I understand .
USAID
@fun: I have strong opinions on certain subjects. So, I tend to use the "uzi-vending machine" example pretty often. It's a bad example, because it's too generic..
However, the notion that a certain person in this forum is on equal footing as the referenced DOGE hirees that are currently sifting through the system... that is kinda funny..
And you get that from where?
His posts on an anonymous swingers site?
You are a special kinda stupid...
UZIs , out of vending machines ……LOL …
Awesome. You are a SME. I'll accept that at face value. By the exact same value in my world I state that every gun law is an infringement. As the state has recognized me as a subject matter expert. So .. you and I stand on equal footing.. we should be able to get fully automatic Uzi's out of vending machines.
@SN , the only thing you have a phd in is BS …dime a dozen . These guys will run circles around you and your friends. . Do t try to mess with Big Balls LOL
So yeah, I think I'm qualified to criticize his code.
Bro. you aint even anywhere close to those guys and your ass never will. That is 1000% fact.
Now you are a coder? That's impressive!!
You know, I have a phd in physics. We use computers heavily. I've been coding in C++ for 20 years now. I've probably in my lifetime written over a million lines of code? Never counted, but it's a lot. Also quite proficient in Python, which I've been using a lot more recently since a lot of the AI API's are accessible in Python.
So yeah, I think I'm qualified to criticize his code.
Hey, I'm not asking you to believe me. You can get first-hand accounts from the employees themselves:
https://www reddit com/r/fednews/comments/1imfy76/anyone_else_receiving_phishing_msgs_to_their_work/
You'll see post after post of people saying they went from perhaps 1 phishing attempt a day, to a 10x increase right after the DOGE breach.
Whoa.... I actually went on one of these dude's github and checked out their code. It was very amateurish.
Now you are a coder? That's impressive!!
@SN , do you think I believe ANYTHING you say the kids are brilliant.
"> Don’t these people realize , these people with Musk are geniuses . With computers they are the most advanced in the world ."
Not someone whose posts I read, but I'm guessing it's Mickey, funfor or someone, who probably believe more in the Easter Bunny and the essential goodness of Donald Trump than in gravity.
Regardless, I'm not sure if I'm more amused or sad that someone would so willingly accept this giant pile of steaming bullshit.
Don’t these people realize , these people with Musk are geniuses . With computers they are the most advanced in the world .
Whoa.... I actually went on one of these dude's github and checked out their code. It was very amateurish.
Now there are reports that since they installed insecure computers, federal employees are getting tons of spam and phishing attacks to their email and work phones. The phone thing had never happened before! Only started after DOGE did their "work."
"The cat musta had its paw on your CapsLock key."
Oh.... The "real" cat.
FUN.. the gig is up, slush funds, BS corporations and really as someone else said its MONEY LAUNDERING.. always follow the money!
Yes its OUR TAX dollars and never agreed to all the outside BS they give too.. how about take care of our own in N Carolina, LA fires, who need it, or return my tax money for all this FOOLISH spending... as my homeowners, health and auto all went up drastically without ONE Claim on all!
Don’t these people realize , these people with Musk are geniuses . With computers they are the most advanced in the world . But also realize they were chosen for this project for the challenge and their loyalty. ..If they wanted to steal they could have did it a long time before.
Wonder who oh who will buy up those farms, when the owners, can’t pay the taxes?
I'm wondering when the MAGAts will realize that when Beavis and Butthead shuttered USAID, they hurt American farmers worse than any "libs" that they were aiming for?
The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) is not just a global humanitarian force—it’s also a critical economic engine for American farmers. Each year, the agency funnels billions of dollars into purchasing U.S.-grown crops, stabilizing rural economies and shaping agricultural markets. But which states and crops benefit most from this federal spending? Let’s crunch the numbers.
USAID’s Farm Spending: By the Numbers
USAID spends approximately $2 billion annually on U.S. agricultural commodities for humanitarian aid programs like Food for Peace and Food for Progress (1,2). These purchases focus on staple crops such as wheat, sorghum, lentils, peas, rice, and vegetable oil, which are shipped to food-insecure regions like Somalia, Ukraine, and Venezuela (1, 3).
In 2024 alone, USAID bought:
200,000 metric tons of wheat (valued at $65 million) (2).
$70 million in sorghum, wheat, and peas from Minnesota-based vendors like Cargill and CHS Inc. (2).
$950 million in a single agreement with USDA to buy wheat, rice, sorghum, lentils, and beans for emergency aid (1).

“ This is all a distraction to rile up the base while Musk and his band of misfits raid the US coffers.”
Yep, I’m sure that’s what it is! You know what you don’t know.

Under the Biden administration, USAID awarded $20 million to a nonprofit called Sesame Workshop to produce a show called "Ahlan Simsim Iraq" in an effort to "promote inclusion, mutual respect, and understanding across ethnic, religious, and sectarian groups."
"As Iraq recovers from years of conflict, communities struggle to find a new sense of normalcy while physical and emotional wounds remain," an archived link to USAID's website reads. "The legacy of Iraq’s conflict with the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) left many children without a stable home or displaced, especially those from Iraq’s ethnic and religious minorities. Additionally, Iraqi youth, who make up over half of the population, are unable to find jobs in an economy strained by war and corruption, creating vulnerabilities to radicalization."
