My wife and I live in Arlington,Tx and are also fairly new to the lifestyle. We are also looking for friendly couples/mentors to meet. We want to try a house party, but would feel more comfortable if we new someone else there. Feel free to look at our profile. New pics from last week at Hedo. R

Sounds good! Thank you
Mok welcome to the Forums. Even though we are on the opposite ends of the county in many ways the vibes atound the areas are very much different. What you have going for you is that the surrounding areas are ripe with couples and single ladies. That being said, I’m going to offer you the same advice everyone gives single males. Reach out to the ones on the forum for advice. There are some incredibly successful gentlemen on here. Trying to get a couple to Sherpa you up Mount swing may be tough but doable. I would caution you to be careful and safe. I would advise you to overcome any reservations you have and trybattending aimw meet and greets. With summer coming up there will be a couple in the area. If they are couples only, reach out to the hosts and ask if you can attend. They could say no, they could say yes. Be yourself, be real. Give out what you want to come back to you (i.e. respect) it will go along way for you. Reach out to couples in he area, and explain that you are new and looking for direction. Who knows if could be a turn on for some. Head down to Saints and Sinners AC on Friday nights, when they allow single gentlemen in. Meet some of the other fellows and pick their brains. They will give you more real world experince than my ramblings ever could.
Have fun, be safe and enjoy yourself. One thing the lifestyle gives you over time is some confidence to get past any shyness or major reservness you may have had. We’ll always be hear to act as a sounding board so don’t be afraid to ask questions.
@The Fokkers - I am new to the website , looking through the forums and this topic obviously caught my eye. Since from your replies to
@laveenia - you seem to be a relatively sane couple, and we happen to be appear kind of near to each other. I was wondering what advice you would have for a single male looking for the same idea of a friendly woman or couple to gently introduce him to the lifestyle But I am not quite ready to attend events or parties and would need a more intimate/ private setting?
@laveenia I apologize for hijacking your thread/ post
Awesome! Thank you Fokkers
The only one that I know goes on every month is down her in South Jersey. It’s even far for me, it’s put on by the group Playful Friends and they usually meet at Adelphias in Deptford (about 5 minutes from the Walt Whitman Bridge) and occasionally at Vera’s in Cherry Hill.
I don’t know if any up in North Jersey. I do know there is a 4th Saturday ‘club’ that meets in a hotel out on Rt 46 in the Ruby Lounge in Totowa. It’s off premise which is about as close to a meet and greet as you will get. They have their own website www fourthsaturdayclub com
Thank you Fokkers for the timely advice. Do you know if there are good M&G that happens often? I know we can look into events page but it will be good to hear recommendations from experienced people like yourseves.
Welcome to the Forums!
Here is my advice, seek out meet and greets and talk to people. M&G are great for newbies because of the lack of pressure. Everyone is there to socialize. Many experi need couples will steer away from newbies as they tend to be drama risks. At M&G the risk level is low and you may get some interaction. Watch out for those who may be to eager to ‘mentor’ like anything else in life, you will have your predators and they may leave a negative taste about the lifestyle.
There are some great books out there on swinging as there are podcasts. There are a couple that gear themselves to newbies by answering the questions you may have.
Being you are into kink, I don’t know if attend any munches, but there is a slight crossover between the kink and LifeStyle. Kink people tend to be more welcoming and if you find any in the LS they may be able to help guide you.
Plus we here in the forums will help to answer questions, but take it with a grain, as there will be multiple opinions based on everyone’s experience level and life.
Hope it helps.
I am sure lots of newbies would have asked where to go from here. We are one such couple and clueless. We just want to get introduced and honestly looking for friendly couple or mentorship from experienced couple. Although, we have contacted some couples similar to our interests, we thought we should post here to see if couples who have similar interests would contact us just for a coffee or dinner. Thanks for reading....
