well, why WOULDNT it work that way...... the logical connections between the functionality of this site is mind boggling....

<p>You do not have to view someone's profile to send them a friend request. If you look at your thumbnail picture right here in the forums, you will see a white icon that looks like a person with a plus sign next to. Anyone can click on that icon to send you a Friend request. The gender blocks will block people from viewing your profile, but they will still see your thumbnail in some lists, such as the ones here in the forums, so can still send you a friend request.</p>
Just speculating, but I suspect that the SLS mobile app circumvents some of the restrictions imposed by the strictly browser based access.

I posted a helpful tutorial on how to send IM's via SLS... it was promptly removed. Move along, nothing to see here, the site is flawlessly perfect and YOU must be doing something on your end.
We saw one who viewed us also yesterday. The same thing blocked males. Plus now the fucking messaging is no longer working. I've had three messages gobbled up. UGH!!!
We just received a friend request from a single male. We cannot look at his profile however, because WE HAVE SINGLE MALES BLOCKED.
How did he send us a friend request Wayne, or even view our profile to think he was interested?
