Speaker1: I used to feel so guilty handing over the tablet just to get things done. We all do. But honestly, I switched to Lingo Kids. The guilt is gone and the kids are obsessed. Really? Do they actually like it? Oh, they love it. It's all games, music, lessons, and stories. They think they're just playing, but I know they're safe from weird ads and junk. Mom, look! I'm flying into space! See? They're happy, I'm happy. Lingo Kids! Everything kids love. This week on Hot Couple Chronicles. Yeah, it's funny because every, well, the last time we were there, it's every year it's the Blind Convention. And it was also the Southern Baptist Convention. And so it was, it's just, it's, it's just funny that they stuck all, they stick all of these things in the same weekend with over 3,000 swingers as well coming through. But it was a good time. Nardy and Rollins is really an event that some people, like, that's the only event they go to for the year. And I recommend everyone in the lifestyle go at least once. We're very, yeah, we're brave. We're down for whatever, always all the time. And not everyone is like that. So it takes a minute. I tell everybody, expect and be comfortable just being wet the entire time you're there. Because if you're not getting rained on, it's so humid that you're just soaked and sweated all times. Welcome to Hot Couple Chronicles, a podcast exploring the swinging lifestyle. Welcome back. Welcome back. Happy Wednesday. Happy Wednesday. Another day of nonsense. Yes. Welcome. And shenanigans. You just never know what you're going to get. We're glad you're here. Thank you for coming back. I'll never stop saying that. Thank you for listening to us. We'll never understand it, but thank you for doing it. We appreciate you guys. Today we are going to talk about one of our favorite things ever. I am fresh off of my Naughty Tour. I've been literally touring around the last few weeks and months really just nonstop. Naughty New Orleans is the last real big event that I did. And this time I did it all by myself. But we have a lot of people. We've been big, naughty advocates. Yeah. We've been adamant. That's like our favorite. Favorite event. And then we hadn't went for two years ago. We went together and had the best time ever and have raved about it since. And then I was invited a few months ago. They asked me to come back. They talked to us. They were pretty late in the game, right? Yeah. Asked if we wanted to come and then I couldn't. Yeah. We already knew since it was such short notice. I knew with his work schedule. There's no way. But we had really close friends, anything but Vanilla, that were already going. And they offered to hang out with me for the week and let me tag along with them. And yeah, it was just as good as I remembered. It's obviously wasn't like it was last time because it was special. We fell in love with the city. The city is beautiful. It's... Well, when we went, we... Yeah, we did a lot of swingership and we did a lot of partying. But we also took time and explored New Orleans and kind of got off the beaten path. Yeah. And we fell in love with the city and we just it's intimidating. It's nasty and it's a dirty it's a gross gross place. But I mean it is statistically no like it is the dirtiest city. But it's also one of my favorites. Yeah. Like I it's so beautiful though at the same time the architecture and just the art and the history and everything. Like it's, oh, Naughty has my heart for sure. Well, New Orleans has my heart, but Naughty for sure. And yeah, we fell in love with the food and the people. And once you just stop and start talking to people that are from there, that live there, that hustle on the street and do all the things and get to actually talk to them, like they just love their city so much. And it's just their heart. Like you can tell when you talk to people. And we did, we talked to a lot of locals and I love it there. It's good. But yeah, we're going to talk all about Naughty in New Orleans. and all of that and give you some tips and tricks. And hopefully we'll see you in 2026. We will be back. Russ will be coming this time. Yes. Period. There's no question. We're going back next year. I will be there this time. Period. There's no other option. We are. Hopefully see all of you next year. Hopefully we have another booth and. We already have it. Oh, okay. We have another booth. We're already doing the same thing next year. But if you want to come down with us next year. Yes. We have links. on all of our socials, on our website, in the show notes below. So we want to run down and talk about what Nani is. People that don't know how it works, what it is. There has been, since you've been posting deals and TikToks and posts about it on social media. It's been going viral. Not just me, but like a lot of big videos been going around. A lot of people have never even heard of it, which is surprising because it's so big. In our world. Yeah. Yeah, it's funny because every, well, the last time we were there, it's every year it's the blind convention. And it was also the Southern Baptist convention. And so it was, it's just, it's, it's just funny that they stuck all, they stick all of these things in the same weekend with over 3000 swingers as well coming through. But it was a good time. The Southern Baptist people, they had yellow dresses or dress pants and then green jackets, hat, top hat, like big church hat. like green and yellow all of them and at first every single person i talked to including myself was like oh my gosh they like coordinated because they look like pineapples just running around the city it was it was funny it was really funny but yeah it was a good it was a good time yeah so if you don't know the way naughty works is you book your tickets you can book