Pet Peeve

No apology necessary, I am not the forum police. More like a crossing pointing people in the right (I hope) direction.

Scamp I did not see the official pet peeve thread so my apologies. Although I have been on SLS for about 7 years, I have just recently discovered the wealth of info in these forums and decided to post. I'll be more careful in the future.

I guess I can understand how some guys would get rude or feel offended and ask the why question, but I never have. I do not take it personal when someone turns me down. I know I am not what everyone is looking for so that is fine. But for those I have connected with it has been nothing short of awesome!

I will occasionally ghost someone when they say something so phenomenally stupid that I can't even be bothered to reject them. Otherwise, I just court scorned male ego by telling them that after getting a little more information, I've decided we aren't a match. That gets ugly fast about half the time.

A: There is already a Pet Peeve thread in the Open Forum.

B: If someone contacts you and through the course of the conversation has a change of heart, they owe you no explanation. It would be polite of them to say they changed their mind but from our experience, that usually leads to “why” and then a rant about how the guy wasn’t really interested anyway. People will sometimes be rude or inconsiderate. Get over it.

C: Welcome to the fora ;^D

My biggest pet peeve is when someone initiates contact with me and then a few exchanges later they become a "ghost". It's ok if they decide I'm not what they are looking for, but at least have the balls to say so. After all, they had the balls to contact me.
