The most expansive list can be found on Fetlife. Look for groups in your area and find events that meet your interest. Munches are public meeting for group members where they can meet and meet others. Some groups require you to be vetted by attending a munch ‘em order to be allowed to attend events, others don’t. It’s really group dependent. You can find 101 classes that are held fairly frequently and this would be a great introduction.
The one thing to remember is be safe, and there is no one way to play. While some things are safety oriented like rope work or fire play, others like high protocol have specific expected behaviors, but those are in the minority. Everything else, take the part the suits you and leave the rest. It’s your kink, your journey and what you like and thrive on should drive your choices, not how others tell you this is how it’s done. Skills wise, it’s like any other skill and there are things to learn to become proficient and then to become good. Reach out if you have any questions where I might be able to help

Try looking at munch dot org. Usually there’s a listing of Kinky public meet and greets In a variety of areas. Fetlife is another option. Research Folsom Street fair in San Francisco and look at their resources. Might give you a link or two to follow. If you have a Good vibrations in your area or any sex shop they sometimes have kink related classes.
If you are on Fetlife, look for Stephonicus or Erostudio. He is an excellent teacher/trainer/knowledge source.
I know of a couple. There is a place in Philly that runs classes and workshops. It's located inside a sex shop on SOuth Street called the Passional Boutique. The classes are done by a place called the Sexploratorium. You can find them online. My wife and I have attended 3 classes there. It's always fun.
If you want something based online there is one called The Kink Fix, we did a couple of those.
You should also join Fetlife and look through thier listings of online events and workshops. there are a ton.
Wondering if anyone has ever participated in a BDSM Workshop that they could recommend. I (female half) am interested in BDSM while DH is afraid of hurting me. Hoping to find a basic workshop to build his confidence and teach him how to give me what I need and help us work together.