your tickets ahead of time a year ahead of time whenever you want and then as it comes closer to the event there are hotels open so they have three hotels that they take over and then they have the host hotel which is the aster yeah and that is the main one if you want to be a part of the party and you don't want to have to walk anywhere or take a shuttle they do have shuttle now which is really nice that you don't have to walk anymore to your hotel but if you want to be able to have the hotel takeover experience and everything's in your building the aster is definitely the one that you want and the nopsy was more bdsm they even had the dungeon and all the bdsm vendors and all that so that was kind of that theme And it's, I think it's their most upscale of their hotels. Like, it's just really pretty. It has a rooftop bar, and that's where they host a lot of the pool parties and the pool up there. And then they have the Dungeons vendors. And it's just really, they have a restaurant there. It's a really nice place. And then, yeah, we came in. So, rewinding. I was going up with anything but Vanilla, our friends, Rob and Lindsay. They live about two and a half hours north of us. Somehow, though, they are 20. 20 minutes or 30 minutes closer to New Orleans than our house which is further south which you would think. It would be a little fast yeah you would think but no and they had mentioned something Lindsay had a hair appointment so it was kind of like we have stuff to do anyway so I was like I can just meet you up there and so I got my nails done and I ran up north it's in like three hours or so and then I went with them so we had that entire their entire car packed to the brim because you can imagine we were doing the table for the podcast So we had all of that stuff. I had merch. And then we had, we're swingers. So we all always carry everything around. And Naughty is really big on their themes. People go all out. That's when you, it's like the problem. Yeah, Naughty in New Orleans is really an event that some people, like, that's the only event they go to for the year. And I recommend everyone in Lifestyle go at least once. Yeah. It's a must do on a list of things to do. I tell everyone, even if you don't, like, if it's not your thing, you'll find so much. there's over 100 classes and seminars alone there's like 15 bars that they rent out like you plus you have the night parties which we all do that and on the normal anyway so you'll like there's so many different themes and opportunities and you can make it whatever you want it to yeah and that's the best part about it because you do have the time we so we ended up driving from north of atlanta and drove there we made really good time like super good time No traffic really at all or anything. It was smooth sailing. We were packed at the berms. Again, we have all of our stuff in there. But we made it, like, I think by midnight, which we didn't leave till 3. Yeah. We stopped, like, twice. And we made really good timing. But we got there on Tuesday. We decided to go up a day ahead because we had the booth. And they were all setting up Tuesday to be open for Wednesday. Because Wednesday is really the first day. Wednesday is the official day. That's when everybody really starts coming in. Yeah, but there's also an event. There's also the vendors open and stuff like that. So you want to get in there Wednesday. For sure. At least. But we were setting up for the table. So we got in Tuesday night. Well Wednesday morning at midnight. Yeah. And we got there and we ended up walking down. I feel like that's what you have to do when you get to naughty. Especially at night time. Is you just walk down bourbon. Like you just go look around bourbon. And it was Wednesday morning. So it was dead. No people. Or there was a couple people you know. Yeah, beating their buckets. But it was very quiet. It was nice. And he had been, but Lindsay had never been to New Orleans before. So that was like her first experience. And yeah, so we walked down there for a little bit and came back and went to bed because we had to be up in the morning to do the table. So we were on the second floor of the table for the podcast. And that was pretty awesome. I still am blown away that they wanted me to come there and to be a part of that. But it was so good to finally A lot of people I have never seen in real life. Like I've talked to, I've known forever, just never have met them in person. And even followers and people that listen to us and watch our content and stuff, just meeting people that you know of. I can't even explain to you how amazing and how mind-blowing. I cannot believe how many people listen to this. I never will understand. And I'll never be able to wrap my head around why. But we met a fan. She came up and she was like, you don't know who i am i know you're probably listening hey girl um she was like do you know that one dot you you know in iceland she's like that's me so oh my gosh i loved i connected with her a couple times and she was so sweet i uh we just met a lot of people there was one person i'm sure they're all listening so i wish i could hug you all um they're just i can't even there's so many stories and people that have came up to me lately and just talked about the podcast and encouraged us to keep going and to hurry up and release a new one. They're like, hurry up. Don't give up. Please don't leave us forever. We've come across people that thought we stopped. Are you a parent who feels guilty about screen time? No. Well, no, not you, sweetheart. But your mommy and daddy do. Why? Because too many apps are filled with AI garbage, inappropriate videos, and random content. Like a dancing potato. Or worse. That's what parents worry about. We're Lingo Kids, and we're here