Bummer. I thought this was going to be a more interesting/racier thread when I read the title.

I thought it was going to be a playlist--as in whom you're planning of playing with sexually.

Alas, yet another disappointment in life.

I have Spotify on my phone when I travel and a well-curated Pandora station that I worked on for a year, but mostly I have Frankenplaylists of music I own. I start with a core vibe and keep adding on until I have about 3000 songs that I play until I'm ready to move on to something else.

The next five in the queue:

Ain't No Way - Mary J. Blige/Patti LaBelle
The Master Has Come Back - Damian Marley
Love Lives - Black Dub
Flamenco Sketches - Miles Davis
Laundromat Blues - Albert King

(My parents indulged my love of music from a young age, probably because it was the only thing besides car rides that put me to sleep.)

As a very late tech adopter, I haven't stepped up to Spotify yes and am still very happy with my Pandora sans commercials. So, this morning, I have a station called Have A Little Faith In Me playing. Yes, John Hiatt, but also Amos Lee, Ray Lamontagne, Keb'Mo, and a host of others.

Playlist??...We don't need no stinkin' playlist!!! (Sorry...couldn't help myself...)

As a child, I had trouble getting to sleep, so at the tender age of five my dad dusted off an old Philco and placed it at my bedside, my love of music started that first night and has never waned. The current thread "song to suit your current mood" doesn't always match what I'm listening to. I enjoy learning about new (to me) artists & groups and being reminded of old favorites I'd all but forgotten.

A perfect example would be Peghey19 once posted a song by The Mavericks whom I had never heard of. Totally surprises me now because I don't think one day has passed that I have not listened to them. Thanks, Miss Peg.

What are you listening to today?
