Just to state this again. Seems like should be easy to program. Would be nice to be able to edit Hot Dates. Correct spelling errors and add additional information without having to delete and retype entire post.
Hot Dates
Idea to add to hot dates...date ranges...i.e. camping in an area from the 4th to the 9th...one hot date to cover all those dates
I believe the app has an option to edit Hot Dates, but it doesn’t work. Last time I checked it generated an error message.
@ Max ... I believe it used to be like that (I cant remember), bit then Hot Dates was "updated and upgraded"
Can we have the ability to edit hot dates or change preferences once posted without having to delete and re-post? Just a thought. M
My apologies

<p>Yes, I read your post. If you look closely at my post, you will see that I was addressing both you and EdandBritney when I made that statement. </p>
Ed & Brit, we see the same thing. The calendar seemingly has a mind of its own sometime. It used to save you set radius at one time, but no more. If you go back a page you almost always have to reset all the parameters. We’ve tried on Chrome and our Safari phone browsers. Same issue across them all. I think most don’t bother reporting and just deal with it.

<p>I am not sure why that is happening for you. I have not been able to recreate it and no one else has reported this. I have no idea if it is a site issue, a browser issue or something else. </p>
Hey just did it to me again ... looked at a profile through Hot Dates, hit the back button and was taken to the dates and events for Feb 1st ... I was on a computer using Firefox if that matters ... will email screenshots when I have time
<p>You can email a screenshot to: techsupport@swinglifestyle.com or attach it to a support ticket. I have selected and viewed multiple profile for dates on the 29th, 30th and 31st and cannot get this to happen.</p>
Aha ... it just did it to me again ... took a screenshot this time that clearly shows the bottom of the hot dates calendar from 1/29 on and the 1/1/2022 hot dates below it
Wayne ... nope thats not it ... When looking at the hot dates, the calendar is up top with the hot dates and events below it, default is the current day unless you select another day ... when I am scrolling back from viewing the profile, the date above the hot dates and events (but below the calendar) clearly said "January 1, 2022", with all the hot dates and events from that day (ppl had posted things like "Happy New year, lets keep the party going today" etc etc, so it was def 1/1/2022 dates ... doesnt seem to be doing it any more ... did it to me like 3 times in the past 4 days ... but not every time
<p>The January calander shows the first few days of February. If you click on one of those dates and view a profile and then use the back button, it will take you back to the Hot Dates calander, but since the last one you viewed was in February, it will now show the February calandar. Maybe that is what you are seeing?</p>
A new Hot Dates glitch ... been doing this the past few days ... When we look at the Hot Dates, and click on somebody's profile from there and view that profile, then when we hit the back button to go back to the Hot Dates, instead of going back to today or whatever day we were previously on like it used to, it goes back to the dates listed for Jan 1st ... doesn't do it every time though
Prime reason why we prefer to post our personal hot date on our personal profile. Would like someone to tell me what tge difference is between SLS events posted to your profile and ones we may post. As long as there’s no personal info such as phone numbers, names or locations explicitly there shouldn’t be an issue. But yeah.
Hot Dates is down again... on the weekend no less
Spot on assessment!!
I’m having same issues with hot date. Click on calendar and nothing loads, sit there for a minute and still nothing.
I've not had any issues with hot date. Other than an incredible onslaught of emails I have met a couple of nice people hence I'm very happy with the results.
<p>Something I just thught of: when you make any changes to your profile, you should always logout and log back into the site. Some things may not update until there is a new login.</p>

<p>For number 1, can you give me details or show me how to reproduce? There should be no significant delays when you update the location. </p>
Those who change zip codes often, don't expect real time responses from the site. It needs time to digest what you did, the hamster has to spin the wheel to energize the flux capacitor before your changes get made.
The listings from far away are due to an SLS database problem. We notice it too when we change locations. Actually, there are two separate problems:
1) They don't update the database fast enough. So if you change locations, the most responsive database elements are "who is on". They show almost correctly, except their distance to you on the photo is incorrectly calculated (uses your old zip code). The workaround (notice how I did not say fix) is to give it a bit of time, and usually within 24 hours, the database starts displaying the correct distances.
They also have multiple cities under the same zip code, and we noticed choosing one city or the other makes a huge difference. Not sure why it does that, but if you choose the "wrong" one, your hot date ends up being posted in Zimbabwe. Workaround is trial and error. Try each city under your zip code and post a hot date and see where it ends up. Again, once the database replicates and corrects it's indices, the problem disappears.
Messaging not working either. No worries, everything will by back to normal 3 hours ago.
I don't know if it is a Hot Date issue or if something is terribly wrong with their site but I was traveling last weekend too to Indianapolis. Half of the listings for Hot Dates popping up where in cities hundreds of miles away but SLS said they were like 14 miles away.
It is pulling up listings now but it still isn't correct. I'll search for a city, like Miami and it keeps my current location. Trying again and again and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.
