We are are your hosts northern guy and southern girl in today's episode we're gonna be talking about a about a recent lifestyle trip well kind of recent well yeah it's been a little bit now it's been a month now yeah uh to splash houston yeah i feel like we are a little bit behind in getting some of these out we We normally space out our events like once a month. But unfortunately, well, is it unfortunate or fortunate?
I don't know. It depends on who you ask. But a lot of ours were like back to back to back. Yeah, we did three weekends in a row. Well, not quite in a row. But either way, they're still really close together. Yeah. So when we don't like to drop like event story on our podcast, like back to back, back. Yeah. So we try to mix in. So we had a couple other episodes we mixed in there. So that pushed back the event. Yeah. Yeah. That's OK. We're going to do this one.
And then next week you'll have the Grove and we'll be all caught up. And then by the time we get done with all that, it'll probably be secrets time. Back to your regularly scheduled program.
Regular program yeah uh okay so let's talk all things splash houston yeah okay so it was a four-day event right it was so it's thursday through sunday typically we like to go in a day early because we're usually involved in some capacity it works better for us to already be there when people start arriving because there's just so much going on like the first day of any event is always crazy because everyone's getting there and everybody's running around um but this time we couldn't do that it was the first week of school here um and to be honest with you we weren't we had originally told them that we would not go because it being the first week of school um but after some begging did they beg i don't know i shouldn't say begging but they were strongly encouraged strongly encouraged they really wanted us to go and Life of Spice was going.
And so we finally I was like, OK, we can go, but we're going to have to fly in because I knew if we drove, that's like an entire day of driving. And I wanted to be home for that first day of school and then we could leave after.
So anyway, just took a little bit of work on our end um I'm pretty particular when it comes to stuff like that like leaving on important days so we just had to make it work somehow and we did we figured out a way to make it work and a side note to that is um I think the splash us and splash have you know kind of partnered here in the I don't know, six months or so on a lot of things. And I can't say enough about how, I guess, happy I am with that partnership.
You know, there's lots of people in this lifestyle space throwing events and doing things. I think the Splash, the Splash brand, and then, you know, Cassidy, who is strong supporters of them, they're just all good people. They good people trying to do the right thing and just bring quality events to the community. They're super well organized. It's very safe. It's very clean.
So if you are somebody who's wanting to get in the lifestyle and maybe you want to go to your first hotel takeover, I highly recommend Splash. I think you're going to have a great time.
And I've seen in discord there was a couple people asking if splash atlanta next year would be a good first event several people said yes and i totally agree i feel like splash houston was a little calmer so if you're worried about a lot of people a lot going on maybe do a houston i'm we've never been to fort lauderdale um we're missing it because our our secrets event happens to fall at the same weekend but going forward we will make sure that doesn't happen but they're awesome awesome people well and they care it's not you know it's not it's not a gimmick it's not a hook it's not a to try to get people to come like the people behind the scenes we we know most of them now personally, they're all really good people that really care about the lifestyle, care about the lifestyle community, the people, and they, you know, they go above and beyond and probably spend, you know, more money than they have to, to make sure that the people there have a good experience.
And that means something to me, you know what I mean? And I think that's the kind of businesses that we support, you know? Yeah. All right.
All all right so with that um let's get into what happened so like lacy was saying it was a school week for us so we couldn't go in on thursday um but after some convincing we're like all right we're gonna come out we'll support you guys um but we can only do friday saturday no we actually flew in thursday night right yeah so what we did was after so we had the first day of school and then thursday we did the whole drop off thing.
And then we, we got in the car, we flew, um, four, was after so we had the first day of school and then thursday we did the whole drop off thing and then we we got in the car we flew um from nashville straight in to um houston this was we did a united flight we never fly united we always fly american typically sometimes delta but i'd gotten a really good like straight flight into houston yeah real easy yeah no problem that was the plan um it ended up we got on the plane and then there was just like one problem after another like i don't even remember exactly like something was wrong or there was weather and we had to sit on the runway on the runway for like an hour which i didn't care because i was asleep and i took a nap um so we ended up getting to houston later than we were supposed to like an hour and a half like a substantial amount of time right now normally that wouldn't matter because honestly we you know our plans with splash was we were pretty much not really doing anything until friday anyway but because we try to squeeze everything we possibly can into these trips we've been trying to get to john and jackie studio which just happens to be in houston to sit down with them and actually record a video slash podcast if you don't know that john and jackie melfi they are the owner of collect clubs they um do the open love podcast there are just pillars in our community and we very much look up to them so again another reason why going to houston was super important so they had scheduled some time for us to record the podcast basically as soon as we got into houston so that way we could be available through the weekend and as every little thing kept happening the chances of us making it to john and jackie's were like getting slimmer and slimmer so our flight's an hour and a half late then they have lost dan's luggage and you're fit to be tied yeah once we got there um lacy's luggage had made it and our pool games made it yeah um but dan's luggage was not was not to be found yeah and you wanted to leave and have them deliver it to the hotel and i was hoping to still make john and jackie's i think was my plan was like okay well that's fine we don't let's not worry about the luggage let's go get to the studio get that recorded and then maybe we can come back to the airport and pick up our luggage you know maybe we'll be here by then um but basically what you had said is well let me just wait because what the people were telling us it was on the next flight we put it on the next flight which was only like 45 minutes or so behind i think even less than that by this point you know it was the next it was literally like within 30 minutes so i was like go get the rental car, go and then i'll sit here and wait on your luggage and if it comes then great if it doesn't come then we will just go so you go over to the um yeah so the rental car at the houston airport where i think we were in the george bush airport i don't know how many airports are in houston but that's when we were in you have to leave the the gateway the airport and they take you on a by bus to this rental car place you know yeah like a station station yeah it's on the property it's just on the other side and then when i get there there is a lot i mean there's luckily we were i think we were um hertz but like the uh enterprise line there must have been 100 people standing in line and there was probably like 20 in the hertz line but i must have been standing in line for a good hour plus in that i mean it took forever forever and i just sat there and waited and i guess as closer to time for the flight to land i start looking because i've got this flight number i'm searching it i'm refreshing to make sure because now it's delayed finally i figure out it is landing but in a completely different terminal now and so i have to get on the same thing a bus little i don't know what do you call those things yeah to take me to the other side and i'm just hoping that i've i'm not the greatest with directions and stuff so i'm just hoping that like i read this correctly so we get over there still dan's still waiting we're texting each other we don't i have no idea on the map where he is compared to me um plane comes or at least what i think is the plane no luggage so i go ask the lady and she's like no i think it so the the one lady was like okay like you want us to ship it to you want you she's taking my information the other lady's like no wait keep waiting and i was like okay so i did i kept waiting and it just so happened that by the time you got the rental car and got around like literally the luggage came out within five minutes right it was like a miracle yeah because i was thinking he's gonna have no clothes for all weekend like all this theme outfits that's what i was thinking you were thinking about jackie and john which i get that i was too we were communicating the whole time you were communicating with them long story short we did not make the interview because the studio closed at six and and we were still in the airport at 6.
