1) The Mueller report basically says that the Trump campaign was too stupid to know they were breaking the law. An advantage white collar criminals get that poor people don't.

2) There are 14 previously unknown indictments, 12 redacted .

I think that was out of context. That statement was probably surrounded by discussions about North Korea. I think Bush Jr also stated that NK was the biggest concern.

I am not trying to defend Obama or Trump in this scenario. This is a contextual issue.

You are Obama. You have been working for a long time and finally get a deal with Iran. You need Russia to sign off on it. What do you do?
You are Obama. You have this Syria thing. You need to get Russia to not be so cozy there. What do you do?
You are Obama. You have this Russia meddling thing. What do you do?

Now replace Obama with Trump's name.

You are Trump. You have been preaching you can get peace in the middle east because your Jewish son-in-law is somehow Gandhi/God/Mohammed all in one. You need Russia to help this happen. What do you do?

I do not know the mindset of Obama nor do I profess to know what exactly transpired. It is not that far fetched to say, "Let Russia buy ads and try and persuade. As long as they do not get into machines and haxxor them, we are OK. We need them for NK, Iran, and other things. Our democracy will survive their attacks, but the world will not survive the nukes."

As I have mentioned politics is about leverage and it's also about trading. It would not surprise me to see that Obama has done this and that Trump is doing the same. It would also not surprise me to see that Trump is pushing the Iran oil sanctions as a means to pay back Russia, but for what, that is the unknown. Russia will get the benefit of the Iranians oil embargo. Last I looked into this, I think Russia produced 10% of the oil the world uses and Iran was top 3 (?) in OPEC.

I remember Obama laughing when Romney said Russia was a the biggest threat. The intelligence community under Obama seriously dropped the ball on Russia hacking.

I agree with PHX. Nothing will become of any of this. There will be plenty of hearings. No one will end up too much for the worse after all is said and done.

Always interesting to watch the Sunday Shows. After this past Sunday I still conclude, as I always have, no way the Shirts will introduce Article's of Impeachment. Will they intimate? Will they threaten? Will they walk right up to the line? LOL of course they will. Why get that close and not follow through? A) They need to occupy the news cycle with Bad Trump narrative. B) They need to keep the small dollar donations flowing. C) It occupies Congressional bandwidth so they can't work on any Economic Initiatives.

So get prepared for lots of hearings. More press releases. More threats of actions that will be postmarked with a date for a future date. Articles of Impeachment? Not going to happen. You watch....in a few months the narrative will change. The revised narrative will be less of Impeach Now and more of we need a Shirt President to ensure this (however they define this) will never happen again.
