Alan Dershewitz of Harvard Law School says on T V last night:
Although many on the left have expressed their approval of Robert Mueller being appointed as special counsel to investigate possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia, Alan Dershowitz thinks Mueller could actually vindicate President Donald Trump, rather than bring about his downfall.
On "Tucker Carlson Tonight," Dershowitz, a legal scholar and Harvard University Law School professor, said he doesn't see a crime that necessitated the appointment of a special counsel.
He explained that it would not be criminal, even if it happened, for the Trump campaign to have collaborated with the Russians in an effort to get their candidate elected.
"That's political wrongdoing, but it's just not a crime," Dershowitz said. "Nobody can point me to a statute that would be violated. And a prosecutor is only allowed to look for evidence of a federal crime."
Ok- New talking points after today's testimony. Might have not been collusion, but was unknowingly compromised by the Russians.
Next week will be wasn't compromised, but he obstructed.

Democrats insist that Trump was, maybe is, in collusion with Russian Ministers, and even other Russian Boogiemen. Republicans believe that Hillary made deals with Russia, when she was Secretary of state, such as when she sold 20% of our supply of Uranium to the Russians - and more! If Russia really wanted to weaken the USA, what better way than by creating as much extra dissention between our two basic Parties as possible. Get us so wrapped up in our axels pissing on each other that all we do is fight each other. Absolutely no good or productive legislation will be passed, and we languish into spending all our time destroying each other. What better way to get us fighting each other, much more than normal, than to make each side think the other side is somehow screwing them via some kind of collusion with Russia. Well, Putin's strategy is working. Look at us! What a bunch of DIMWITS we are, and led into the mess by our outstandingly warped Media - and still believing all the lies they generate and exaggerate, just to sell more bullshit fake, and distorted news. It's time to stop letting the Russians make fools of us. They are the biggest fools of all.