Yeah, and it was like a good hour drive. Another thing of noting, once I finally got up to the rental car desk, the way Hertz works is you are in like a class of car. So we had rented what we thought was an SUV, but then they send you out to the parking lot, and you just pick, you know, I don't know what the classes are called, but you pick whatever your class of car is and they have that aisle that has the cars in it.
So I get to that aisle and I'm looking for an SUV and there are no SUVs to be found, right? There's like minivans, there's like little pickup trucks, but they don't have a back on them and we got a bunch of luggage. So it's like, I don't want to throw my luggage in the back of the truck if it's going to rain.
But what they did have was Camaros yeah which sounded fun in theory it was terrible it was terrible when I walked out and I like see this car I'm like oh this is fun like we're gonna have this like hot sexy weekend and we got this Camaro we could barely get in and out I'm like screw this I'm getting the Camaro if we don't if there's no good SUV here I'm taking a Camaro um we almost couldn't fit our luggage in the camaro first and we only had three pieces like if we tried to pack we had one just for our pool games and giveaway and then i had a suitcase and you had a suitcase so we really tried to do a good job as far as like packing but it barely fits so anyway needless to say this trip started out like kind of crazy but at this point we had missed everything we were just like okay fuck it well the funny the camaro was a thing the whole weekend because every time not many people a lot of people had flown and stuff and there wasn't many people that had cars so we were one of the ones with the car so every time we go out to lunch or something everybody's trying to squeeze into the camaro to go eat yeah it was imagine getting so not only was it hard for me and you but then to get in the back seat of the Camaro like a grown adult in the back seat of a Camaro there almost is no back seat yeah yeah so it's funny so we made it eventually I mean that's like a 10-minute story of how we finally got to Houston but we got there we stopped at Chick-fil-a we went to We went went and got us some alcohol and we found a little grocery store Kroger or something.
And so we did all that because we had already missed dinner, we had missed everything. At this point, we were just going to make it to the club portion, which was fine. I mean, it wasn't terrible. So we literally just got there, got checked in. I was really surprised when we walked in how many people knew us. Yeah, it's funny because, you know, we go to a lot of events and stuff, but most of them are here in the south, right?
Between, like, you know, Georgia and Tennessee and kind of that's kind of our, you know. Florida. Florida, that's kind of our neck of the woods. And so we know a lot of people in this area. But when you go somewhere like, you know, not in New Orleans or like Houston, you don't really know. I just always assume that not like I think some people, especially well, obviously in a swinger setting, not in a non-swinger setting, people don't know who we are at all.
But I expect a few, but like we walked in and they were like, we could barely even get our stuff in.
People were speaking to speaking to us and i don't know i guess i felt like we were far enough away from home that people wouldn't know who we were but i was grateful the internet puts you everywhere they were all so nice so nice oh my gosh the nicest people um so we get all checked in um and then we we basically went in our room and just kind of dropped everything, got a little impact, and started getting ready. Thursday night was leather and lace, which we had just done that at Splash Atlanta.
So I felt like it was a repeat of what we had just done, but we did get different outfits to kind of change it up a little bit. Everybody loved your leather and lace dress from Houston. They did. It was from. It's probably one of the cheapest dresses you've ever worn for an event. It was $15.
So I just want to say that's probably one of the dresses that people have freaked out the most over on social media slash one of the cheapest dresses you've ever worn to an event correct so let's just let's just note that let's put that in the bank just remember cheapest dress biggest it was also not leather or lace but it kind of had that like look strappy i don't know it was strappy it was very comfortable because it was cotton but it was strappy and yeah everybody everybody loved it um but it was people are still asking on the internet where they're really oh yeah huh it's from fashion nova i had actually bought that dress like for splash atlanta but it was too big and i had to return it and get the right size yeah okay so another thing about splash houston is there because we did fly there and most of our group is kind of located here in the south we didn't have a lot of hosts and influencers and people from swinger society that are public on social media with us at splash correct it was basically us in life of spice and well in nicole nicole tennessee girl nicole yeah and and jeff and aaron which is iron and they are on this yeah they do a little on social media yeah but they like i guess me and life is pice is probably like on tiktok and stuff like that the the ones that people would recognize the most um nicole does a lot of instagram and stuff like that does nicole have tiktok does she do no i mean if she does it's not it's just one to look yeah people so which i love having our big group and that's a lot of fun but sometimes it's nice to have a smaller group it's just it's easier I mean me and Life of Spice have literally been making TikToks together for years so we can hit the button do it really quick and move on so it's pretty seamless with her and I and even the four of us well it's funny because you know it's a small group at Hedo too almost the same group yeah and then a small group here and it's it's funny that, you know, it was a small group at Hedo, too.
