[LOCKED]WTF

Bensalem, PA, Us

The Do Not Call List only works if you are aggressive with reporting 'every, single, robo-call.' I went through a spell of having the same number repeatedly call and with every single one, I reported it to the Do Not Call List. Over time, the robo-calls for me have become almost non-existent.

So far starting in 2024, the only one that has called my landline is the American Red Cross asking for me to consider donating blood again. I have not had any robo-calls on my cell phone yet this year.

For the end of 2023, I had very little robo-calls on my landline. But, I had been aggressive with reporting the robo-calls throughout 2023, for my landline. For my cell phone, I had gotten a few robo-calls towards the end of 2023 that my scam call blocker app caught and also did not catch. I reported all of them. Throughout the year 2023, I reported all of the robo-calls on my cell phone.

The moral: Unless you are aggressive in the reporting of robo-calls and scam calls, you will continue to be harassed by these types of calls. The onus is on yourself to protect your own phone number(s.) Otherwise, you will become buried in these types of calls. Same thing goes for spam e-mail. If you are not aggressive in reporting them to the instigators' provider, then the spam e-mails will eventually bury you.

The ball is in your courts, people.

OK; here we go it's only the first week in Jan. and the sale calls, robo calls are out in full force. It seems that the do not call program is as useful as our congress is now days, that is worthless. Since we only have a landline and do not have any cells we have started unplugging the phone at night to stop robo calls at 3am. They are using a system that shows a local area code even though they are in a call center in the far east. One would think that there would be a way to stop these calls. We do not need somone calling us in attempt to sell us something, if we need something we look for it. All I can say about these callers is that they must like being hung up on. I'm no longer polite I tell them that we are on the do not call list, to remove our name and number from their list and do not call back

Man show was great. Could never do that these days though

After Kimmel and Corolla left they replaced them with a couple of douchy assholes who weren't funny at all and the show quickly tanked.

A staple of the show was Bill "The Fox" Foster who had the unusual talent of being able to drink beer faster than you can dump it down a sink. He had bit roles on even a few TV shows like Taxi where, surprise surprise, his role was to chug beer. He died of prostate cancer in....

... gasp...

The Man Show was hysterical with Kimmel and Corolla.

The deer on the hood of a car... omg I'd forgotten about that.

It's not clear to me whether the names to be released of peope "associated" with Epstien will be prominent people who may or may not have had anything to do with his sexual predation (e.g. Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, Bill Gates, Prince Andrew etc.). These all have the usual value as fodder for generaral prurient interest and conspiracy theories. Many, rather, seem to be names of victims who were not minors at the time and therefore protected from release. This just seems like another sad/tragic reminder that this scumbag ever existed.

Molly,

Aaron Rdgers: Former Green Bay Packers QB, now injured reserve sideline ornament for NY Jets. See also "Whiny bitch".

Jimmy Kimmel: Came to prominence through the man show. See also "Girls jumping on trampolines".

Hope this helps.

It's not quite as shocking as someone just getting Amazon Prime, but I had to look up both Aaron Rodgers (Rogers?) and Jimmy Kimmel (I had him confused with Jimmy Fallon, whose name I do recognize). Scanning the headlines, apparently Kimmel's name didn't come up in the documents released so far and Rodgers had fallen into the Q pool at some point.

"We use to like watching Kimmell. We gave up when he got so political with bashing people all the time."

I don't watch any of them. They all suck. I prefer Perry Mason reruns or youtube videos after the 10:00 news.

Don’t dish it out if you can’t take it!

WTF??

Jimmy Kimmel has been taking cheap shots at Aaron Rogers for years. So Rogers returns the favor by saying "There are going to be a lot of nervous people, including Jimmy Kimmel" when talking about the Epstein list being made public. Kimmels response is to go ballistic and basically threaten Rogers with court action.

It was never that great, although it served a purpose for us once upon a time. We did end up meeting some good, long term friends that way, but it was a huge amount of work, and we have also met long term friends by just bumping into them (literally and figuratively) at parties.

We stopped trying to meet new people from the site for dates many years ago. We were fed up with last-minute cancelations, people who didn't resemble the 15 year old pictures on the site, or just a complete lack of chemistry when we finally do meet them. We would encourage people to meet us at events that we were going to anyway. If that's not their thing, OK.

8inch - "But following thru and watching their mate suck and fuck someone else is not easy to deal with."

Hmmm, we always thought that was the best part ;-)

AandJ - I got nothing. If we lived by you we'd gladly get together with you guys. FWIW - You can flip a coin 6 times and it's possible to have it come up heads every time. Perhaps it's just the (un)luck of the draw?

The build up to first meet and then ghost, will sadly be a part of the lifestyle for a long time. And, so will the repeat offenders that constantly view your profile, but never say anything.
