@May that is whyI stoppedat has hate posting on the political page. It seems no matter what I say both sides come out either calling me a liberal a**hole that has hated the GOP for years while the other side calls me a MAGA that has no idea of whats happening. This most interesting since I don't know them and never will meet them.

It's easy enough to ignore the threads that don't interest you.

Just an observation of my own, but the forums here are already on life support. I will agree that Politics is best left out of the LS and probably the forums due to the confrontational nature of the topic. The problem is that the political drivel would then spill over into non-political topics.

Anything that stimulates a non-confrontational dialog of any kind I sort of view as a good thing. If you start trying to limit things to LS topics only, the forums will likely just die a faster death. It's not like you really have a choice in the matter anyway ;-)

Aside from that, at LS parties when face to face with other potential playmates, more that 50% of our conversation is about common interests other than our favorite hobby, so not seeing why the forums should be any different. I will agree that well more than 50% of people here are not really looking to meet and play and/or they have unrealistic expectations that get in the way.

When "Games" and "Politics" and this forum have the most posts, you know most on here are tire kickers and basement dwellers. We're here for swinging. Find another venue to talk those other things, you big dummies.
