Need a Dixie chopper the worlds fastest lawn mower so they say or live out west not much lawn problems here hahaha
People
I bought a 46" ride on lawn tractor before really thinking about my actual needs at this new place. Wife was gonna cut the lawn originally so I bought what she felt comfortable using. After 1 week, it became my job which is fine as I have the time to do it. But doing it in less than 2 hours is not possible and I can definitely use some type of bucket attachment to dig around here. Gonna cost me to get rid of a 5 month old tractor lol
This was an unadvertised benefit of an electric mower. I can mow at 7am or 9pm and my neighbors won't hear a thing.
A lawn tractor doesn't mow as fast as one of those zero-turn mowers. Even with the same width of cut and I'm not referring to a commercial grade mower either.
At least in my experience.
As Goodenuff said, the grass really needs to be dry. Cutting wet grass clogs things up and can wreak havoc on some self-propelled mowers.
I'm not as fast as a pro, but if just mowing the lawn (i.e. no leaves), I can do my 1/3 of an acre or so lawn in about 30 mins. I suspect the ones taking 3-4 hours are the ones leaving those perfect mowing lines. I don't have time for that crap.
Um, with commercial mowing equipment, of course it will take less time than just using a push mower...
Moved to middle of nowhere so I can mow naked if I wanted lol
I wait until the lawn is dry before mowing.
My ex didn't get up until the crack of noon. Anything noisy done during a time with "AM" after the numbers was punishable by death.
Or worse.
Just curious, but what is "first thing in the morning?". I know that I will try to wait until after 9 am on a Sat or Sun at least, but sometimes there are cases of rain moving in, or that was my only opportunity due to other plans. BTW - This time of year I use my lawn tractor to pick up and mulch the leaves more than to mow the lawn.
I also have a house where you can barely see my nearest neighbor's house, so there's that too.
For the people that are compelled to mow their lawn first thing in the morning, even during the Fall when the grass does not grow as fast, I have one thing to say to you...
Fuck you!
While we don't expect to be having sex with super-model types, I don't rule that out either. At parties, I try my best to read the room. I have seen where people don't want to play with me for whatever reason and don't want to come right out and say that. I'm usually intuitive enough to pick up on that and back off. As usual (and to a point), I think women in the LS have more opportunties to play with guys that are considered hot vs older guys playing with women considered hot.
When online, usually my biggest limiting factor is age. I realize that some put age preferences in as a general guideline, but if the guideline tops out at 5-10 years under my age, I'd respect that by not reaching out. That's about the extent of our "staying in our league/lane".
One thing that I do in particular regarding age is take into account that everyone gets old and their desires don't always age as fast as their bodies. We have played with people into their 80s that still very much enjoy sex and were very sexy, in large part due to their attitude. There are obviously people that age better than others because we've also seen people younger than us that look like death warmed over.
" Also "leagues" are in effect, as in "out of your league". People swing within their "league" 99% of the time. "
I don't agree with this thinking. I have never thought of anyone as out of our league and do think we are out of anyone's league.
"The swinger lifestyle is high school all over again. All the cliques are still there, the car guys, the nerds, the jocks, the cheerleaders, the rocker druggies, the hillbillies, and more. Also "leagues" are in effect, as in "out of your league". People swing within their "league" 99% of the time. You are back in high school, and there's no changing it if you want to participate in swinging."
This is so sad, but also very true.
Don't know what that's all about, but I'll be watching and listening during the evening news for any mention of Bensalem, PA.
I have to ask, 'is it worth it...'
Is it worth it to deal with superiors that flip flop on their own words? It is worth my sanity? I think not.
I have something else in the works, but it is a multi-step process that is going into the Spring of 2024. I will have to find something in the interim.
How does someone “attack your profile?”
I don't even have to say "in his defense......"
Here's one you can file under Stupid People...
I posted a Hot Date for today and tomorrow with open availability for vanilla or swing activities. I've gotten some views so far, but no messages. I do not gripe about that. But check this out...
I got a message from a single male profile saying he saw my Hot Date for today and asked if I was bi? I responded asking if he read my profile. It does clearly state on my profile that I am ok with incidental contact, but have no interest in sexual relations with another guy. The single male responded saying he did read my profile. I politely responded back and asked that if he read my profile, then why did he ask if I was bi. Not even a minute later, the message disappeared and his profile disappeared from the Who Viewed Me list.
The dumbass blocked me because I inquired about his stupidity. Fine by me! The trash took itself out!
:-D
LOL!
That could be SLS' way of telling you to go fuck yourself.
:-D
LOL
We showed up as a random match for ourselves.
Which is weird because we're not really a match for us.
I gave up on checking out the Random Matches profiles. A high percentage are Free Members who can't respond to messages, or the profile hasn't been online for several months to a year.
GOODENUFF
As usual, your advice is spot on and timeless.
I'm a rocker, but not a junkie.
