Single males posing as a couple

You can pretty much eliminate the problem by refusing to text, kik, or give access to photos in any way except through opening your gallery of face pics. You can eliminate the rest by noting the similarities in the profiles of those you're pretty sure are solo men (they're unlikely to be single, actually, more like wannabe swingers who can't imagine talking to their wives about their desires) and then avoiding comparable profiles.

I'm pretty rigid about not video chatting or talking on the phone, because I can't be bothered, and bonus, I've found those who insist on it are unlikely to be a good match anyway (it's a personality thing). Just thought I'd give you another data point to consider.

Never wrong to ask for what you need to feel comfortable. Just don't get upset if the other party doesn't feel comfortable providing what you ask for. Move on and find another.

We have to be honest in saying that this is a perfect thread topic. We were surprised after signing up for the site how deceiving most of the people are. We hit on only a few good ones that we were able to verify by video chat and actually meeting. We always knew about "catfish", for some reason we just didn't expect the lengths that some people will go on this website. We are learning the "red flags" in the profiles quickly.

They probably aren't single males posing as couples, they are probably men trying to get the female half to swing.

I usually just send the female half my phone number, if she won't talk, we move on.

Hi. Weve been quite frustrated with the amount of couples that turn out to be single males. They want to text and ask for pics and their females are not available to chat. Is it wrong to ask for voice verify or face pics before meeting or going on kik? We don’t want to be rude but we are looking for a couple.
