What do you do for the first meet up?

For 19 years I was the male half of a married swinging couple with my ex-hotwife. We were both all in for meeting potential male 3some partners for drinks, but not dinner and dancing. When we went out to swing, it was to swing. We met men with high hopes that they'd turn out to be what we wanted and want to invite them to come home with us if we hit it off over drinks. It was made clear to them prior to meeting that I loved sharing her and that she loved being shared between 2 men. Wifey (and I) didn't want to waste time with dining and dancing. I might add that sports bars, for us, were the best and most casual, comfortable venues in which to meet. Others may prefer quieter settings, but in sports bars the background decibel levels permitted us to be able to talk frankly (and naughtily) with our 'date' without being overheard. Also if we were in an out of the way booth or at a table with nobody sitting nearby, she liked to cop feels of both our dicks and get felt up too! My ex-slutwife knew within 10 minutes after meeting and having drinks whether or not she wanted to fuck the man we'd just met. 95% of the time, they met or surpassed what she wanted and liked in physical appearance and charm. For the other 5% we'd politely tell them that the vibes were not right and thank him for meeting us. We'd leave and cruise other bars in hopes of picking up a suitable alternative. 100% of the time for the 95% she gave me the thumbs up on, he was invited to our home. To distill it all, you must ensure your potential male partner that you and wife/gf are sincere about meeting and will take him to bed if the meet-up chemistry is there. If my wifey was super-attracted to a guy and couldn't wait to get her hands on him, she'd propose that he drive them to our home in his vehicle with her giving directions and me following them in our vehicle. It was fun watching them get all over each other at stoplights LOL. Otherwise we'd have him follow us home. We mainly wanted bi guys I could play with too, but I had no problem being and acting 100% str8 with str8 men.

Now as a solo man searching for couples as kinky as were my ex and I, I have very little luck. I guess she and I were freaks of nature. Other swinging couples aren't nearly as excited and dedicated to 3somes with men, especially bi men like me. But the few times I have met couples for drinks, I knew tthat he couple called the shots and all I could do is go with the flow and let them know I wanted to please either of them or both of them.

Whatever the hell you want to do. It will either be cool, or it will suck. If it's cool, do that again. If it sucks, don't repeat it. That's how we learned.

A wine bar or local pub is a good choice. We tend to avoid large, loud crowded bars because we want to have a conversation so a more intimate place for drinks works best.

I would avoid dinner plans in case there is no connection. An hour-long dinner can be agonizing if you already know there isn't any interest in playing or seeing them again.

Of course, it also helps to plan to be close to where you would like to play in case things go well. That means a nice hotel bar or near your home if you plan to invite your playmate(s) back to your place.

Meet at a public library, book store, wine tasting, public park or other green-space, art gallery etc.

As a single guy I leave it up to the couple to make the decision. It should be whatever they want to make things comfortable.
I’ve met most couples for coffee or a quick bite before play just to make sure there is a comfort level achieved. I think meeting at a vineyard would be fun. It’s a relaxed environment and you are able to talk.

Looking to see what others do on a first meeting specifically with single males. I know dinner or coffee are common but looking for other ideas? I like the idea of meeting with something interesting to break the ice?
