RonKathyVeteran
Woodstock, GA, Us

Of course DRs do.. they get gifts , kickbacks , trips etc etc .. we knew a J and J rep who spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on all lavish gifts in S Fl yearly!

EA.. I don’t agree with you much at all but I do share the same thought about both alcohol and Prescription drugs. When a pharmaceutical company advertises ad nauseam on every available channel and then the general public goes to their provider and says ABC drug will fix my problems, medical “professional” become just as complicit in the big pharma hamster wheel..

Fuck I can’t believe we believe the same thing… I just threw up a little in my mouth..

Portugal decriminalized "getting high" and drug abuse dropped by 50%...

@5

"Our government has essentially “legalized” getting high and the outside forces are using the drugs as a weapon that generates a great wealth at the expense of those weakened by our own education and political system."

We are pretty close in agreement.

I'd bring up alcohol.

I'd bring up loose regulations on prescription drugs.

InBev has made a LOT of fucking money and destroyed a lot of minds.

The Sacklers - pfft. Neophytes in the prescription drug game.

Orchard Beach, MD, Us

R&K they aren’t smart enough to figure it out. Our government has essentially “legalized” getting high and the outside forces are using the drugs as a weapon that generates a great wealth at the expense of those weakened by our own education and political system.

If you dont think they are knocking us off from within.. all you have to do is look at the Cartel, China, and terrorist who do harm every day as we sit by and allow all this to happen and talk about "Climate Change and of course racism crap " !

Buckle up people.. it is going to get a lot worse and the RHINOS both side need to go!

Richards, TX

I know the stuff is coming across the border like water and the democrats don’t care . I really think the Cartels are giving money to the democrat party . Obviously they are through the manufacturers of the chemicals . …..democrats just don’t care .

and those who disagree.. talk to the City State Narc / DEA guys and gals who go into the homes, business and come in contact with these scumbags!

Funny how so many who have never experienced this first hand chime in on crap they dont have a clue about. but carry on and pass the popcorn ! And continue listening to those people who sit behind a desk !

and to add and its FACTs.. many officers overdosed on same!

Fentanyl dust is extremely fine – along the lines of powdered sugar. The amount of fentanyl it takes to cause an overdose varies by person, but is such a minuscule amount that it could not cover a newborns pinky nail. Carfentanil, a derivative of fentanyl that is commonly used as an elephant tranquilizer, is 100x more potent and requires an even smaller amount.

Fentanyl dust can remain in the air for long periods of time, swept along by air currents until it settles. After the distributors have been removed, the dust remains. Regardless of whether it is airborne when you enter the home, it is easily re-aerosolized by air currents. The simple act of opening the door to let yourself in sends dust settled on carpets, tables and curtains back into the air.

Breathing in enough dust can cause intoxication, overdose or death – and there is no safe way of telling when enough is enough. This is why it is important that anyone exposed to airborne fentanyl dust wear a face mask that covers the nose, mouth and eyes – so that the dust does not come into contact with your lungs or mucous membranes through which it may be absorbed. It is also important to recognize that aerosolized dust may settle on your skin, hair and clothing and become airborne again at a later time. Wearing a full hazmat suit helps to protect you and those you come in contact with you from delayed exposure.

Does fentanyl cause an overdose if someone touches it? The answer of course is no, but once touched things can happen that can cause an overdose which is attributed to the touching of fentanyl.

For instance, open wounds that come into contact with fentanyl, fentanyl on the fingers in which the fingers come in contact with the mouth, eyes or nose can also lead to such an overdose.

So to say that touching fentanyl doesn’t cause an overdose, though true, can and has attributed to overdoses

@Bonnie

Nope, sorry. You can't OD from casual contact.

But you can have a panic attack because somebody on the internet said you could.

Richards, TX

No , this guy is a Houston PD you take the attitude if it is on the internet it is true .
I recommend you go out and talk to a police officer. Not just the internet

"Shows how much you really know, most medical fentanyl is delivered through transdermal patches. So there’s that.."

What is the relevance of that?

In regards to your previous post a while ago regarding water supplies.

Uhh. That was tried in Tampa a year ago.

Now in regards to how this gets into the US from China.

FedEx. DHL. UPS.

Do you not remember the Silk Road and the reason for bitcoin?

This has been happening since the Obama administration.

Hell, I remember a guy I shared office space with in the late 80s who would FedEx pot to others.

Beginning around 2014 China was the primary source of illicit fentanyl powder coming into the U.S. and Mexico, shipped directly through postal and shipping services. Drug traffickers based in the U.S. and Mexico then cut the illicit fentanyl powder into heroin and other drugs or pressed it into counterfeit prescription pills.

In May 2019, under international pressure, the Chinese government banned the production and sale of fentanyl analogs, leading to the significant reduction of the amount of illicit fentanyl being shipped directly from China to the U.S. and Mexico. Since then, Chinese vendors have shifted their manufacturing to precursor chemicals, selling them to the Mexican cartels via online networks.

Currently, most of the fentanyl in the U.S. illicit drug market comes across the southern border from Mexico. Mexican Drug Trafficking Organizations (DTOs) manufacture fentanyl using Chinese precursors and smuggle it north in powder or pressed pills.

With pressure being put on the Chinese supply chain, India and Mexico have become emerging sources of fentanyl and precursor chemicals, and the DEA expects the number of countries producing these precursor chemicals to increase. DTOs are likely poised to take a larger more significant role in the production and the supply of fentanyl and fentanyl-containing illicit pills to the United States. We can expect that illicit fentanyl production and precursor chemical sourcing will become increasingly global as time goes on.

He probably had a panic attack.

You can't OD from skin exposure despite what your Facebook feed says.

Orchard Beach, MD, Us

EA..

Shows how much you really know, most medical fentanyl is delivered through transdermal patches. So there’s that..

Richards, TX

@2much , let me help you out would you like to talk to a police officer who ended up getting Narcan and hauled to the hospital . Because he was involved in an arrest of a person high on fentanyl . Our police officers wear sleeves and gloves when they deal with criminals

San Luis Obispo, CA, Us

You can't overdose on Fentanyl from casual contact but there's a lot of misinformation on social media suggesting otherwise.
