We live in Leesburg Florida in a retirement community on 27 and 48. We are not aware of any lifestyle people that may live here. If we express that we might be we are shunned, and labeled as undesirable people. Personally I do not care what people think but, it makes me feel uncomfortable. However if there may be a possibility of play, we hate to pass up an opportunity. I know I have spoken about this in other forums, any more advice would be helpful.

"Don't shit where you eat" is a blunt expression of risk. I'd heed it, especially since the possibility of hidden swingers that you can't find except by having conversations that could get you shamed and shunned is nearly zero.
If your neighbors are in the lifestyle, they'll be here or on one of the other swinger sites.
I'm not part of a couple living in a retirement community so maybe I can't give advice. But what I have done with women I am dating was bring up the subject by saying something like, I saw a movie where two couples swapped spouses and had sex. Do think people really do that? Would you ever try it?
If they come up with a crucifix and demand the demon leave my body,I know not to ask again. But if they are either into it, or would consider it, I already have the conversation started.
Don’t know about advice but we’re In the same situation and we live on an island. Here everyone knows everyone and also we would be shunned if they knew. But we keep trying to meet visitors if possible but even that is scarce nowadays
