Member Interest Levels

We are an over 50yrs couple.It would be nice to have a Wink to let us know those who have an interest.It would save a lot of time mailing to those who have no interest.

Can this be done?

This is a total waste of time and development by SLS. So what if you can sort/view/list or whatever to find those that you have interest in based on rating that YOU give them. Put them on you friends list for Petes sake!. Send them an email, use the tools already available. A better use of time and development would be ditching the profiles that 1..may have you or your status blocked, 2. have no interest in ( as in my case) single as based on THE TEXT IN A PROFILE too as we know the bar indicator is so abused and mis-used. Hey couples!!!..dont ya know that couples include a male already!!!..so if your NOT interested in males (single) please put the interest bar at ZERO for males. I am sick of having your profiles show up in MY searches giving I and other males "false hope" and generating mail..never answered. If you are occasionaly interested in a single males for MFM, etc, you can search for them independant of having the interest level bar for males active. You will get less unsolicited mail, video chat requested, etc. Sorry for the rant.....

I think we have had someone click on the "no interest" star on us, we tried to view a profile and it states we have been blocked.! lol...it could state something else like this profile isnt viewable, or something like that....I guess its a good thing we arent taking it personally, lmao.

I think the stars should let the other person know what lever interest you have in them...kinda of a hint before sending out a e-mail makes it fun to see who has interest in who

Agreed... If you want to show interest in someone, send an email. It's worth the effort.

Please make them appear on the flyover popup!!

Also, allowing a yes/no interest that the other party can see would be desirable, but I would prefer it to be separate from the new "interest" stars.

Hopefully, the owners of this site will actually take the time to sift through all of these comments and learn something about there service.
If they were to look at there competition, x,y,z match, or Adult no friend finder, they may actually be able to acurately get the mileage calculator down to a real science. Ex; doesn't take 1 hour to drive 20 miles.
Winks are okay, but if the people on the other end aren't interested in actually meeting with sub perfect people, then what is the use.
I know, make a section for the perfect people and one for us Baggers.
Baggers will gladly have sex with anybody, that's why we are so much fun.
We know exactly who we are.

love this new feature. we are curious as to what others think of our profile and us!

awesome feature, we really hate to block folks, but then again that didn't remove them from the search or who's on but now we can rush to chatting with all the folks we want to get in touch with. instead of sifting through all the folk we want to avoid. that sounds shallow though, doesn't it. well this is, after all, for fun and pleasure so this new feature does make it more pleasurable!!

It would be great if we knew what interest level another member had for us.

Am I understanding that you can let members know your interested in other couples without sending anything? It would be nice to let people know you are interested without having to send emails. Also searching by people interested in you would be a nice feature.

we think its ok ..wish there was a way to send winks, or something like it to people to let them know u r interested . without emailing them.open to non-paid members too.

Don't believe that is necessary - have friend and notes available to make comments

I can always make notes, if they tweak my ire, or tickle my fancy!!!!!

I love this feature but am unable to return to what ever list I was looking at after making a star rating selection. As it is I have to go back to search and start all over. GRRRR. Very annoying.

New to me too. I did not know what it was at first. I did hit the NOT interested button by MISTAKE. The couple was hot, how do i say sorry i hit the button by mistake. How does this work???????????????

If the couple can not see it, then why use it? Need more time to research it.

The wink and the "see who has looked at your profile" features have been discussed several times. They each have their pros and their cons.

Now, as to the star system.... It's certainly simpler and quicker than writing a note, but if it's not visible when you view a list, I don't see the benefit.

We really like the "wink" idea from that other site (which is not nearly as good overall as SLS) and the idea that you can see who has viewed you. It sometimes opens up possibilities that may not have been there before. The "star" rating begun here is a neat idea and certainly we will play with it and see if we like it.

You know what would be great instead? A tool that says, these members have viewed you (unless the specifically chose through tools to be anonymous).

This tool doesn't need to be 3 stars. It simply needs a "block member" button. It's not like there are so many people in a local area that we can't just hit "add as friend" for quick reference of people we really want to get to know.

And while we are at it, and this is totally constructive cause we LOVE this site... how about better search parameters and more complete profile info for each member?

Make it so that we can search for people based on specific criteria such as:

"Income level", "Education", "Kids", "Time swinging", "STD Test Mandatory" and various interest levels in specific activities "Bondage", "Leather", "Costume play", "Oral", "Anal", "Interracial", "Safe Sex Only"... and the list goes on and on, but you could hit the major points. You could even let people say "Yes/Undecided/No" on each item with the default being undecided.

By the way, our idea isn't to FORCE people to click education or income. It's just an option to make finding your profile easier for those who select on those criteria. Some of us our out here want to make friends with benefits, and want to acquire friends who are on our own intellectual level and can enjoy the same things we do financially. Fucking is fine, and yes, it's super super fun. But for those of us who want more, it would help screen out people who simply don't match our ideals.

We realize it may draw fire to post this and to those we offend, we sincerely apologize for hurting your feelings. We simply want to offer our views on enhancing the site. We think it could get better with enough time for the admins to work on it.

If the admins want to discuss our ideas, send us an email or call us. We'd love to help make this place the best it can be.

It doesn't seem very useful to me. If it was a wink to the other couple letting them know that you rate them highly, that would be nice. But as for tracking your thoughts about a profile, that's what the notes section is for, right?

It's great if like a wink on AFF. In other words, it sends a message to another couple letting them know what you thinkof them. Anthing more than that is sort of overkill.

It would be nice to see how other people rated your profile,In stead of just being private info. That what the notes are for.