to help parents out. Lingo Kids is the number one entertainment platform for young kids because kids love it and parents can trust it. They want something safe. And fun. Yes, fun, but also something that actually teaches you. Big words like FOMO synthesis. Eh, close enough. And they want fun songs, videos, and interactive games that help you grow, not turn you into a zombie that bites other zombies and then the zombies take over the world. Men fly to space and live on the moon and fly in rocket ships on planets with loads of candy. Yep. Make them kids! Everything kids love. Let's be honest. Buying cannabis shouldn't be complicated, sketchy, or low quality. That's why I want to tell you about mood.com. That's M-O-O-D dot com. Mood ships federally legal cannabis straight to your door. No medical card, no hassle. And here's the kicker. The quality is better than anything you'll find at your local dispensary. Yeah, I said it. Whether you're into edibles, concentrates, flour, or just looking to explore, you'll find it all at Mood. And it's not just the variety that makes them stand out. Every product is sourced from small, American-owned family farms that care deeply about what they grow. It's cannabis you can trust, delivered discreetly, and ready to elevate your mood. And because you're a listener, you get 20% off your first order. Just head to Mood.com. That's M-O-O-D.com to get started. It started. Because even though our last episode was the season finale. They thought it was the ending episode. Yeah. Not the series finale. Are you quitting the episode or the podcast? I'm very sure. Then we will be back. It was just summer and kids and we need a break. It's a lot. But yeah, anyway. Anyway. Yeah. Wednesday we had the circus party was the big theme party. Most of the day was the table and getting that set up and meeting. people and connecting and connecting and just kind of getting the lay of the land and going and looking. Stopped at like the Nopsy pool party and said hi. And, you know, just kind of looking at different spaces and seeing, going down Bourbon, doing the whole stroll up and down Bourbon. And then we had the circus party, carnival circus themed party. I thought that was a very big theme to start out on a Wednesday. It was like abruptly just, we were there and it was time, like on a Wednesday. And I was like, I mean, it was, it was a big, a big night. And I was a clown. I dressed in pink. It was a last minute. I've been busy. So it was the last minute. Like, shoot, I need to figure out what I'm doing. And it just happened fastest. So that's what I was. And yeah, it was fun. We had fun. We found our balconies and just soaked up the city and soaked up all of the environment. And it was their first time. I think Vanilla's first time there. So it was just kind of testing. in the waters, showing them around, getting them used to it. Not everyone can jump in both feet like we do. Yeah, we're very, yeah, we're brave. We're down for whatever, always, all the time. And not everyone is like that. So it takes a minute. But yeah, we, I mean, honestly, most nights we, two nights that I went to bed late, but most nights felt like a pretty, you have to, though, with Naughty. Like, Naughty will suck it out, suck everything out of you. Yeah. And it would kill you. It is a marathon, not a sprint. It's exhausting. And I felt like this year, I definitely, I was nonstop and I didn't feel like there was ever enough time. But I also feel like the key, I mean, I'm telling you, the key is naps, which I was, I didn't do. I never can fall asleep. I try, but I can't. Naps and you have to eat and you have to drink water. You have to rest. You have to sit down when you can. You have to. I mean, when we went, A couple years ago, we had a rude awakening. Oh, yeah. I fainted Thursday morning. We didn't even start yet. It was the first morning there. We went out Wednesday to Bourbon Street, went to a bar with some friends, and then we were in bed at least an hour. Woke up the next morning, went outside, and we were just talking to people, and I looked at you, and I said, I need to go back up to the room. I just feel nauseous. And I took maybe three steps, and then, Woke up face up on the sidewalk terrifying he was just super dehydrated it's it's just expect I told them I told everybody I tell everybody expect and be comfortable just being wet the entire time you're there because if you're not getting rained on it's so humid that you're just soaked and sweated all times like you're just wet there everything's wet always all the time as long as you understand that same thing with secrets as long as you understand you're gonna be disgusting and gross and everything's nasty And just accept it at some point. You're going to be fine and you're going to love it. You're going to have a great time. But yeah. Yeah, it'll suck you dry. It will take you out. Everyone I talked to that went for the first time was just struggle busting about that third day. It's a lot. But I'm glad we did take it a lot. But we had the table. So it gave us like four hours where I just hung out, sat down, did a class. Like it was more chill. But yeah. And then we went to bed, got up. It was Thursday. And we did the day party stuff. We dabbled in a few. They were so packed. Because by the time we would get out of the hotel. Because the vendors ran from 10 to 2. So then by the time I would get moving. And fill my water up. And it takes time. You're not getting out until 3-ish. Or 4. By the time you change into your day party clothes. The first party starts at noon. It starts at 12. And there's so many going on now. Bob will just like there's an app that you can text on and it gives you notifications and it does your whole schedule and everything and he would just be like