Almost the same group, really. And then a small group here. And it's funny that, like, you know, Life of Spice and us are probably the only ones that are really doing it, like, full-time, like, for a job, right? And so they take that very – I mean, we take it pretty seriously, too, but they take it really seriously. And so every night before the club, you know, Mr. and Mrs. Life of Spice would show up. We'd do TikToks. We'd do videos.
Well, we actually did it in their room this time because they didn't fly, so they had all of their lights and everything. So we would go to their room, and we did. We had TikToks saved. If y'all wonder how we do it, we usually save TikToks for every night. And so we went in their room, you know, took our pictures, all the things, made some TikToks, and then we hit the party.
Which not it's not you you talked about a little bit so us and uh mr mrs life of spice go back to the beginning i mean when it was swing talk before swinger society before podcasting before any you know just when we just started posting on tiktok we found them pretty early on um so it kind of goes you know reminds me of like the first secrets event you know like some of the first um you guys getting together and it's nice it was nice to see that it was nice to hang out with them probably more than we have previously the whole summer we've gotten some good quality time with them which is like super i mean i i think the world of them yeah so it's been it was a good summer um so yeah that was pretty much it and then it was the club um did live a spice dj on thursday i feel like he may have i don't remember but we danced and we partied and it was fun but we did call it an early night that night because most everybody had flown and was exhausted and um so it was just we were all just dead yeah it was a really pretty tired and like our whole group wasn't there some of them came in friday so it was pretty it was just like maybe three or four couples and then you know who else was there that we didn't mention who can we call her duane and gina oh don't do that duane and buffy buffy and duane yeah um there.
They don't. They're on TikTok a little bit. Yeah, so I think they'll hop in your TikToks and stuff, but they don't post. I don't know why we didn't say them. Because we didn't do a whole lot with them, anybody Thursday night. But they were definitely a huge part of the rest of the weekend for us. Stay tuned for them. But, yeah, it was just fun. We just danced.
And, danced and like i said everybody was tired the first day at any swinger event is always pretty chill so friday what we do babe well so friday we were able to sleep in a little bit and this is this is kind of nice the swinger events match our personal schedule they do i think me and lacy don't like doing a bunch of anything before 10 a.m. Really noon if I had my choice.
And the way most these lifestyle events work, especially when there's a pool party, if it's kind of like, you know, hotel takeover or like a secrets event where there's, you know, pool stuff. So the general timeline is about 11 o'clock. People start showing up for the pool.
Pool doesn't really start really get going to like noon one ish and then you know pool games and kind of the pool goes to like four to five ish yeah right and then that five to like nine o'clock at night is kind of a gap where everybody goes and eats or sleeps takes a nap gets ready and then everybody starts showing up to the club which is the ballroom at most of these places, but a place like Secrets or Hedo, they have actual physical clubs.
You know, they start showing up there 9, 10 p.m., right? And then you dance from 9 to midnight, 1 o'clock-ish, and then it's time to go fuck, and then go to bed, and then do the whole thing all over again. Yes. So that's the general flow for most lifestyle events, if you don't know. Dan just laid it out for you. You did so good. Did a good job. All right. Okay. So Friday, us on schedule, because I had been selected or they had asked me to host a pool party. Me and you, just FYI. Yeah.
You, Vanna White, my pool party. I don't know how much hosting you do. You hog the pool party. I hog them? Yeah. Since when? I mean, like. Half the time you're still in the pool i try to get out and help at the grove you went back and took a nap at the end okay listen all right they hired us okay to do it all right they hired dan to host the pool party and lacy to stand there and look pretty um okay so we got down there we went down there about i think 10 a.m or so.
And it was like hardly anybody there. Yeah, we just wanted to. The DJ was still kind of getting set up. Yeah, we wanted to be professional and be there on time. So we went down even earlier. But it was fine because we sat at the bar. They actually, most hotels that Splash uses, I can't speak for Fort Lauderdale because I haven't been there yet. But all the other ones, they have a restaurant within the hotel. That's nice. It's very nice. Especially this one.
Like the Atlanta one has quite a few restaurants. Like even in the parking lot. And this one didn't have them that close. But you could have driven to one super easy. But it did make for lunches and stuff. Pretty handy. So we ate it. The food was good. It was very good.
