MAGA 2

Clyde, Flip, JC555, HFT, PhnxFun and other fans of Trump,

I've been reading some posts making claims that Trump is so much better than Biden, Obama, Carter, FDR, etc, etc, blah, blah, blah

I'm truly curious.

Could someone get specific and tell me how in tangible ways did Trump improve your lives or do something positive that directly impacted you for the better?

Personally, in terms of tangible things, Trump did nothing for me. Maybe I paid a little less in taxes, but I never paid attention to that (and I could not tell you how any president in my lifetime has affected my federal income tax for worse or better).

The 40 miles of Wall he built made nothing better for me. His trips to North Korean did nothing for me. His plans to replace Obamacare with something better made nothing better for me.

Ok, if you are in the top 1-5%m, he cut your taxes significantly? What else?

Flip, "More people voted for biden than trump." NO! More stolen votes were submitted for biden. The plan was no matter how many votes Trump got THE SNIFFER will get one more. The fix was in with the help of the R I N O's. How happy are the R I N O's now when they see what they bought turning against Trump. "Better the devil you know then the devil you don't know". You better pray Trump takes it all back in 2022. Look at all the damage THE SNIFFER PIMP PUPPET has done. Example gasoline price up 6 1/2 % in first two weeks. Do you really want men in your daughters showers and locker rooms with their cocks hanging out????? I guess it's good for the perverts like Hunter.

15,000 attend mass on Christmas Eve at the Vatican. There are over 2 billion catholics.

So how does the number showing up equate to how many are? It doesn't.

“ Trump Raley's 30,000 Patriots,,,,THE SNIFFER Raley's 30 Bolsheviks. Explain the difference.”

Cult and non-cult. It’s really very simple.

Just because Biden drawing smaller crowds does not translate into less votes.

He did not want crowds. He did not advertise for rallies. There was a reason there were circles. every six feet.

Here’s another novel idea. For every 30,000 that Trump drew. There were still 40,000 that wouldn’t go.

More people voted for biden than trump. It's not rocket science. Sucks but it what it is.

Sap, Trump Raley's 30,000 Patriots,,,,THE SNIFFER Raley's 30 Bolsheviks. Explain the difference.

Trump’s presidency ended with him receiving a 36% approval rate.

Trump would never want to be speaker. His ego wouldn't allow it

Irondequoit, NY, Us

You do realize there are a number
of obstacles to your plan.

Biden and Harris would have to be impeached at the exact same time in order for the third in line to become President.

Trump has no idea how to legislate. He would be a bigger failure as Speaker than he was at President.

Trump is way too lazy to become Speaker. The hours are way tooooo long for him.

Thornton, CO, Us

I come to accept you Democrat, Liberal, Socialist, BOLSHEVIKS are never going to see the light of self-preservation. Now I am going to concentrate on Trump being elected to the House from Florida in 2022. Then elected Speaker of the House. I want to be there when THE DIAPER LADY PELOSI has to "hand" the gavel to the new Speaker of the House Trump. Then impeach THE SNIFFER PIMP PUPPET and THE COMMANDO HO, CUM A LOT HARRISER. Then Trump becomes President with less than two years to serve and runs for a full term in 2024. In the end Trump is President almost ten years total.
Even if they don't remove them from office. Speaker Trump can make it payback time. The Speaker has almost as much power as the President. Then run in 2024.

@FUN

I am trying to be sensible.

It is 35 permanent jobs for a Canadian owned company.

I do not think it is worth doing all of this for that.

Richards, TX

@EA cmon be sensible , that part of the country has very few good paying jobs. The Bakken shale is pretty much dead . This is like an interstate highway being built. This is all privately funded and it would create lots of jobs . The problem of imminent domain is a problem . The Indians want paid , let the. Work it out. .The guys making the pipe just lost a big contract . There are pipelines going on every day around the world. They are already laying off up there ,tonight on radio they talked to a 26 year old guy ...got cut Friday.
You will not accept this and probably start yelling , but the US oil business pulled Obama’s recession out . That area in the Dakotas was paying so good young girls became truck drivers . It is over now so maybe Biden can find something for these kids to do.

Was it worth it to start it to spite Obama?

Danbury, CT, Us

Is it worth shutting down the project just to spite Trump ?

Santa Barbara, CA, Us

@Fun

Congrats on your accomplishments. Glad it worked out for you.

Yes, you are correct, this is all about means to transport from point A to point B an item.

