Most all Tech publications suggest to Not install personals app on your
mobile device. But SLS management thinks otherwise. Just look around at the recent improvements in the past year.
They are smarter than those tech guys on all the other websites.
Mobile App - Differences in Home Page from Desktop
Absolutely ZERO interest or intent to load SLS App on my mobile device. Not I tested in being outed by my phone.
All my access to SLS is via mobile device in private browsing mode.
No issue with building the app for people interested in using it but don’t continue to diminish quality of mobile web experience.
If you cant open or share private pics on the app wtf is the point of even having it?
You can't share private pics in the app at all. Likely due to Apple and Google's standards to allow the app in their app stores.
So you'll likely never see that feature on the app.
Also, how do you open your private pics for someone? There's a button on the desktop version, none on the profile you're viewing in the app. Also, when I click on "private pics" nothing happens but a message with no link to pics. And this if for friends I am able to view their private pics with the desktop. As it stands now, the app is not ready for prime time. How do you release an app that doesn't at LEAST have the same functionality as the desktop version? Given the abortion of the calendar feature, I'm really not surprised with the app either.
Hi BiGuy, I opened both and while the WVM is the same on each platform, there seems to be a discrepancy of The Who’s Online, being the app showing less because there are profiles showing up on the full web page that lye in between those that the app shows.
I looked in the app for settings, yet cannot find any either, so it may be server side.

Overall, I'm pretty happy with the mobile app for messaging, and although you can't see public or private pics there, the overall profile experience if pretty good.
One thing I notice is that there is a difference in who is listed on Who Viewed Me or Who is online between mobile and desktop views. Mostly it seems to be related to the default setting of View Pics as Yes vs. Any. There seems to be nowhere to set that or have it remember my previous setting. Anything that can be done?
