I'm sorry, but that is not statistically impossible. I am taking your report seriously and I am investigating. I have have spent several hours on this and I have not been able to find any approved events that are not showing on the calendar. If I find an example (or someone gives me one), I can report it as an issue. But if I cannot find an example, then there is no issue.

Bring back the Hot Dates......before the meltdown......when it was easy!

Wayne, The hot dates calendar does not show anything for sat, sun and mon( statistically impossible) for ALL large cities in CA, i.e. LA, San Diego, San Francisco, sacramento, fresno, Las Vegas, and reno, etc(all within 500 miles of us). My point was that your workaround does NOT work. It does NOT show any hot dates/ events on those days, therefore, it does not work. Also, why do we need to show you proof when you know that hot dates does not work, and other people have told you about it. -Beast

"I tested several loactions near you with multiple profile and no events show on those days. The calendar is telling me that there are no events within 500 miles of those locations on those days."

Because that's so unlikely as to be impossible, I checked as well and I'm showing 57 hot dates within 500 miles of Tracy, CA today. The calendar I see (I had to set it for the week, not the month) says there's one event today, but I don't see one.

@ Wayne, the work around that you suggest does not work. We are within 500 miles of every major city in CA., Las Vegas and Reno. When we change the distance to 500 miles, it shows nothing on Sat, Sun, and Mon. So you can not say that it is someone's location, nor can you say that there are no events in all of CA and Vegas and Reno on the weekends. It just doesn't work. -Beast

Can they just change the link to blind date? SLS really going to provide a “workaround” in a forum post and expect that to be OK with everyone? Expect this post to be locked in 3 - 2 - 1 lol

Wayne, I can see about 30 dates for 4/9 and 0 for tonight. There's no way that's true.

Thanks, Wayne, but there's no way that there aren't many "hot dates" near us. For example, I know that there's a party tonight in Wisconsin Dells and when I go to the group's page, it's listed there.

Yep. Today is April 10th. I set to 500 miles and I can see April 8, 9 and then 13. That kind of blows the "set to 500 miles" guidance out of the water. So... what about adding an additional level by adding a date to the search feature? Now all we can do is put in a month.

What happened to the way it used to be....before the "meltdown"?

SLS should just add an event to everyday on the calendar till its fixed.

Wayne - since not everyone wanders about in the forums, a banner explaining this officially sanctioned workaround might cut down on complaints and support tickets until the Hot Dates is fixed.

Events are displayed but not individual days. If there is no event on your day, how will we be seen?

And I know that sounds salty, but if something isn't working and there is some weird trick that makes it functional, you'd think widely letting people know about the trick would be the first step.

I did that a few months ago re bird email. My solution post was removed from Forum and workaround was disabled

@Goodgolly - This entire site has become a workaround.

Phoenix, AZ, Us

Is that a workaround that everyone knows about or do you have to just accidentally chance on it in a forum post? Because it's not much of a workaround if most people don't know about it and can't find your hot date.

At some point, the issue will be fixed. If you increase your distance out to 500 miles, you should see an "Event" link on each date and can click on that to then access the events/Hot Dates. That is a work-around until they fix the issue.

Will we ever be able to see future hot dates again? Sure is nice to try and plan