Except for I didn't realize until the last day that we were there that the menu had a backside on it i didn't know that either yeah so like i was only ordering like that like the appetizers they had like a whole because people kept getting stuff and i was like where the hell are they getting like it was like a cheeseburger it was like a fish it was like no and then like literally i ordered our food on the last day and i flipped i flipped the menu over and i was like you've got to be fucking kidding me who would have thought to look on the back side of the menu yeah that's crazy it's craziness because everybody had all these things that look like delicious i'll tell you i had they have like that bang bang shrimp or i don't know whatever you know whatever they're calling it but essentially it's bang bang shrimp um and it was so good like i think i ate it every every meal three days it was very good so i mean i don't hate it but like some of that other stuff looked good okay so another note about houston is it was hot as balls yeah literally my note i make notes and i said hot as satan's balls satan's balls um so it's so hot that when we first got so once the dj got set up and started playing music and then we kind of you know we're talking to him and talking to some of the splash staff we're like okay yeah we'll start a game at you know 12 30 or something like that and then the music started cutting out because it was so hot that the sound system was like shutting down it was like over 100 right the computer and stuff was like going into that heat saver mode or whatever and it's shutting down the dj booth so we had to scramble and go uh get an ice bucket like a tray and then uh put a fan on top of it to blow the cold ice air across the dj equipment to keep it from yeah from shutting down it was intense even our pool games were struggling like we have these little cogs that are made of like rubber they were melting they were sticking together i mean like everything like um we had some donations from the booth inside one of it was chapstick and i was like trying to keep it cool in the shade it was everything was melting was melting yeah like if you and what what sucked even more is this hotel was very particular about their alcohol and purchasing it from them and you could not have your cups right so you basically had to use like a koozie like with a plastic cup and it just it wasn't working so you almost had to like down your drinks or if you had like a non-alcoholic beverage it it was just the heat was definitely a factor in this party and the pool was like super warm bath water yeah where if you went to splash atlanta it was it was so cold you could barely get in the water this water was so hot you wanted to get out of the water i agree yeah well i don't know if you want to get out but it was not you when it's 105 degrees outside or 110 degrees or whatever it was that weekend you you were like oh pool then you walk into it and you're like i don't know this water feels like it's the same temperature as the air it was not good it wasn't uh wasn't as refreshing so what do you think of the crowd i think we got to really get to know people in the pool area there definitely was not as many people as splash atlanta which is not always a bad thing if that's what you're into i think the crowd was a little bit older when i say older i don't mean like an old person i mean like older than me i'm 39 so i felt like they were probably like 40 50 yeah 10 years um but super nice people um i will say at one moment i bent over to pick up something and that guy smacked my ass without consent so hard that left a handprint on my ass the first day of the pool yeah it was either the first or second day i don't know um and thought it was like funny and i didn't i give him like the look though i gave him the look i should have as like a spokesperson for the lifestyle i should have been like sir that was inappropriate you should have asked consent to smack my ass before you did and then to maybe not smack it so hard that you're going to leave right handprints especially if you don't know me at all i have no idea who this man was so i was a little disappointed that that happened but i think and i don't want to stereotype but i feel like an older generation of swingers are less concerned with consent as the younger is that is that overstepping saying that uh i don't yeah i mean i get i understand what you're saying i think you know there's been a big focus and a big push on that i think in society really in the last you know 10 or so years um but i think you definitely see that reflected in in the lifestyle as well i don't mean that like i don't want to say that everybody that's over 40 or over 50 doesn't have because that's not the case but i find that people that tend to be older than me are the ones that struggle a little bit more with kids and i don't used to doing in a different way i don't think they have like bad bad intent i think like he was playing he was laughing his wife was laughing i mean it would have been funny had he had asked permission i don't know and not hit you so hard and not hit me so hard yeah right or maybe you had so i'm really not trying to offend anyone with that statement and i hope no i think it's okay to say that's not okay though you know when things like when things like that happen.
I think it's important to talk about that. And yeah, you probably, I mean, I'm sure by the look on your face, you probably got the point that he did something wrong. I hope so. You know, calling people out when they do stuff like that, you know, because if you just let it slide, then it's going to happen to somebody else. When truly, I should have used my words. But I think I was so taken back that he had done that, that I was like, did that really just happen?
You know, it was more of that than anything, but it's fine. Life goes on, you know. Yeah. Okay. I learned from that. So next time, I'm going to say something. You should. Okay. So anyway, I got off on a tangent there.
I'm not sure if that was Friday or Saturday, but the pool was wonderful though other than being warm everybody was super nice we tried to make like a few laps and get to know a lot of people and chat with people um i thought everyone was it was great yeah we played a few games yeah we did the swimsuit swap which is where um the guys are on one side of the pool the the ladies wait for them on the steps of the pool. The guys jump in, swim to the ladies, and then they switch bathing suits.
So people always get a kick out of that. Yeah, it's a fun, like, high-energy game. And I feel like the same, like, five or six couples played all the same games, all the games, which I don't hate.
You know, I mean, like, if you're that fun and you you want to join them all i say do it all because there's not always going to be people that want to to participate it took us a minute i think when we first started playing games like people are hesitant to raise their hands yeah which is funny because when we're around our our group you know more swinger society kind of people it's like there's almost too many people that want to play sometimes. You know what I mean?
But it took them a little bit. But I think after we played a game or two, then people started to warm up to the games and want to play more. So we did the swimsuit swap game. Then we did the hair bands, which is the hair band game is where you take a bunch of hair bands and throw them into the pool. The people in the pool are allowed to hide them.
They can put them on themselves, wrists and fingers and dicks and wherever they want to hide them uh and then the people that are um playing the game have to then go into the pool and find the hair bags you've played this one a few times yeah i have what do you it's a good way to i think it's a good way to kind of mix and mingle and people get laughing yeah it is it's a good way to have people like interact with one another um yeah i like it and then i think the last game what we did was the jump rope game which i'm still laughing at duane people take the jump rope game very very seriously by people i specifically mean duane duane we're calling you out here okay so what's so funny is he is talking.

But I guess because because other people were talking about like people remember this jump rope being a heated situation so he gets up and he is jump roping and um he we check the timer the counters yeah his score was like 20 but the so here's the problem here's the problem is these are like $10 jump ropes off Amazon, one. Yes. Two, the way they work is the rope goes around on the end of the handles. Yeah. And it has to do a complete spin for it to count.
So if your thumb gets in the way or something and you stop that piece from spinning, it's going to stop counting.
Well, and some of them were holding some of the rope if you grab so some of the people are too short or whatever so that instead of holding just the handles they'll grab the rope but if you're holding the rope in any any in any way shape or form it can't spin and then they're just cheap and they probably don't count that great anyway i've literally got the cheapest ones because like the most expensive ones were like 25 for one jump rope you need like four five yeah I got the $10 one.
But he was so fucking pissed off. Like not okay. I don't know how pissed off. He was frustrated. He wanted to win. He's a competitor. He was a little pissed off. But what's even fucked up about the whole thing is I end up giving the wrong prize to the wrong girl. Yeah, so this was like the grand prize of the day.
it was uh caliente was there and whoever won that prize got a free night at caliente which is a resort in florida and that's probably like i don't 700 800 prize or something and so we finish up and this girl wins and lacy gives it to the other person i thought it's hard to hear because like he's facing like the crowd with a microphone and i'm not kind of off to the side so i guess i just misunderstood and she even came up and was like are you sure i was like yeah i'm sure and then we walked over and dan's like wait what no he's like you gave it so then i had to go and like steve harvey the situation and be like i'm so sorry but what ended up happening is they ended up becoming friends they ended up like she gave him part gave him part of it, and he kept the other.
