As Hillary Clinton said last week “ I think it would be a plan to use a war in Ukraine to weaken Russia “ Yes let’s keep a war going or in reality a killing fields by the west of hope that someday Ukraine can join NATO .
Ukraine must remain neutral .
Sedition
How much of that aid is going to. THE BIG GUY ?
Guess who is blocking the aid to Ukraine?
Bwahahaha...your problem..
Sard
Typical smart ass comment by you. The need to hurl insults instead of providing your source underscores that you are once again throwing shit out there and hoping it sticks. You threw it out there, back it up, I am not going to do your work for you
While I am not sure of the motives for the republicans blocking it. I would not want it to pass. I suspect their motive is political, mine is pragmatic.
I learned from Frankie, the owner of Plato's a LONG time ago a valuable lesson. I had done some work for Plato's. Frankie wanted to figure out how to get more people into the club on Friday. Friday was SM night. My econ training basically made me go to the supply/demand curve and find the optimal price. The optimal price was less than what he was charging. So I suggested he lower the price of entry for SM. I might as well as have called his mother a cunt. He ripped me apart. He was RIGHT. His statement was, "Once you lower the prices, you can never raise them again." While that was not literally correct, the message was very accurate. If he lowered the prices, being able to raise the prices and keep the same number of clients was going to be very hard.
If the US wipes the 18 cents per gallon tax on fuel, how will they (1) replace the funds (2) be able to raise it back, (3) let alone raise it further in the future?
U can't read ..or the comprehension suffers: Google gas tax holiday let me know what you find..
Sard, cite your source please
Lowering gas tax bill.. blocked by republicans.
SN , there is a CNN description I posted about TDS in that thread . See if you recognize any symptoms, and I also asked where I have lied , you accused me , now back it up !
I didn't reply to those so-called corrections because they were pretty weak. Nothing you said changed anything. Those people said what they said, and even in the context you provided the original meaning is still clear. They praised Putin, and didn't give a rats ass what happens to a freedom loving people like those who live in Ukraine.
SN , it’s funny but yesterday I corrected content that seemed to leave out on 3 statements to fit your narrative or you just believe everything your source tells you , They have lied to you for 5 years.
SN , tell me where I lied , please !
@Clyde, no one seems to have been able to get you to STFU even though you spew lie after lie... So I think Freedom of Speech is fairly safe here. It isn't even remotely like the situation in Russia, where the ex-KGB now Czar Putin is the only one who can even speak. Every single outlet is state controlled... even down to what they teach the kids.
As for investigating the spread of mis-information here, what's wrong with it? Freedom of speech doesn't mean you can hide behind what you say... everyone should know who says what, except in very limited cases. We already know who are the people telling everyone to get vaccinated, they're out in the open about it. The other chicken-shits spreading lies are often hiding. What are they hiding? BTW, the speech of foreigner IS NOT PROTECTED here. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if 50% of the crap being spread these days come from Russians and Chinese propaganda mills, and they SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED HERE. Actually, George Washington was very much against foreigners meddling in American affairs, and I am in total agreement with him.
Psaki Says White House is “Deeply Concerned” About Threat to Freedom of Speech in Russia After Country Blocks Access to Facebook
Hmm , The White House doesn’t seem concerned about it happening here .
There was no mention of that in the SOTU. Wonder where the outrage is?
Biden’s Surgeon General Launches Latest Crusade to Purge Dissent – Orders Big Tech to Provide the Federal Government on Those Spreading COVID “Misinformation”
Looks like we’re not to far behind Russia .
Onehell,
I have a military friend whose wife's father died in an Army training accident in Georgia. I didn't say father in-law cuz she was a kid when it happened and they were not married....
Anyways, the family fought for years. The govt dragged it out, they have more lawyers, time and money.... Family won million dollar case, never saw a nickel due to decades of litigation.
Here lemme give you some news: The Duma now passed a law that anyone spreading fake news will go 15y in the gulag. What is fake news: any news not approved by Moscow. All independent news channels have gone off air. All satelite channels Facebook tweeter and telegram are now blocked. Radio channels like BBC Reuters and Voice of America are also blocked. Military regime is expected to take over government and they were supposed to issue martial law today. Go ahead tell me more about how great Putin is.
So we're clear, Putin worshiping and sympathizing with the Russian aggression opposes democracy and core American values. Freedom and self-determination still matter.
EA
Blah blah blah.
"Oh it is right, you took that out of context as I said he did not mention it in his SOTU but made sure to mention Beau and his military service
Nice try on your spinning it though"
So the outrage is what? That he mentioned his kid? If that is the outrage, why are you tying the 13 dead to that? That is not relevant. Here, let me form the sentence that you wanted to say :)
"Fucking Biden. That god damn asshole. What the fuck! He spent time during the STOU talking about his dead kid. FUCK HIM."
There ya go.
Much better.
But when you keep trying to tie things in . . . then backtrack on it. Well . . . that is spinning. Hopefully the room is not spinning for you still.
“ Fatal ground vehicle accidents during Army training are down, but top brass warn that they're still the top risk to soldiers.
Twenty soldiers died during on-duty incidents during fiscal 2021, which ended Sept. 30, according to an upcoming safety report from the service's Combat Readiness Center. The center showed Military dot co m an early draft of the report under the condition that the full document not be published in advance of its release later this month.
Nine deaths occurred on the ground in separate mishaps; there were also 11 deaths in three separate aviation crashes. That's four less than in 2020, when training came to a screeching halt due to the pandemic, and six less than in 2019, though aircraft flew 90,000 fewer hours this year compared to before the pandemic.
Nonetheless, the Army is concerned about the continued pace of casualties tied to accidents.
"Ground vehicle mishaps are the number one killer of our soldiers," Brig. Gen. Andrew Hilmes, commander of the Army's Combat Readiness Center and director of Army safety, told Military dot co m in an interview.
While leaders attribute the decline in fatal incidents to a greater emphasis on safety, the Army is still on track to lose an average of almost two soldiers per month to on-duty vehicle incidents -- a number that far outpaces most years of combat fatalities over the last decade. In October, just after the start of fiscal 2022 and not included in the draft report, Pfc. Patrick Hernandez, 30, died at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, in an incident involving a Humvee on a major road. Four other soldiers were hospitalized.
Hilmes said when he took on studying vehicle incidents he expected the fatalities to occur during complex combat training, at night, while weapons were being fired. But instead of chaotic environments, most fatal vehicle accidents take place with just one or two vehicles during relatively safe conditions.
Sounds like poorly executed safety measures and training.
This wasn’t mentioned either.
“ Pentagon released data that disclosed that 163 military members committed suicide in the third quarter (Q3) of 2021, with 70 active duty members, 56 reserve members, and 37 National Guard members.”
This wasn’t mentioned in the SOTU address either. Where is the outrage?
Oh it is right, you took that out of context as I said he did not mention it in his SOTU but made sure to mention Beau and his military service
Nice try on your spinning it though
