Too many certifications?

Thanks everyone for all the honest feedback. It's greatly appreciated.

I don't contact anyone, but if contacted by someone(s) with 20-50 certs, I'd turn them down. I don't mind slutty, but I do mind hoarding and/or refusal to clear out old stuff.

It's a thing that how we do anything says something about how we do everything. And whatever the reason for collecting and keeping that many certs, it doesn't bode well for good sex.

We freely admit to having a weird double standard about this. We want to see certs but if someone has 20+, it does give us pause. We cull our certs periodically to keep the number under 10, even though we openly admit we are sluts. Picky sluts but sluts none the less.

I guess our message is we want real people who are selective and having 3-8 certs says that to us.

When I was on here as a SM, I tried to stay around 10 certs, deleting older ones or when a couple or SF were no longer active. More than that, I felt, made me look like a bed-hopper.

This is strictly personal opinion and as the saying goes, YMMV.

I understand everyone sets up their profile to their liking. My question was, does it matter if a couple/single has a lot of certifications? In other. words if you are viewing a profile and found 20 or 50 plus certifications, would this make a difference if you contact them or not?

Honestly, I keep mine under 10 because GGMM suggested it to me when she reviewed my profile. I respect her and value her advice.

Another site we are on only indicates if you are certified real by someone else- I don't even think it says who verifies that you are a real person/couple. You are either a certified person/couple or you're not, there is no statement about how fun you are, what you did, how you met the person(s) certifying you, etc., etc.

I would never have more than three or four certs. It's enough to reassure people that I'm probs not a catfisher, but also doesn't splash my business around.

I'm not from Minnesota, but my ex and I did go on one of those cruises. Didn't collect a single cert, even though we earned 1...3...some large number. It also convinced me that while I like small boats, not so much with the giant ones.

Vel You said you keep your certifications under 10. Is there a reason you do this? I have talked to others that limit the amount of certs on their profile also. Just wanting to see why that is?
Thanks

For the record, we're from Minnesota and we've never been on a cruise.

If I can't fish off of it, water ski behind it, or drive it, I see no reason to spend more than an hour on a boat.

We feel that a couple of certs are good even if they are old it helps to give the viewer a little more confidence that they are real...

We still think there should be some kind of check in point at M&Gs, Events or even house parties where someone can take the couples photo and give them a certification of some sort to confirm who they are.....

We try to keep ours under 10. Once in a while you see people with 50+ certs. I think they are usually the people who live in Minnesota and do cruises once a year so they really let loose.

I only view certs as they were intended to be view, and that is to confirm that the cert giver has personally met the one receiving the cert.

From that point of view, a large number of certs only means that the person(s) in question has met a lot of other folks. Not a negative thing in my book.

Other people here may read other things into it, but I’m a simple guy, so I keep it simple.

I'm not sure if this topic has been covered already? If so, I do apologize.
When viewing a profile, does it matter if the couple/single has a lot of certifications? Lets just say a number of 20 plus certs on their profile. I'm not talking about a club owner's profile or someone that hosts a lot of house parties because they usually have many certs. Does it turn you off or on to see a profile with many certifications?