Well, because it was not only the Caliente, but it was $100. I think Splash had thrown in a $100 splash, and I think they split the cash or something. Yeah, they, like, went to the bar, and they bought drinks, and it felt like they hit it off. So, really, you're welcome. You did matchmaking. I did matchmaking. I felt bad, though, because it was honestly safe. The funny thing with the whole thing is Dwayne probably actually won.
But Dwayne was right there the whole time in the mix-up, like, bitching about the jump ropes. But what's really funny about the Dwayne situation is he entered, like, every one. And he didn't. Him and you don't need to do games together. What?
Because he didn't win a single one my phone but you should throw the man a bone okay you should have lied and said he had more which is not ethical and we would not do that but sometimes you got to help your friend out well i mean the funny thing is he might have the problem is i don't know like if the jump rope doesn't work you have no way of knowing but the funny thing is duane is like this big muscular like could really truly win any challenge that you give him so it's even more funny that this big muscular guy is not winning because he should win like a hundred percent hands down like the girl who won the jump rope contest was like a smaller petite female like and you look at duane and he's got like all these muscles we We probably need to invest in the good jump rope contest was like a smaller petite female like and you look at duane and he's got like all these muscles we need to we probably need to invest in a good jumper but i don't know i almost don't want to play this game anymore because the problem is when the jump ropes don't work and then people are all like mad at each other like because i have no way of knowing who won and who didn't win you know i mean like the counts the count like i i can't i can't you know and i'm sorry you didn't win lacy will give you a prize you get the ultimate prize Thank you.
I mean, like, the count's the count. Like, I can't, I can't, you know, there's six people up there. Dwayne, we love you, and I'm sorry you didn't win the jumpers. Lacey will give you a prize. It's, like like they give away some good stuff yeah and we've even like taken that back for swing or starting mic maybe we should step up our game yeah um but pretty the pool games end at four and so as a group we were like let's go up because we had been down there since like 10 ish so we were like let's go up and change and go have dinner together um and there with Dwayne and By had went to a pizza place the day before and like let's go back there so we did and it was a really cool what was the name of it i don't remember the name rizzo's or you're just making stuff up you're just saying italian sounding names i think i'm right anyway so we went to this really nice it was not it was a like uh it wasn't really nice it was very good but it was like uh it was like in a strip mall yeah it was like a mom and pop little place the pizza was very good i won't say i think our pizza was like 45 dollars or something it was like a homemade but i did get the supreme like all the toppings yeah on my side it was good though it was good so we had dinner who all was there bovie duane Life of Spies Tennessee Girl Nicole Tennessee Girl Nicole and Jeff Iron Man and yeah It was good, though.
It was good. So we had dinner. Who all was there? Buffy Dwayne, Life of Spice. Tennessee Girl Nicole. Tennessee Girl Nicole and Jeff Ironman and his wife. Yeah. Yeah. So we came back, and because there wasn't a huge group and there was not a lot going on, we actually got to rest a little. I don't think I did. I think I had to work online. But you were still laying in the bed.

Right. Or not we, I splattered paint all over it, which is actually harder than you think it is. And I did it in our backyard. So our neighbors, because, like, the houses are two-story, and you can see, like, down in each other's backyard, they're probably like, what the fuck is this girl doing? Why is she painting a toga with neon paint?
Well, and yours just look like like a white sheet so um but yeah we um we painted them and that was the best thing i could come up with a lot of people just did toga which was fine um we ended or they'd like to just a toga and like put on like you know glow bracelets and stuff yeah um but after we did our tiktoks and stuff we went downstairs for um the party and they actually did a costume contest which was a lot of fun and people were very creative like the lady that won took orange fabric and it was kind of like a sheer fabric and made it into a toga and i was like well that was so damn smart right there was several people.
There were several people that had. She had, like, lingerie on. Nice lingerie. Yeah. Probably Honey Burdett. I don't know. But then she had, like, yeah, sheer neon orange that matched it and made, like, a toga out of that. Yeah. I think she won. And there were several. There was another lady that had one. It was, like, yellow. It had these, like, appliques. It looked like she had bought it like that. Or maybe she made it. I don't know.
But it mean everybody looked really cute right so it ended up being and i will say that like every splash event we go to i'm like what the hell are these themes but then you get there and for the most part there's only been like maybe one or two that people seem to be confused everybody seems to kind of figure it out somehow no they did good yeah they did really good um so yeah so contest the contest winner won a naughty in new orleans package they did uh hosted by yours truly yeah so i hosted the toga contest we had all the contestants come out onto the stage do a little twirl and then leave and then i don't want they had like a dance off the top three or something did a dance off or something it was fun though it was a good time there was i was very impressed by people's creativity um so we again just like danced and had fun um i do know for a fact the dj life is biased dj this time because there is a tiktok of me and him dancing.
And then afterwards, we went to the playroom. We did. With who? Dwayne and Buffy. Was it just us and that? Mm-hmm. The first night it was just us four, which was actually... Oh, because Life of Spice was still DJing. Yeah. Which was actually fun. We played with them once before. If you listened to our Dallas episode, we called them Buffy and Gina because she was trying to have a fake name. And so she had Gina on her cup. And so I just assumed her name was Gina. They've given up on that since.
Yeah, they have. Which a lot of people do. But it was really nice because we had only played with them in a group setting. So, um, I really enjoyed having one-on-one. She is like a dynamite. She just kind of hops on and takes what she needs. Yeah. So we, when we met her in Dallas, it was basically, like you were saying, we were in an orgy setting and she came up and was like, I think asked you like, can I play with your husband? And you were like, absolutely.
