New members, any advice?

So we're noticing a number of people using the private button on our profile.
This button sends an automated message requesting to see your private pics. Though we think it's a neat feature, we have decided not to respond to these messages. We feel that it's just lazy and disingenuous. It's not hard to say hi we like what we see, wed like to see more.
Just our thoughts on that. Maybe it'll help newcomers.

We do not get a high percentage of replies to emails sent. Nor do we get very many people contacting us. Lots of lookers, though. We tried the profile help section but the changes we made didn't really help any. As was mentioned, replies come and go. We are also on another site and it seems that the number of contacts bounces between the 2 sites. Activity varies. We have decided that there are not as many real swingers as there are wannabes, or guys on here looking at pictures with a wife that will not play.

Just give it some time. I mentioned in another thread that for us sls seems to come and go in waves. a few months of activity and then a few months of nothing. As far as your profile goes I like it. short and to the point. Plus i give you HUGE credit for showing face pics.

Well, I would first would expect that you would have to temper your expectations because of your location. This site has actually lost traffic in your area over the past few years which also would compound your problems. Most shifted to another one due to some policy changes. There are a few active ones left on here about an hours drive or so from you all. Go ahead and start a thread in the better profiles section and listen to what people have to say.

Hi, wife and i have been in lifestyle for some time now. We had started a profile years ago and had some luck, but decided to take a break. just started up a profile and want to get back into lifestyle. However we haven't been getting a lot of replys, even a simple not interested would be appreciated. Not sure if it is since we just started our profile, or its our profile itself. Any help or advice would be appreciated.
