Email frustration

Only for six years? Why have a profile for six years if you are not trying to meet people?

y'all are rough. these people have only been on the site for 6 years, give them a break, they are just learning and getting around to doing the profile up right

The first thing you must realize is that 90% of the people are not real. Those of us that are real have to fish for those profiles that are real people and real swingers.

Your profile needs to be more detailed showing that you are one of the few real swingers on this site and that meeting you would be for sex if everyone clicked.

OP, I believe people can preview email without having to actually open it. If I get an email I usually check a profile next. Again, that can be done without opening the email.

While we might take a chance, many would not based on your profile. Some will also not respond rather than send a rejection email.

Also, this is like a coin toss. Though unlikely, it is possible to flip heads 3 or 4 times in a row. Updating your profile will help bend the odds in your favor that you'll have more success.

Otherwise my standard advice applies, which is to seek out and attend local LS parties rather than rely on online interactions.

I just thought of something. Are you emailing free members? Free members can no longer read or send emails so they couldn’t reply even if they wanted to.

Scamp, all true. But, there are valid reasons for that. With that said we have been routinely receiving messages over the years. Especially since we will play with single guys, we were getting multiple messages a day. As we indicated we ALWAYS reply to email, guess we assume everyone else is an adult too. Guess not.

We hadn't even looked at the profile but rabbit is right.

This probably belongs in the website forum but with no pics on the profile why does their icon indicate 3 pics?

I just looked at your profile and have to say that we would send you a rejection email and the only reason you would get that is because we make it a point to reply to all emails.

You have no pictures, no certs and very little info in your profile despite being on the site since 2012.

With so little work put into your profile I have to imagine you don’t send decent emails eaither.

You are fishing with no bait. You shouldn’t be surprised you aren’t getting any nibbles.

What Scamp said...the only caveat we would add is to check when the receiver was last on the site. Sometimes we get distracted by life and don't log in for a few days.

If they've been on the site since you sent the note they are likely not interested and don't care or don't know how to tell you. Chalk it up to a no and follow Scamp's advice.

This is not a new phenomenon, it’s been this way for at least the dozen or so years I’ve been around the site.

There is a preview where paid members can read an email without opening it so it never gets triggered as being read.

Which means they read it and chose not to reply. You can take that to mean they aren’t interested and perhaps work on your email writing skills and make sure that you’ve read their profile and tailored your email to them specifically and not sent a spam copy and paste one liner.

New phenomenom seem to be occurring, at least for us. We have sent 3 emails over the past couple weeks to different people. All 3 show unread unreplied. Are we just finding rude people or something else going on?
