I'm not sure what you consider sucking at golf. Last year, before the Covid crisis, I had a 78. I play once a week. I'm often in the 80s. I had a 42 for 9 holes today. My age: 67. Probably 16 handicap now. I almost never practice. Even when I'm playing not so well, I have fun.

People committed the crime and said that they were acting under the instruction of Trump or following the words of Trump. Trump's tweets about Pence lacking courage also further inflamed the crowd and people felt Pence's life was in danger, Trump directed his rage at Pence and that further incited the riot.

Trump didn't say: Protest the Steal. His call was to "Stop the Steal." His followers tried to stop the certification of the vote and they fought like hell, as he said, to do it.

Trump also had plenty of opportunity to tweet out: Don't do anything illegal. Don't invade the Capitol building. Or get out of the building. People observing him felt he was delighted about what was going on.

The next day a number of Trump staff resigned from their positions. They helped Trump responsible, including McConnell's wife.

The majority of the Senate including some Republican Senators will vote to impeach Trump, and, again, I am persuaded by the evidence and what happened to agree with that majority vote and with what Rep. Liz Cheney said.

I respect those who are willing and able to cross party lines on a vote such as will take place on Trump's impeachment, and some significant Republicans are not voting along party lines, but are voting with conscience to convict Trump on the impeachment charges.

I think right now 52% of Americans support convicting Trump of impeachment. I am in the majority, you are not on this vote.
