoms over the years is the friction on the cock from the condom crates skin tags. easy to freeze off but a pain. Lube helps prevent this.

He could always cut the end out of one and slide it all the way down, then put the top one on and unroll it over the first one. This would create an overlap like an expansion joint. Since condoms are so tight on him, there should be a good seal between then held in by pressure.