And was a very good experience and i think we ended up with like in a full swap with them in the in the orgy setting that night um yeah we i don't we not played with them since then wow yeah and so it was nice to reconnect with them and get some time and yeah definitely this time it was more one-on-one which was which was very nice yeah because we were in a pretty large room by ourselves and at one point we looked up and and this always happens every time we play but there's so many people like now i will say the splash playrooms were busy the whole time like um this night we kind of you walk through and do a loop and if we're going to talk about you know splash playrooms they're kind of the same everywhere but they have a room they call it the observation deck which is like a bunch of sheared curtain single beds and then they have like seats and chairs and stuff where you the kind of the idea is people can play and people can sit there and they can watch um then they normally have like a kink bdsfm room which has like this banking bench the saint andrew's cross and stuff like that um and then in this particular at houston they had two other rooms that were kind of more group rooms right where?
Where there was, I think one was like the green room and one was like the blue or red room or something like that. Yeah, I don't know what they're, they're all called something. I just don't remember. Uh, and so really the only place we could find was like, there was like a bed that was open in one of the group rooms. And so we, we, and there wasn't, I think there was a few people in the room on the beds, but maybe not fucking me. They're just kind of talking or chchatting.
But anyway, we get in there and we start fucking. And just like Lacey said, like, you know, 20 minutes into it, you look up and there was quite a crowd in there. Mostly people watching. There did end up being like one or two couples. And do you remember that guy who had a pouch on his arm? Yes. Yeah. Yeah.
It was like a fanny pack on his arm and he was straight up fucking with the fanny pack on and at this point i'm like giggly and probably way too tipsy and i'm like what's in there like he's like my condoms yeah i asked him and so then he shows me these condoms that are like saran wrap do you remember this i do remember and he's like like he's trying to do this full-on demonstration in the middle of this playroom and i'm laughing we have to research what exactly that was yeah it's some sort of like it was an actual condom he opened it out of a pack and everything but they were like thin like saran wrap they looked like some saran wrap yeah he's like it's I use.
But, like, we got tickled. Maybe that was the next night. I don't know. The nights run together. Yeah, but I remember what you were talking about. He had a whole bag, so that was a funny thing. But it was really great to connect with Buffy and Dwayne.

and then when you meet again you do it all over again yeah which is that's kind of our style and i'm not putting down i mean i know there's people that need more than that oh 100 and some couples we do need more than that like it depends on the situation and stuff like that but it's so hard for us to communicate and keep so many relationships going and something that it's very nice to have couples like that as well so um i just love their no drama just cool vibe i'll take it any day agreed all right so then we uh went to bed because we were had lots of sex and we're tired uh-huh and then we woke up on saturday and we basically just do it all over again like it's a copy and paste of the day before all over again yeah pool um i think we even had the same the shrimp uh we did it's so good we did that this is when i figured out that the menu had two sides to it now i will say at the pool game there was this lady who really wanted she really really wanted to do planks well first of all she was fucked up she was pretty drunk yeah i don't know what she yeah i don't know but she was and not only was she driving us crazy everybody everybody the dj the dj is like looking at me like who the hell and we had saw anybody that had any kind of splash like that was representing splash in any way it didn't matter for somebody picking up towels she would go up to them and say we really need to do a competition a plank competition and she was very passionate about this plank coming and i was like we can just give you a prize it's like it's she's like you want a t-shirt you want a hat what can i give you or you can just go up there and do a plank and then i'll give you a t-shirt we'll like announce that you're she's like no i don't need the attention like i got this i got it i just think we should do it though and i'm like okay but we give we'll give you the prize we'll let you do the plank but like nobody else here must have asked a hundred times and well it was like funny and she was hot i mean she was gorgeous blonde hair big boobs like abs like looked like she walked out of a fitness magazine but she was pretty fucked up she was really fucked up and she really wanted to do a plank competition it was really funny like to the point where she walked by and then like we were playing into it like how's that plank you know but what's funny about it is the night before she had walked up like really close to life of spice dj love of spice and i think she was like oh did she request a song or something i think maybe she was going to and he like or maybe she was going to tell him he was like i don't know i feel like there was a flirting on her half and like dj love of spice didn't know how to react and he's like hey how you doing that's what he said like really serious like no somehow like just like barely looked up from his turntable like hey how you doing and me and mrs life of spice were like dying laughing like could not breathe and she just like kind of walked off and um so we're dying so like that with the whole plank thing was hilarious and she entered every single fucking competition that day and after every competition she was like well what about the planks she was great though like she was a good time and i bet she's a real good time everywhere else i bet but i would worry about consent that would be she is one of those people that you would worry about consent with but because she seemed to be fucked up the whole time and i don't know we didn't really get a chance to know her maybe that's her personality i don't or maybe there's something else going on there i don't know but she really likes planks she really likes planks um okay so we played pool games and like you said she played every single one of these the plank girl did uh and the first one was the condom competition which is basically you blow up a condom like a balloon and duane's popped or no his was like a half a centimeter smaller than the guy who won or the girl who won it again he was i was like dan just give it to him just give it to him and you i didn't you didn't know i was saying that but i was like thinking it in my mind i would never do that i i host honest competitions i don't care if you're my friend not my friend it's all about the authenticity of the competition okay there's no cheating he was like close to that.
Was he? And the fact that he lost the day before, and then he was so close. Listen, Dwayne, practice your condom blowing. We're going to do this again sometime. Listen, you can fuck my wife all the time, but you cannot win my competition. Okay, and then we did the duck competition. Yeah, this is where the guy smacked my ass. Okay. Yeah. So the duck competition is we got a bunch of rubber finger duckies.
You throw them in the pool, and you get some people up on stage with nets, and then everybody in the pool flicks the ducks, the cocks, at the people on the side of the pool. Whoever can net the most cocks wins the competition. This one's always funny because people are just like getting hit in the face with rubber cocks. They're everywhere.
