Approving pics broken?

We are only getting the general picture approval and not the personal picture approval that we had before. Is the personal picture approval system still in development for lifetime members?

I will say the one of the criteria is odd. It says headless pics aren't child safe. There's lots of pics that are otherwise fully inocent, fully clothed pics that now would not be child safe. Basically, the only child safe pics are ones that show at least the face. Can you enlighten us Wayne?

We just get a message that our access has been denied due to inaccuracy... lol. What the hell is that? We were taking time to actually go over pics for any discrepancies that would categorize an image as it should be (IE: nudity, sex act, close up, PG, etc.) and we’re now blocked for that??? Whatever... I can only laugh it off especially when I see some of the stuff that gets through.

Wayne - Not sure if you've seen it but when one tries to navigate from the Pic approval page using the menu on the left, the menu shows up faint and you can't select any link. One has to click the sls logo in the top right, go back to home and then navigate from there.

<p>That is probably due to the backlog. I have seen dozens of people uploading the same picture 20 or 30 times because they were not getting approved. That is probably a different copy of the same picture they uploaded. Just go ahead and approve it again if the picture is ok.</p>

I've approved more pictures, and I'm still getting the same pic to approve. It's not back to back, but it's absolutely the same pic. It's happening on multiple accounts.

<p>The upgrade as I understand it was migrating the pictures to new hardware. It took longer than expected and there have been some glitches. Most of it is working now, but Sandy and I had a backlog of over 10,000 pictures to process. I believe the public and personal are done. We still have around 5000 private to approve. I am trying to get those done, but it will take time. </p>

<p>There is a current issue where when you upload a picture, it shows as 'Pending' until it is approved and then disappears. The picture was approved and is there, so please do not keep re-uploading it or you may end up with multiple copies of the picture showing once fixed. They said they would try to get that corrected by the end of today or tomorrow.</p>

<p>I see that the Lifetime approval page has a delay that is annoying. I will check into that. For the time being, please be careful and wait. If you rate too many of them wrong due to the lag, the auotmated system may remove your access and there is no way to override that (at least, no way that I have access to).</p>

I took a minute to approve the 14 pics showing in the queue. I got to approve 16 or 17 because I approved the same picture at least twice during the process.

That shouldn't happen. I shouldn't be able to approve the same picture more than once.

So....when is this issue going to be resolved?

I just recently tried to approve photos again after being off for years and now it just says access removed for lack of accuracy? Just figured they needed help after taking a while to get my own pictures approved. Haven’t approved pictures in probably 15 years here. I hear a few people have received that error, not sure what the problem is

Yup my opinion on the website as a whole is very low, every "upgrade" they try to do makes the experience worse. I've had photos waiting for approval for nearly a week.

Just a thought for next year - maybe don't do this type (or any type) of 'upgrades' at a time when you have (hopefully) so many new members joining. I cannot imagine a worse piece of the puzzle for this type of site to have broken at the beginning of the year.

I tried uploading my several times went as far as reducing the size to 1024x768 as per the help page instructions and vanished every time. There is no reason for the pic to be rejected, there is nothing lewd about it. thanks

Same here I've had public pics disappear while waiting for approval... Glad I checked the Forums. Thanks and Happy New Year!

We can't post any pics. When I've uploaded pics, they show waiting for approval, as expected. Then shortly afterward they just totally disappear.

These are PG public pics, I don't see any reason for rejection - and if they are rejected, it would be nice to get some kind of notification.

Just logged into the app to see if maybe users on the app had access to the picture approval page; it doesn’t even have the ability. So who has access and is approving the uploads?

We've just created an account and for the last two days we cannot seem to upload photos on the app, or when we get them uploaded cannot get them approved.

I was hoping maybe it was just the app but seems like the whole website is having issue. Hopefully it gets resolved. No body wants to play or talk until we have photos up.

Yes, Picture count keeps changing, so someone must be approving them.
