I had a SM contact me. He asked, as always about “having a female friend join.” I told him no couples. I can’t figure out what the dynamic is so I avoid that.

Next there’s a couple in the WVM. He tells me she’s checking me out from her profile w/ her husband. So i repeat “no couples.”

I go out with the guy, things happen. The next morning this asshole is now a couple profile with the woman from the married profile with another man. I was PISSED. I don’t know what their scam is but if you want the name DM me because this prevaricating pos travels all over. Turns out he’s some sort of “mate poacher.”

That’s when this a person gets his jollies by breaking up couples.

Divorced from reality?

Divorced from class and decorum?

JW- WTF is a couple that states in their profile that they're "a divorced couple"?

Divorced from each other but get together to fuck others as a couple?

I would think that if they were divorced from other people that there would be no need to mention that they are divorced...

But the story as told sure sounds like it's written to lead you to that conclusion. If they didn't want us to think that way, why write it that way? They could have also said "the store had 4 staff, all [demographic] and there were protestors outside", which is designed to lead you to a relationship between the two probably unrelated sentence fragments.

This poster is the same one who dropped a whole thing about a judge throwing out a verdict and not answering any follow-up questions about what they were talking about, leaving us to figure it out.

If that's the whole story, I'm filing this under "Things That Never Happened for $200, Alex". It's not impossible, but 20:1 odds that this is not a true story, or at least, not the complete one.

Just back from a bit of shopping in a small arts and crafts store. Inside they played Christmas music on low as background, pleasant. Outside were Four protesters of the store playing Christmas inside, bad mouthing people entering and leaving. One woman accosted my wife for actually having purchased something from the store.

Wife looked at her and said hope you find some joy in your life and Merry Christmas.
Woman was pissed, thought she may have a stroke.
Santa must have skipped over her years ago.

If CW II: Electric Boogaloo does end up happening here, it'll be a lot more like the Spanish Civil War in the 1930s, African wars of decolonization in the 1960s-70s (Congo Crisis, Biafra or the Ethiopian Civil War) or the Balkans wars of the 1990s. Except there would be much less of the superpower proxy thing feeding the conflict.

@mayhem - Can't help but wonder if it's possible we could see another US Civil war. Things certainly seem to be headed in that direction.

I cannot wrap my head around how this would happen. I do feel there is a "war" being fought but it's a communications war and without a doubt each side is denigrating the other side, that only our way is the right way, we are the patriots, defenders of our democracy/constitution and that the other side is traitors, fascists, idiots etc etc.

The reason I can't wrap the brain around it is "war" entails protecting and gaining land. For example - why is Ukraine saying "no deal"? They will not concede land. The Civil war it was based on states, land with boundaries. Today, I do not see that. Within states, it predominately beaks down rural = RED and Urban = BLUE. Both sides are essentially everywhere!

So in this scenario, I see total chaos if hostilities break out. Neighbors killing neighbors. Farmers withholding food to starve out the cities. Farmers going broke because of it.Fields being ruined with potentially non reversible methods. So long term less food even if it is settled. I see nothing but mass chaos and no winners. The great lives most of us have and society will be destroyed. To the victors, it will be a glorious battle against the forces of evil and the glorious leader who led us! Those that are left. Who by that time there will be so much bloodshed, atrocities etc to assure the winners and losers are hated eternally.

I simply cannot wrap my head around why we would not want to pull back from the brink and if not, how bad or even what it will be.

We are a nation, the worlds only superpower and while we do not say it, we are an empire. Just like once upon a time were the Brits, French, Spanish, Dutch and Roman empires to name a few. Being the worlds reserve currency is why we have ascended to super nation status. Just like the Empires before us. Those empires fell for the same reasons and we are headed there rapidly. We are now a debtor nation and getting worse with each administration and Congress. It is all of them, both sides and the lobbyist and donor money behind them. Exactly why everyone of the others empires failed also. For exactly the same reasons, apathy, debt from constant wars, corruption, bloated bureaucracies (healthcare, Tech, government), no common societal goals all precursors to empires failures.

There seems to be a lot of people voicing their opinion on filters they'd like the site to employ. I think just about every type of filter that there could possible be has been suggested.

JW when someone is going to suggest a filter for the amount of back hair be implemented.

On the one hand, there's the blowback thing and I want nothing to do with it for practical reasons.

The other thing is that I believe I owe them a measure of morality and respect. As for the morality, it's not a religious or spiritual thing, it's about a personal code of conduct. Plus, if I play with a woman without her man's knowledge and permission, I'm disrespecting him. I believe that I have an obligation to maintain that code, for my own moral well-being. I can still play with a married lady under this code, but I only want to do it if I can while still showing respect for her husband/partner.

People lie about everything.
