I was a 42DD in high school, I’ve had two breast reductions, but all natural with nothing inside of me I am currently a 34D all natural.

cacpl - I am sorry your circumstances forced this onto you. In your case, you really don't have much of a choice. If it were the Mrs in the same situation, implants would be a no-brainer, and the least of our worries.

People doing this strictly for cosmetic reasons do however have a choice, and based on everything considered, I know it's not a choice the Mrs would make. Now a tummy tuck on the other hand...

Perhaps the fat graph you mentioned can/will remove fat from someplace you don't want it and relocate it to someplace you do. Small consolation, and wishing you the best.

"I know at least two ladies that had to have their implants removed bc they were making them sick."

I know that's a possibility, too. Again, not super common but it can happen with any foreign body. Unfortunately I'm not a candidate to use my own donor tissue because of a clotting disorder so it's either nothing or implants. I've decided to try implants because I need some kind of a chest. I definitely don't wish these kinds of decisions on anyone.

"If I Google..."

I did the same thing when I was faced with deciding what to do and that's why I asked my plastic surgeon. He said that they do recommend older implants be replaced but what is being used now can and do hold up well. Capsuler contracture is the biggest issue with implants. Scar tissue forms and that causes implants to to get hard, cause pain and sometimes move out of place. I'm going in knowing I will need to have "maintenance" done periodically because they need to remove all my breast tissue. I may or may not need a complete exchange in XXXX years, but I will most likely need fat grafting and other fun stuff. If you have a good surgeon, you know all these things ahead of time.

If I Google "How long do breasts implants last", it sounds like 10-20 years is the expected life of them. It's not frequent, but if someone is 40 and gets them, they could be looking at at least 1 or 2 operations to have them replaced. Possibly more if they have issues closer to the 10 versus the 20 year expected life of them.

I have some serious breast envy these days. Stupid cancer :(

Re implants not lasting long: This was my concern about having implants. My plastic surgeon flat out said that's a myth. Can something happen to them so they'd need to be replaced? Absolutely. But it isn't too common.

Nipples are definitely an erogenous zone for both sexes.

@onehorney - could easily be true. i defer to your superior data.

love flave and flava as abbreviations of flalovemonkeys. lol. what time it is boeeeee! (public enemy reference, if you're not familiar)

@funly meaning mine (the husband's) too? can't say it's ever occurred to me before that i might have suckable nipples. as for my wife - oh gawd yes. they're awesome.

Flave- I would have to disagree with your take on the breast implants dwindling. A few months ago my wife had some work done and I can tell you first hand after seeing 4 different plastic surgeons in the Knoxville, Tn. area that their businesses are booked months in advance for breast surgery. As a matter of fact one told us since Covid that they have had more business then ever before. Must be everyone sitting around looking at their bodies and aging as we do saying damn I need to do something about those.

Flava, she has beautiful breast and you both have suckable nipples

Unless the technology has changed, the problem with implants is that they only last so long. Then you need to go in and do another surgery, if that's the case.

my sense is that the fashion for implants has lessened a lot over the past decade or so. i feel like there was a time in the 90's, maybe beginning in late 80's, when 70% plus of playboy and penthouse models had been enhanced, and natural a and b cup models were rarely featured. kind of like shaved pussy, at the time i found it attractive and sexy and provocative. but i've changed.

i don't really discriminate, and certainly don't criticize, but as a matter of personal preference I have come to prefer natural boobs - perhaps especially if there's some nice natural degree of hang and sway - and less shaven, or even (especially in my asian wife's case) unshaven, pussy.

i have sense I am in line with larger societal trends on these issues, but it's hard to say. judging by nudists and swingers 95%-plus women completely or almost completely depilate their beavers, and implants are very common. but i have a sense in the gen pop it's much less so. I guess i need to examine a larger sample size to really know. :-)

Titties are like Snowflakes. They're all different but they're all Wonderful!
