Mirrors on the Ceiling

J can’t be trusted to safely hang mirrors on the ceiling. We’ll stick to the pink champagne on ice.

Hooked up with a guy one night in a bar whose bedroom ceiling was a large mirror. He said he enjoyed watching the bottoms of my tits bounce and then seeing the tops in the mirror! I did a reverse cowgirl so I could lean back and it was quite enjoyable! Yes, we had the lights on! P

I don't worry as much about what others might think of it. Guests rarely see the bedroom and our grown kids know we can't keep our hands off each other. They don't know we are swingers. Love watching my beautiful wife when she's sucking and fucking. This will accomplish my goal. Another thing I value is making your sex interesting and creating romantic and sexy situations. This accomplishes this too. We have been together 27 years and didn't fuck anyone else until 2 years ago. After 25 years, make your intimate spaces romantic and don't settle for boring sex. Keep it playful ;-)

MIRRORS? Do like I did, mirrors on the bedroom doors, tilt mirror on the dresser, free standing tilt dressing mirror. No one will suspect you are horny swingers.

We did it. A few houses ago, I had a wild hair up my ass and did it.

I hired a glass company. They came 4 3x3 mirrors on the ceiling. The mirrors were glued to the ceiling and framed in with chrome. So it looked like 4 squares with chrome going down the sides and in the middle.

Now, I also did something interesting :)

I had them drill in the center of it. I hung a ceiling fan over it. The fan was chrome as well, and the blades were clear. For the lights I used black lights. I also painted the room a greyish tint that the store labeled ice princess :)

It made the room so much cooler in design but also in temperature.

This was in South Florida. The mirrors survived Hurricane Andrew no problem.

We found ourselves doing something odd. We'd lay in bed and instead of rolling inwards to look at each other, we would just look up and talk :)

Re: cost - I just picked a site after Googling "Safety mirror costs" and a flat 16"x24" piece of saftey mirror (glass) was $72 and the same sized piece of acrylic was $102. Kind of surprised me as I would have guessed the acrylic would have been cheaper.

Was looking and you can get safety mirrors just like you can get safety glass.

I'd be less worried about the weight than I would about shards of glass falling on me if it broke, not to mention how much the clean up would suck.

Totally off topic, but...

I know that we're not supposed to care about the little things while millions are sick and thousands are dying... but we had tickets to see The Eagles 3 times this week. 1 time at the Forum in L.A. a week ago, then 2 times in Phoenix including tomorrow night. Small bummer compared to what many are going though, but still a bit of a bummer that they have all been postponed.

First wife, we had a full size mirror on the bedroom closet door. She loved watching herself giving a BJ.

Back to topic, because we are interested in doing so too.

Is plexiglass quality enough these days? Those mylar mirrors looked stupid and cheap. I know the weight of a real glass mirror is an issue but we could manage that with careful positioning and a custom frame that screws to the wood joists. What about cost? Is it reasonable to get the high end mylar ones if such thing exists?

Liking sometime4us's ideas. Maybe a mount for a camera as well. Might as well catch the action.

I had one in a basement bedroom, it had a drop ceiling with panels like a lot of offices do you can buy mirrored panels to use that are light weight, I believe the mirror part was similar to Mylar very light weight.

I second the suggestion for a non-glass mirror. If it's going to be permanent, perhaps build your own frame if you're handy and secure it to the ceiling. If you decide to take it down later, you'll just have a few small screw holes to patch.

Back in the day we had a waterbed with a mirrored canopy.

It was fun, but got to be a pain in the ass to move...

And you might get a crink in your neck looking up at the mirror rather than at your partner...

I told my wife I wanted to put mirrors over the bed. Anyone have any experiences? How do you go about it safely and aesthetically?