It's like when you say go go it's like if you can envision like a rain storm of rubber cocks like hitting people all at once well and i usually have to pick them up so i'm like bending over going through like trying to they're in there usually at a pool obviously at a pool setting so they're always in between all the chairs they're everywhere but yeah it's pretty funny it's a good it's a good game yeah and then um i did have to take the cocks up so they would not melt yes because the room yeah now i'm true this because they legit were melting probably need to check those to make sure they're good oh they were good for the growth so yeah um and then we did a wet t-shirt contest and again this one was sponsored by caliente and the winners of the wet t-shirt contest got a free trip to caliente resort in orlando and all the ladies wanted to join like literally we ran out of shirts right which is just good because i think we did it i don't remember where we did we did it somewhere else in the grove and no this was before this was before the grove though oh okay i don't know yeah we've done it several places but anyway yeah we had a ton of people that were interested in the one t-shirt contest and it was pretty pretty hot it was very hot the plank girl she didn't win but she was in that one for sure she was in every she was in every competition on saturday she was she was very competitive that day and what's even just so we can wrap up talking about the plane girl she did the same thing to the dj saturday night too oh tried to request songs well she was up there like trying to talk and i could see i could see dj love a spice like i think she thought he was she was complaining or something and she's like he's trying to interfere it was just like i don't know the plane girl was so she was she was a whole vibe she was something uh okay so that finished up we did the web t-shirt contest um which is always a big hit big fan of that one uh and then we went uh finished up the pool party again it was a million degrees the water was kind of warm same thing we started to get to know people it's always funny like the first day it's kind of like everybody's feeling each other out and then the second day everybody's like more in party mode yeah and i think there's always i think there's something to be said like if people haven't made a connection yet saturday is always like the you know if nothing has happened yet they you gotta make something happen so they're being a lot flirtier being a lot more outward i think i think saturday you know people are warmed up and they're like i want i want something naughty to happen tonight so i need to put myself out there um so that's always a good you can kind of feel that vibe build on the weekend throughout the weekend when we do events like this um yeah okay so that wrapped up the pool party and then we had a special dinner to go to we did so um shout out to bj has he ever gotten a shout out on the podcast i don't know maybe We'll be right back.
up the pool party and then we had a special dinner to go to we did so um shout out to bj has he ever gotten a shout out on the podcast i don't know maybe so um if you ever on our tiktoks or in our tiktok lives we have this guy named bj who lives in texas and he has just been like an og follower back to when dan was deployed now that we can say that you were actually deployed um overseas you were in a robe in an in a hotel i won't say the location we won't say that um in a middle eastern country middle eastern country um and vj was like one one of the ones there and we just connected with him and became friends with him and have developed this friendship long distance friendship via social media and stuff like this all these years and it's gonna be almost three years at this oh god to be yeah and he's just always been there you know he's the only follower you know that i've given my phone number to and he's been there to support me and fight off anybody that was being mean to me and just kind of hearing me bitch when i needed a bitch and it's just um it's been super nice and so he we he had tried to come to dallas last year when we were in the area but somebody actually stole his truck yeah i remember that like this is a real story they stole his truck and he could not come because he, it was like a whole thing.
So I was like, you're coming. He couldn't come to the actual event because he was a single guy. It's couples only. And it's couples only. So he couldn't come in. But we had met him for Mexican and sat there and just chit-chatted for like two hours and just talked about nothing but everything at the same time.
It's funny because, you know, we never met him in person, but it still felt like you were meeting with an old friend you know i mean like like at first i was like oh this is the person that i've been talking to and you know like putting the pieces together but it very quickly turned was super easy and it was just nice so um we had to kind of break away from the group to go do that which was kind of hard but i was super glad that we did right he was an awesome person and i enjoyed our our little time i had a great time at dinner yeah uh and then it was then it was rushed back to the hotel so that we could get ready in time for the um for the club night yeah like we barely made it like we got stopped in the lobby and like i looked down and i had 30 minutes basically to get ready And that's what fantasy.

So i had a mermaid skirt that i had wore to splash the year before 2022 so i pulled her out of retirement bought a blue lingerie piece for the top and i was a blue mermaid it was good it was a good outfit yeah and you had like a blue um tank top and i had a captain's hat that we had wore at hito so we were able to actually use some pieces recycled some stuff for that yeah use some pieces um and i i love that mermaid skirt and i love the mermaid theme so i was super happy to wear that you were It's a very pretty mermaid.

Okay, and then I actually left you with the Mr. and Mrs. Spice. You did. Because I had to go host the costume contest in the ballroom. Which really, by the time I got down there, it was just getting started. So you must have had to get down there early or something, because I didn't really miss anything.
Well, it's always it's always the you know there's not really a set time it's kind of you wait until the crowd builds a little bit before you do it yeah so i think yeah so i walked in like right as you were starting to line people up yes uh and so the way we did this was kind of a dance off competition yeah but it was supposed to be a costume contest i think you lost sight of that well it doesn't matter don't don't worry about that all right it was a talent something.

And then the people in the contest danced on the people in the chairs and then we picked the top three and then yeah we put bob bobby in the chair bobby got up there and as the wife i'm like where is bobby's wife like that's where my mind went mine went she was napping but i was like what if she doesn't what if she's not okay with this luckily it was a man so i mean like Well, of course, she could not be okay with that, too. But it was like, what if she doesn't, what if she's not okay with this?
Luckily, it was a man. So, I mean, like, of course, she could not be okay with that, too. But it was hilarious because the guy. So, the top three. Yeah. Well, the top three was two girls and one guy. I'm sorry. The guy was so memorable. So, then we put Bobby in the chair. And it's funny because all of the splash. Okay. So, if you don't know who Bobby is, he's kind of like the general manager.
He's the one that runs the runs the whole thing kind of you know he's the the face or the marketing director yeah so he's the one that's during these weekends he's running around like a you know just doing everything in full panic mode taking care of everything right like at splash you've seen him you may not know his name but you have seen bobby at splash right so he's been on our podcast before so i I thought he needed some relaxation. You know what I mean? He needed some. He did not relax.
