See that the banner informing of updates appears some of the time and depending where I happen to be on the site. Also, the notice on WVM announcing updates there, that is almost a year old, is still showing. This is the one Wayne said no one at HQ was aware of. Believe he said thst it was removed too.
Downtime throughout the day
Dear SLS Owners;
It is probably time for SLS to change its name. May I suggest "404Lifestyle"
Thabk you!
Wayne, I’m curious as to how a notice can go forgotten for nearly a year.
Site has quickly gotten worse since they introduced the app.
It seems to us that since the "undergoing updates" banner was posted, the issues have gotten worse. The owners/developers can't or won't commit the resources to fix these issues. They have shown that they have no interest in communicating what the issues are, and the plan to resolve them. Wayne is stuck in the middle of an obviously angry group of customers, and owners/developers who hold their customers in very low regard.
So on the home page on the website, not the mobile app, I see that a new ad banner has been added-- gold foil cards on Amazon Prime...if that is what this was all about, I can see some folks going absolutely ballistic......
Awesome to know the "developers" apparently don't ever actually look at or use the site. Explains a lot.
The notification on the viewed me page was an annoyance. How about some truthful answers as to why there are constant functional issues with the site and app? Submitting support tickets does no good other than to get a response of "we're working on it." Tickets I've submitted 2 yrs ago are still issues today.
Is it your hosting? Change providers. Is it your developers? Change developers. It's it both? Change both.
There are no valid reasons why a site with this much exposure should be constantly plagued with problems.
So... How about it? Truthful answer as to why SLS is in a constant state of half or non-function?

I reported that to the developer so they can remove the message. We did not know it was still there. It was removed from the Home Page Who Viewed Me area.

They've had the notice in the "Who Viewed Me" link saying "Over the next couple of days, we will be updating the Who Viewed Me feature. New views will show, older views prior to July 21 are being slowly restored." for nearly a year. The new upgrade banner doesn't say which day, so I guess it covers all days.
So... That notification has been up for over a week. I think they should permanently display a variant of that message. "Users will experience a lot of downtime for as long as they use the site.". The issues I've experienced with the site have been issues for as long as I've been a member (this couples' account and my older, single account. Throughout the "fixes" and "upgrades" and "resolutions" over the years and promises that "we are aware and are working to resolve".... Can't say I've ever seen anything actually get fixed. Temporary work-arounds, perhaps. But never an actual resolution and whatever issue always returns.
