Granting ourselves permission not allowed?

<p>The Default Private Gallery works differently. It is from the original picture system and the profile owner always has access to their own default private gallery.</p>

We. just recently deleted our private gallery , then we added a photo to our private gallery and we DID not have to go to the tool settings to give our self access to our private gallery .... but we can see it .....hmm

Wayne, ever get the feeling that you just can't win sometimes?

<p>You do have to go through "Tools", "Manage Galleries" to give yourself access. On that page, edit the gallery and select the 'Permissions' button. We intentionally did it this way because people were accidentally giving themselves access (when it was easy to do) and then they would panic and think that if they could see their pictures that everyone else could.</p>

Trying to figure out why we are unable to grant ourselves permission to view our own galleries. Nothing in the TOS says its not allowed, at least not what we read, and it would be way quicker and more convenient to just open our galleries to ourselves than have to go through the menu, tools, galleries, etc. We prefer to work smarter, not harder. I know we have granted ourselves permission in the past and wonder why this is no longer allowed?