Is it worth the eminent domain issues for the jobs?

Is it worth the FEDERAL government telling the states that they have to allow this and override their laws?

Is it worth all of this for a CANADIAN company?

All of this for . . .

35 full-time jobs for a Canadian company.

All of this so that a Candian company can get the gas to the Gulf and export it out as a means to avoid the Panama Canal.

Don't scream America first when you are putting a Canadian company first.

If this were that important, why does it have to be a Canadian company that owns it? Why not have it owned by a US company and the usage metered and charged to the Canadian company?

My background in the oil patch started as owning a contract manufacturing machine shop. Small shop but to work with the majors had to be ISO certified . It cost a lot to me but got our ISO certification. This opened doors all over the world . The companies we made parts for were all over one Billion $$ companies . You understand your product liability to manufacture in this industry is tremendous.
The first shop we had went belly up in the mid 1980s . But then when we came back we did it differently . We paid everything cash ..A CNC with tooling over 100K . We had six of them . I designed a cement tool , probably
more information then you will ever understand . My tool could shut stages off in a well and still produce from other stages . We sold our company to the US largest pumping company. . My company was 11 people .
Seven machinist / assemblers. 2 techs , wife and me.
The tool was successful and still used today . My employees got hired by the buyer. Understand if o e of our tools ever messed up or were run improperly say in Saudi Arabia the liability could be a billion dollars.
The Service company would take the hit . But you don’t just lose the business on that well you lose all over the world. You imagine a service pumping company using my tool and failing for a Chevron well .
I would not use any Chinese steel or elastomers . A Chinese mtl.
Cert is all but worthless. .....OH a janitor .....for my little shop I did a whole lot of janitor work . When you own your own business you do a lot. I am a very humble person and accept I have been blessed and very lucky to be at the right place at the right time. The “ C “ people you talk about , most of them I know are fine people but not anyone we want to hang around with. One of the most admired people for me in the O&G industry was a past CEO of Halliburton . AL Baker to me that , man walks on water . He was a graduate of a small college so Ohio . Started with Halliburton as a truck driver ...he worked his way up. He is long retired now .

Richards, TX

@Ea, you are out of your league pounding your chest on 50 / 60 million . That is chump change in the oil business . You have no clue about this business . Every time you come back you sound more foolish .
This is all about an economical way to transport the number one commodity in the world and give some people a good paying job . Berkshire Hathaway owns the rail so it will stay on the rail ( not cheap ) . But politics win , common sense loses.

Santa Barbara, CA, Us

Yeah . . .

I go on and on with facts and you just bring up conspiracy bullshit.

Do you need to read the study on how many jobs there would be in 'maintaining' the pipeline?

See, this is the same bullshit that is put out by Google, Amazon, Microsoft. They demand all these tax benefits and permit variances to build huge data centers along rivers. They publish these massive studies to show how many jobs will be created. Then someone, who doesn't buy the bullshit says, "Those are at best temporary 2-3 month jobs. What is the employment count after it is built?" Then they learn that is generally less than 50 jobs.

Here is what the state department figured - money.cnn. com/2017/01/27/news/economy/trump-keystone-jobs/index.html THIRTY FIVE fucking jobs. Yup, 35 jobs to maintain the pipeline once it was built.

The 1000 jobs? It was in the San Fernando Valley. I made clothing in the US as well as Mexico, China, and Malta. Each has its strengths. I made large one-time orders it was generally China. I could wait the 30 days on the water for it and price was key. If I had to have a super-fast turnaround, it was the US. These were separate companies. The US company sold a majority of its products to Gotschalks and private label deals that ended up at Hot Topic. When Gotschalks started closing stores and the factors immediately cut them off, the business was lost.

I have placed orders for 50 to 60mm per order in China. I have had to have factory inspectors, which are based out of South Korea for those factories. Why? Because Chinese factories will 'lie' as we call it. Chinese culture is significantly more about the end result than it is the path to get there. On the whole, they do not care how you get the end result. They only care that you get the end result that is expected. So you have to make sure that the details are followed in production. I have abandoned a factory in Mexico and gave it to the government. Why? Because it was cheaper than meeting payroll obligations. I have lots of experience in the business world at the highest perch. I do not begrudge all high CEO pay packages because I know wtf they go through. I begrudge the metrics used to determine it. That's why I instituted a weird compensation package for me. I had multiple buckets for pay. One of the buckets that I created was a 1% bucket. If I introduced and set up the relationship for a new customer, I got 1% of the profit. Sure the salesman who maintained after would get a LOT more. He/She would get 15-20% of the profit. For me, though, getting Ross into the fold and selling them $20mm in product, was a nice tiny little bonus. It was, fair. What sucked is that we didn't make too much selling to Ross. I think the highest year we had 20% gross margins to them. So yes, my 1% was worth 40k.

