What happens when you report someone?

E&B - Those thoughts definitely crossed my mind, but I suspect he'd be just as much of a dick afterwards, and maybe even worse.

So many SMs are no-shows anyway, even when presented with a sure thing. We had a date set up with an SM and his FWB this past Friday. Never called or showed, then had the nerve to text me that he still wanted to get together a couple days later.

We once had a douchebag talking to us on kik ... cant remember where we initially met ... anyways, guy was a total dickhead ... so next day then Im talking to him as the wife ... teling him I (wife) would love to play with him, getting him all worked up, telling him how much I want him to fuck my pussy and ass. Then I decided to up the ante ... told him a female friend was over and we were both horny and we wanted to share a cock... then told him we were getting a hotel room and then sent him on a wild goose chase to said hotel lol ... maybe that'll teach him to be a dickhead

I don't know if that would be a deterrent, but it would be a hell of a punishment.

Especially if they didn't have ketchup.

Offenders reported to Wayne deserve a 3 topping pizza. Anchovies, Brussels sprouts, & beets.

That should be an adequate deterrent

I'm Canadian (dual citizenship). Although Canada is home of the back bacon and pineapple pizza, poutine pizza isn't high on the list of pizzas I'd order anywhere.

FWIW- poutine pizza ranks somewhere near an anchovy pizza on my list of preferred pizzas.

Phoenix, AZ, Us

It's definitely just anchovy pizza. Ick.

I've used anchovy paste in Caesar and Green Goddess salad dressings and it makes a lovely difference in flavor. I also tried anchovies during a recent trip to Italy (group challenge - eat fish that is served with its head) and while they weren't my favorite, the flavor was interesting.

Also interesting - fishy pizza for assholes.

Wayne - Serves those bastiges right. You should make it double anchovy, and BTW, I've been a bad boy ;-)

If you travel to Canada you can get poutine on your pizza at Pizza Hut.

You can. I won't.

<p>So to sum up:</p>

<p>"What happens when you report someone?"</p>

<p>They get an anchovy pizza.</p>

You misunderstand- it's not a hate of anchovies, it's a general consensus of opinion about anchovy pizza.

A brussels sprout pizza may have elicited a different set of responses.

All this hate for anchovies.........I used to hate the "fishiness" of them. Then.........years ago had some fresh ones on a Ceasar's salad. They added a nice brininess. Further, our favorite Spanish restaurant in Boston serves fresh anchovies as tapas in some spectacular olive oil and toasted garlic. I could eat plates of them in one sitting. Absolutely none of that fish nastiness.

Mayhem, I like your idea of giving out an address, but my mind kept thinking of all the interesting places you could have sent him: Police stations, churches, convents, abandoned buildings, media companies, beauty parlors........

My wife says you cannot just pick anchovies off and eat the pizza because the whole pizza tastes like anchovies once you put them on the pizza. It's like they swim around in the sauce while it's cooking I guess.

San Luis Obispo, CA, Us

No thanks. I dislike ketchup on anything, even fries.

I'll just pick the pineapple off and save it for dessert. The back bacon is still tasty.

" "...AND enjoys Canadian bacon/pineapple pizzas." Did you bump your head? "

No, but thanks for asking.

I have this theory that with enough ketchup a person could eat anything. You might test that theory on a Canadian bacon/pineapple pizza.

Anchovy pizza is the only known exception to the "ketchup theory". There isn't enough ketchup in the world for that.

Wayne - "...and the husband said way worse things than the single male had said."

Believe me when I say I was tempted, but knew that nothing good would come of it. As soon as I saw where it was going I reported, then blocked him, so there was no question the written abuse was one-sided and unprovoked.

Still, seeing the guy holding an anchovy pizza in the hotel parking lot would have been some funny shit, and not surprisingly, somewhat satisfying ;-)

I like them in meatloaf, stew and a few other dishes, but definitely not on pizza.

Phoenix, AZ, Us

There is no world in which I can be made to believe that anyone likes anchovies on their pizzas. But I really like the idea, even if I wouldn't want to incur the karmic debt. ;)

But, but....I really do like anchovies on my pizza ;-)

LOL

Yeah, I got it.

I'm still reporting your post. :-)

Goodenuf - "OK, so who the hell actually orders, let alone eats an anchovy pizza? "

Almost nobody, but that's the point. The guy shows up and when he realizes he's been scammed, he's stuck with a pizza he can't even eat ;-) There was a method to the madness.

GoodenuffVeteran
Brooklyn Park, MN, Us

OK, so who the hell actually orders, let alone eats an anchovy pizza? You should be reported for even mentioning an anchovy pizza.

Although... "anchovy pizza" would make a great safe word. I know that would make me stop and get the hell out immediately.

This coming from a guy who orders pizzas with everything (except anchovies) on them AND enjoys Canadian bacon/pineapple pizzas.

mayhem8Veteran

That's kind of what I expected was the case. As much as it may have been fun to do something more creative, it wouldn't likely stop this behavior from happening to other SLS members by this person. If he was doing that to me unprovoked, it's likely a pattern and the greater good is he just needs to go away if that's the case.

So many think that they can just say what they want and get away with it behind the relative anonymity behind their keyboard/phone. This makes a case for keeping the conversation on SLS, because if this was KIK or something, the "creative" options would have been the only ones.

I have to say though that it would be kind of fun to tell someone like this that if they come to XXXXXXX address and bring us an anchovy pizza, he can fuck the Mrs as much as he wants. Just beep your horn and hold the pizza box outside your car window so we know it's you and we'll come let you in. OK, so that would maybe just be a small withdrawal on the Bank of Good Karma.

<p>We have rules that we (the staff members) follow when reviewing those reports. What we do depends on the type of issue being reported. </p>

<p>For personal attacks/rudeness:</p>

<p>1. We would look at the entire conversation and see if action is needed.</p>

<p>2. For the person being reported, we may look at how they are communicating with other members. Is there a pattern of rudeness or was this a one-time issue.</p>

<p>3. We look at the severity of the rudeness.</p>

<p>If we take action, we may flag the person and require them to state that they now understand our policies and will not do this again. If they do that in 10 minutes, they can be placed back online in 10 minutes. If they wait a month to do that, they will be offline for a month.</p>

<p>If it is a repeat offender, we will keep them offline for a longer period of time each time. For example, 1 month, 2 months, 3 months, banned.</p>
