Profile Review Request

If you do not mind some free, non-profile advice, I am a 64 year old single male and I never had any luck with a profile. You need to meet people in person.
Try the groups section. Join any group in your area that you think you fit in. Some groups will have parties or meet and greets that are either open to anyone or you can ask to attend.
Try events. You will see hot dates and various other events listed there that you might want to attend.
I have been here for three years and none of the groups in my area have ever had a party or meet and greet. Maybe the groups will be more active in your area.
You can also find swing clubs listed here and you can ask in the forums if anyone knows of one in your area. Many do not allow single men, but there might be some in your area that do. Closest club to me is two hours away in another state.
It was also suggested that I try Fetlife. They are more BDSM than swinging so you might meet a woman who wants you to impale her with saltwater fish hooks while having sex, but at least they have meet and greets in my area regularly and anyone can attend most of them . So, at least you are meeting people. When they get to know you they will invite you to play parties. Maybe the woman with the fish hooks will know someone normal and introduce you.
Anyway. That is my advice based on my experience .

MsMolly is right - 21-99 makes me feel like you didn't ignore the age preference plus you won't have to update it every year or two. ;-)

Taglines don't take periods at the end and yours would be improved if you removed it and the preceding two words.

Change your age range to 21-99. It takes care of PAW's criticism that 18-99 looks like laziness and substitutes the impression of tolerance and wide interests. If someone too old for you reaches out, you can just decline politely.

Then fix this one: "For entertainment I love a hanging out and playing Cards Against Humanity as I can be truly horrible though I enjoy many other card and board games as well."

I made my bulletproof child throw up in his mouth, so I totally identify with being horrible in CAH, but let's let people discover that aspect of our personalities gradually. So ...Humanity and enjoy, etc. instead. Also, it's not "a hanging out."

Other than that, you just need to fix the pic situation. Good luck and don't get discouraged, because it's tough connecting on line. Find parties and clubs that accept single guys if you can, which will up your odds.

Didn't see the "before", but the "after" looks OK. There was a place or two that a comma would make it more readable, but otherwise the content looked OK and pretty much answers the questions the profile sections ask.

Wow - you really turned that around - good job!

Just be aware that you'll have to manually adjust your age every year. You're already close to the top of your age preference so you'll want to adjust that upward every year or so as well. Being near the center of your age preference range is a better look than too close to either limit. ;-)

Yes, I'm a Product Owner and work with software devs/engineers so I often gravitate towards lists.

Thanks for your feedback, I appreciate it and have updated my age preferences as you suggested. I'm hoping my profile update from yesterday posted after you reviewed my profile as I believe it's much more of a narrative now.

I think we had list in one of the older iterations of our profile.

And I am in engineering.

I haven't looked and I suck at profile advice, but lists could also be indicative of a pilot or a kid in a candy store. (Oooh, jelly beans....)

MsMolly gave you a lot of specific advice so I'll just add - please turn your lists into a narrative.

You also might want to refine your age preferences - leaving the defaults always makes me think the writer is lazy or will fuck anyone (or both).

Hi. Congratulations on producing a decent profile and then coming here to see if you can make it better. I'm still going to critique it, but I didn't want my appreciation for the work you've done to not come through.

First, you have a great smile and it will serve you well. When you get a chance, unless that blousy shirt you're wearing in your default actually fits better than your posted weight suggests, maybe take more photos in unwrinkled clothes that are more fitted. Same smile though.

Your tagline, the thing that entices others to open your profile and learn more about you, is too informative. I think you could usefully repurpose the last line in Additional comments though, because it just has a nice tang to it.

Looking For could be better. Full sentences, better structure, more focus on the actual people you're looking for. Like, what you have is informative, but it's a lot drier than you'd want in an invitation to come play with you.

Description similarly needs a rethink, but in this case it's pruning instead of expansion that would be the improvement. Your stats and looks are already in your toggles, so they can go. I also find discussion of your ex to be a bit of a red flag. You're separated and no longer live together, so they're no longer a topic of conversation except among close couple friends.

Instead of what you have, I'd suggest turning the part beginning with you working from home and ending before you get to discussion of your former spouse into a paragraph or two. If you must say that you're discreet, please spell it correctly (not a dig, but I'd leave it out altogether, along with "professional," a suggestion I'll explain only if requested) and separate it from "educated."

In Fantasies, the last line can go. This is you talking to yourself, basically, even though you think you're being informative. It's also unnecessary since you've pretty much handled the section well up until that part.

In Additional comments, I hope you steal the last line for the tagline and eliminate the first one. Which leaves you with a blank section, which isn't ideal (why waste a single opportunity to market yourself?). I'd use the first sentence of Description here, maybe ending with a second sentence as well. So long as you end on a high note, you're good.

Other than that, mentioning politics is a turn off even for some who share your viewpoint. So, consider whether that's necessary to you. Also, you need to have multiple blank lines between paragraphs in order to have one blank line. So do that to improve readability, please.