I have no idea what you did for O&G. You have avoided it. For all I know you were a janitor on a oil barge. My credentials are listed. What are yours?

Danbury, CT, Us

Of course Biden prefers the oil on the railway , can you guess who contributes to the Dems ?

Richards, TX

@EA , what are you talking about you go on and on . Do you think that these pipe just grow out of the ground . Yes it is a project but there will be a crew to monitor and maintain. I don’t think you are being sensible. Probably the only time you laid 1000 people off would have been in China. Do you understand the tar sands of Calgary . Do you even understand the Bakken . This oil will still move but the pipeline was the most sensible and economically way. End of story look at BNSF and who owns it . Then look how much he donated to the Democrat party.

Santa Barbara, CA, Us

Ok . . .

Time to put some smack down.

First and foremost, you never responded about Keystone. You took the pussy way out and ignored it. I gave you props and said that you know a whole hell of a lot more about that business than I do and to educate me. So again . . . the walking illiterate Bonnie stated it was 110k jobs when the company, which is CANADIAN, said it was 1000 jobs. Considering the company only employs 7500, I don't know how they can fire 110k. There have been tons of studies on this pipeline about jobs. It was shown that the pipeline was a temporary jobs program. keystonexl. com/siteassets/pdfs/fact-sheets/keystone-xl-project-overview.pdf That is TC's OWN study. It looks at ancillary jobs as well to promote the pipeline. It shows 13,000 jobs. Again . . . not the 110k jobs.

Here is the MOST right leaning, pro oil you can get: uschamber. com/above-the-fold/6-reasons-why-the-keystone-xl-pipeline-america-s-national-interest
Hmm. 41k jobs, direct, indirect, etc. Which, by the way, was debunked. In fact, all of their points were found to be extremely exaggerated.

You can't scream nationalism and in the same sentence promote the risk of Americans' livelihood and living at the expense of a foreign corporation. heinonline. org/HOL/LandingPage?handle=hein.journals/lrel32&div=20&id=&page=

That imo has the best quote in it. The keystone XL is NOT in our best national interest.

Now you want to get into clothing? Ok . . . let's dance. Why did textiles leave the south and the carolinas? Reagan. Yes, the person that conservatives put on a fucking pedestal. en.wikipedia. org/wiki/Caribbean_Basin_Initiative Jobs didn't fucking go to China from the south. They went to the Caribbean and central america. See you probably don't know about the factories in the Caribbean and the impact. The largest apparel maker, again, ANOTHER CANADIAN company, Gildan has factories in Haiti. cepr. net/gildan-fruit-of-the-loom-commit-to-ensuring-that-haitian-workers-receive-minimum-wage/

But ultimately, you are arguing against capitalism and arguing for MORE government all the time arguing you are against government intervention. Capitalism is why you are sitting in front of a computer that can cost as little as a few hundred bucks. Taking advantage of the cost of labor in other counties doesn't bother you that much. You just want to bitch that US jobs are lost. Well, as I was saying in 2003. In america, a guy gets about $100 a day. In Mexico, a guy gets $100 a week. In China, a guy gets $150 a month. If labor costs are 60% of your finished goods, then you will bite the bullet and spend the cost to ship and wait 30 days on the water for the container to get to Long Beach. Want to spend $15k on the computer to have it all made here? Want to spend 4k on the iphone to have it made here?

See, if you are going to scream JOBS JOBS JOBS, where is the passion for the argument? You should be screaming and yelling at people like me. We are the ones who automate. What is automation? It is the removal of jobs. When was the last time you saw a secretary pool? Automation removed that. Automation is the removal of jobs and in capitalistic lingo, it is called efficiency. So we are more efficient. Woo hoo. What else should you be yelling at? Robotics. Robotics will remove more and more people from manufacturing. How many welders do you see in auto plants? Why are US unions fighting automation more than anything else?

I have had to fire 1000 people. It was by far the worst day of my life. I took zero joy in doing it. It tested my core values. I don't ever want to do that shit . . . again.
