Honestly, I almost never know when a feature will be released until it has been released and I login and see it. The administrators of this site generally do not send out any mass notifications. The last I was told was that they were trying to release it by the end of 2018, but that has come and gone.
Some email service providers are blocking our notifications from reaching you. We are working on the issue and appreciate your patience.

We also haven't had any e-mail notifications for months. The address for Customer e-mails notification was support@swinglifestyle dot com
The initial reply about no e-mail notifications from Customer service was that they were aware of the problem and working on it.
However, we did continued to still received the never ending advertisements, tips, promotions etc from various entities ending in "swinglifestyle dot com" over the last few months.
We asked again why getting the advertisements was no problem, but getting "Customer" e-mail notifications was a problem since everything appears to originate from ""swinglifestyle dot com"" .
Customer service responded that that all the advertisements etc were sent to us on a different server. That server seems to get all the ads, etc directly into our In Box with zero problems.. Obviously that must be very important to SLS to make sure we don't miss an ad, promotion, etc. However, missing contact e-mails appears not to be a problem.
We then asked customer Service, why not just change servers and give the "'Customers" their service first. The answer was ...we're working on it.
About the same answer what we heard months ago. From our perspective. Just appears the priority of Customers over advertisers is a bit misplaced.

Odd...........my e-mail providers don't seem to be blocking e-mail coming from other swinger web sites with the word "swinger" in them.............Only this one then?

Lets see, we haven't received an email notification since November. But we still get the weekly Swinger Wives advertisements.

Their reasoning for failing to send the notifications is that they're being blocked by SOME mail systems?!

Try making the notifications less spammy, make the message more custom to the email, and remove the unsubscribe link--a huge blacklist tag.

& to think we paid for this site and the truly shitty service. But at least we get to look at their Bliss and travel advertising front and center every time we log on......... you notice that never has a glitch. With that. Anyone know of a way to get that advertisement to be hidden?

External mail is still not working. Here’s a novel idea - why don’t you setup a mail server and allow SLS members to login directly to the mail account via any imap enabled mail client (like the rest of the world does).

This site is useless for reading & responding to mail in a timely fashion. Enabling communication between members should be the sites #1 priority.

Just got a reply from SLS Tech. Developers are aware of the problem. They say that various email services are blocking SLS mail forwarding and they are working on getting it resolved.

For me it is yah00 and earthlink.

I know it was delayed for a while. Now nothing. We don't tend to log on unless we have a message. I guess we need to change our approach, maybe that is the point.

Not for several weeks. Sometimes it takes 2 days or more, on the rare occasion we get the e-mail notification at all.

We just make sure we log on every day to grab the mail. We don't want couples to think we are not responding to their mail.

Anyone else not getting their external email messages? Our have not been working for a few weeks now.
