One clearly can see that the fora aren’t what they used to be when a thread emerges to discuss single men being penal-ized and not a single asshat remark ensues.

First off, we go to a LOT of LS parties and I've never even heard of, much less witnessed the prostitute scenario. I suppose anything is possible, like getting struck by lightning ;-)

As for the cost of SMs versus SFs, that's simply supply and demand at work. Not all places allow SFs to get in free but they will generally pay less than SMs simply because there are so many SMs in the LS.

As for the couples acting like singles, be careful what you wish for because it's the Mrs in single-mode that tend to get the SMs laid. I suppose you could say she's using the SMs, but have not heard one complain yet ;-)