He did not look relaxed in that chair. He looked like squirrely. Like his hands were flaring. He didn't know where to put his hands. Yeah. Yeah. So then he had all three people dance on him.
And one of them was was a guy and that guy went all out like what's funny is the girls were probably like sexier and better but the guy just said fuck it and went a hundred percent in and so he won because it was so and what's funny is all of the people that work with bobby or for bobby were all they are watching oh and they're rolling on the ground i mean like they're like crying they're laughing sort of course bobby's wife is asleep and i'm thinking i need to record this but i can't record it because obviously we're at a swingers club and i want to or you know hotel takeover we want to be respectful but like i could i was thinking of her i was like she needs to see this and i hope she's okay with it because the two women were like gorgeous and they were like boobs out crotch out grinding it was pretty good it was very hot yeah but the guy won he won i don't remember what he won he got to come back he got like half off or something like that for splash and i was talking to bobby after he's like that's the kind of bill we want here you know but he was such a good sport he laughed he had fun and even his wife found me later and she was like i missed it why didn't y'all tell me i was like i didn't know dan was gonna do that it was one of those made it made it up as we go kind of thing apparently that costume contest slash striptease show that you threw it's good it's good i laughed really hard though uh yeah okay and then this time so we danced and stuff the rest of the night and had a good time um but dj life of spice was not dj he had this night which means at the end of the night he was able to come to the playroom.
Yeah. And you know, I have not had sex with Lime of Spice since Hedo. That was May. And I've seen him like every single party. And I still didn't have sex with him this time. You didn't? No. Oh. I'm going to have to make a special house call or something.
You better let know i know every time i'm like hey i see you so it ended up uh buffy and duane yeah me and you mr and mrs spice and then nicole and chris which are a tennessee girl nicole and her husband chris now nicole and chris stayed on the other bed so they are not normally group playroom people no that's not their not normal that's not their comfort zone no but they they were good they came i was super into chris and really wanted to fuck him but i think he was worried about her because um well i know that he was because he told me the next day um because he didn't want me to feel like i was rejected which i thought was really sweet i didn't really feel rejected.
I felt like he was being a good husband to his wife, and she just kind of seemed like, what are we doing here? Kind of that situation, which I get if you're not used to being in group play. That's a lot. It's a lot.
I think we forget because we do it like every event almost at this point where we end up in a playroom with a bunch of people and people watching and stuff like that but if you've never experienced that or it's a lot for your first time it is see the problem is is that we just like fucking everybody so if we could get us all on one bed and just take turns like it's win-win otherwise we only get to fuck like one couple and that and that's boring no it's not boring one couple can be fucking amazing but when you've got 10 couples there i mean 10's nice right right it's just in a group setting it's so much more efficient use of your time when you're trying to connect with multiple people they're gonna be like they're such some poor and we are proud um but yeah so we ended up playing with life of spy i think you might have played a little with her we i know i played with uh duane you played with buffy i saw some nicole mr life i don't know who all i don't know it was kind of a hodgepodge situation there's a lot happening there was a lot i definitely got some time with uh buffy again we had a great weekend with buffy and duane like at the end of the day like that we were kind of like they were on couple that weekend yeah i did i did have a little bit of mrs life of spice time i did not get any life of spice and i think you and i think that was i did not get any life of spice time or any chris time next time time.
I even made an appointment with Chris. I'm calling him out. Yeah. Now he's going to be really embarrassed and he's never going to fuck me because I just did that. I should play hard to get. Yes. Because right now I'm kind of laying it on thick. Right. It's not working. Well, he seems like the kind that needs, he needs you to kind of encourage it though. Yeah. I think he needs. He's a shy guy, I think. Which I like. Yeah, I know you do.
I like the shy guys, and I also like the guys that, like, take control. Like, throw you in the corner. Yeah. I need a little bit of both in my life. Well, that's what's so good about the lifestyle, right? Variety. It's all about the variety. Mm-hmm. But, yeah, anyway. It was fun. We basically ended up in the playroom with all of our friends that were there. Yeah.
a good time yeah i think everybody had a good experience and i think that was a night with a guy with a backpack because i can remember on his arm arm pack because i remember like nicole and them being in there and it's laughing about what does he have in there does he have like a granola bar this is the bad part about um doing the podcast episodes like a month after yeah yeah we try to do it within like a week if not just a few days after is the best because then you have a pretty still have a pretty good yeah um but we do take notes after or even during um we try to so if you see me typing on my phone i may not be just just social media-ing.
I may actually be taking- Well, not during. You're not like in the playroom getting fucked like taking notes. Hold on. Let me write this down. Hold on. Maybe I should. Maybe I should. DJ Life of Spice just licked my pussy. Let me take a note of that. I know. Like a lot of these podcasters are like, they touch my leg. I know. How do they do that? I don't know.
I listen to some of these podcasts and then when they tell these stories and I'm like how do they remember that much detail of everything that happened and listen it's not even like it's not like we're so drunk we don't remember me and lacy are pretty sober people like we like to have a little bit of fun but we're never like blackout like we're we're always of sound blacked out period in my life we're always of sound mind and body now we might be a little loose and a little bit of fun but we we are always um of sound mind when we engage with people and i cannot remember i can't i don't have the level of detail of memory this i mean unless we like podcast the next morning that would be the only way i think i don't even know if i could do it then but i don't know i just feel like there's always so much going on it's just just so hard to remember it all.
Yeah. Maybe that's it, though, is because we end up in this group. Because we're such big whores. We're such big whores. There's too much going on for us. We can't remember this. Our brain doesn't process it all. That might be it. Yeah. That makes sense to me. The good news is The Grove wasn't that long ago. And we're going to talk about it like right after this. You'll hear it next week. And I was the biggest whore I've been in years. In a long time. Years. A long time. All right.
