I know the directive for the federal government to buy EV's came from Biden, but these were funds that had not been paid out yet, so I think this was a recent decision (but am not sure).

In any case, first, changing the text to hide Tesla is not transparency. Second, Elon should recuse himself from anything to do with the State Dept since he has an obvious conflict of interest, but of course he won't do that. Because corrupt people gonna corrupt.

If you would bother to read AND understand the article, as well as read other articles about this..... it's not what it looks like. It's actually a Biden era request to provide the DOD with up-armoted E-vehicles . Part of the "inflation reduction act" (the new green deal). And Tesla only gets a portion of the money, the rest goes to contractors to finish making them bulletproof (glass mostly).

If you knew anything, you'd know that the cyber truck is probably the cheapest new option to bullet proof a new vehicle.

Well, elmo is so sure it's fraud that he's shouting it out to the whole world on his $44 billion megaphone (or maybe it's only $8B now). If it's so obvious, it should be easy to prosecute. Just trace the payments to these double or even no SSN fraudsters, either to the bank or mailbox. Get the local police to make an arrest, and make that person verify their eligibility. If not, put them in the slammer. It's not rocket science...

Anyway, my common sense tells me not to believe any of these "allegations" of fraud, especially since these allegations are NEVER followed up with any real prosecutions.

Well, you know, Elmo has been saying a lot of things like USAID is a criminal organization. If that were so, why is he telling us? He's got the ENTIRE Dept of Justice to use, now that he's the president.

If there really were $100B of fraudulent payments, these payees all have addresses and bank accounts. I would think it would be super easy to round them up, and prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law. I would 100% back that, since I'm a taxpayer too, and I don't want my taxes being fraudulently taken.

Want to make a bet that Elmo doesn't refer any of these to the DOJ? Because you know, this evidence of fraud will have the Republican politicians blowing their loads so fast and hard, you can bet there will be Fox cameras in every one of those fraudsters faces as the cops beat these cheats down. Why isn't this happening?

So far, what I've been seeing is Elmo blowing a lot of smoke up people's asses, and not real convictions. Fraud is criminal, and there should be justice meted out.
