Just me? The message system does not (ever) show a new message from a Single Male with no picture as a SM instead those messages ALWays appear as a couple with no picture icon.
I cannot tell a couple message from a SM message unless there is a default picture associated with the profile.

lcmim - everything will show in the messages tab. If a message isn't showing in the messages tab then it didn't happen (doesn't matter how long of a message you typed before hitting send). The sent, saved, replied and whatever other tabs belong to the old mail system and anything still showing there is old history.
I really do't know if I am having a problem.
Twice in the last 13 days I have tried to message a couple that I had chatted with shortly in the past.
The first time when there was not even a nod I checked my messages. The one I sent shows up as I would expect, but if I look under the "sent" tab nada.
Does that mean that my message is lingering in the bowels of the SLS server? Or has the functionality of the "sent" tab gone away?
I just tried again and the same thing.
These folks were always chatty enough in the past, and we parted on good terms our family schedules just were not lining up. So I doubt we are being ghosted. They have been online several times in the las week or so.
Am I missing something? Can only send messages on our phones - no more bird? Messages are great when they work.
I guess messaging isnt working again. Havent been trying to send a message to somebody for the last 5 hours and it never goes through
next question................ why are some of my messages and replays not always there. It is hard to keep in touch and communicate with people when you cant see what you wrote a few hours ago. I memory is good but not that good. I had to keep repeating questions to people, it makes you look like an ass.

BottomsUp, we'll do just that. We see the message has disappeared from our received messages but we haven't heard anything from support since we notified them.
@centralbucks same here. Sent in a support ticket with details of the account sending. If people don’t have a complex account password you might consider changing to one as there’s a chance accounts are being hacked. Just a suggestion.
We were just spammed via messaging by a single male referring us to another swinger site that is not supposed to have access to our profile because we've had no interaction with him whatsoever. SLS has really fallen down on the job if they're allowing tings like this to fall through the cracks. We reported it so only time will tell.
Found the issue, at least for us. When we scrolled down through all the messages, we found 4 from a couple of years ago from fake profiles we had blocked. We had to hit the "load more contacts" button at the bottom of the messages screen to get to them. For some reason, in the last few days, these messages have been restored. "reading" them cleared the message indicator.
For us it’s final messages from a couple of people that blocked us showing up months after we sent them
I had sent a ticket about it. The response was “make sure you click on recent”. I went and checked but that wasn’t the problem, I tried to reply to the ticket but it was closed.
Customer service on this site sucks.

Same, except for me it was three from 2017! Can’t save/archive but voila! when you least expect it . . .
I had one that was from January!
I jumped on line this morning to find a red 6 in my messages. When I open my message window there are no new messages???