oh we just secured this place too if you want to do this oh there's this going on now if you want to do this also we just got it so it's like constant like any it was a cigar lounge you could come and chill and hang out it was quiet just hang out and then there's like crazy party dance you know loud level and then there would be yoga and meditation options like there's so much for everyone And then everything you can imagine you could be doing all day long. You can make it. Last time we did no seminars at all. We were different people back then. We were just happy to be there. We went to both day parties. All the day parties. Every time we went to a new party. Then ate dinner and went to the night party. Yeah, we went. We were there partying last time we were there. This time was a lot more education and networking and meeting people and community. And I love this version. Waymore definitely recommend this way but it is crazy how like it's two different experiences with Naughty plus without you there it's just a completely different you can make it whatever kind of trip you want it to be honestly but yeah we wouldn't get moving until like three four o'clock and we need to food by then because we hadn't eaten anything yet we had no fridge or microwave so that was kind of like a bummer it was a little bit of a bummer so we'd have to go find food did we drink I don't did we have a microwave I don't remember I don't remember either I don't remember either but So we were making do and going down to the lobby and they had luckily big things of water down there and you could fill your cups up but you had to go every morning we had a routine of what we did and then we'd go out and try and get to a day party and it would be like halfway over and then you kind of get the end of it and then we'd explore to the next one you kind of you get on bourbon and there's just multiple places you have options to go and then like Hustler there is always doing something for Naughty and they're doing like hors d'oeuvres go in there for sure during the day parties to the Hustler they have like meats and cheeses and crackers Sometimes it saves your life. You need that. Like just a little snack. They'll give you like drinks and snacks and good coupons and it's air conditioned and you can go shopping. So there's so many different options of things to do. And then yeah that night was BDSM. So I was very very excited about this night. Didn't even have to buy an outfit. I mean I had all the options. I always do. Like BDSM got you. I'm good. I can pull all the things out. I was so excited for that night. And we went down We went around the vendor floor because that's where a lot of our friends were. A lot of people that we were connecting with and talking with we would hang out there because it's right outside the ballroom. So we got in our leather every single night. We got our pictures taken. I was so proud of us. Every night we never missed a night we got our pictures taken and then we would go out to the balconies get our pictures done out in the balcony because it's New Orleans and you have to and you get people and your friends and stuff and then we put the phones away and then we went exploring and all of that. So what happened was they had a speakeasy party. And I was, I love me a speakeasy. We do. We always are looking for speakeasies. We're so excited for speakeasies. So they were like, we're going to give you clues. I was like, oh, it's like a scavenger hunt. This is fun. So it was all through the days, Wednesdays and Thursdays. And it was like, if you find a person with this pin on, ask them, they'll tell you where it's at. And here's a hint. And then they were texting different hints and stuff. And I was so excited to go find it. It ended up being in the Astor. It was just a suite, like a hotel suite. We ended up finding that. And that's where they hosted one of the parties at nighttime. And it was usually someone like an event company or something. But Secrets Eye Candy took it over. And I don't know how, but ended up in there that night and made a lot of friends and got to hang out with a lot of the Eye Candy crew, the Secrets crew. It was so much fun, but time just flew by. And I danced the night away. It was so good. It was nice to dance. And just do my thing. They went off. Lindsay and Rob went off and did Swinger Shit. And we're meeting all sorts of people. We had a really good night that night. That was a good, fun, just happy to be here kind of nights. And it was a good vibe. And we got to do Swinger Shit. And it was fun. It was fun. But yeah, that was Thursday. And that was only a Thursday night. That was only a Thursday night. That was a Thursday. Yeah. And then the next day. Before the weekend. Hey, beautiful. If you're looking to feel confident and sexy, Voluptuous Fixin has got you covered with stunning lingerie and outfits that fit every curve. And for our listeners, you can snag 10% off your order with code HOTCUPLENGA at checkout. Don't miss out. Check out the link below and find your next favorite piece. Yeah, and that was this Thursday. It was exhausting, but I love it. And then Friday, we sat at the booth, met people, did that, went to class. We did a lot of I wanted this time to really do a lot of hosting events and hosting club having clubs and because that's our ultimate good information stuff and there's a lot of legal information just about every event organizer is at this yes it's for the industry and it's very much like you get to see a lot of people I mean John and Jackie from open 101 they have been around forever and it was good to hear their stories. And everyone was there to help each other. They've been in the industry for so long. I mean, they own, they're the owners of Colette. Yeah. Yeah. Which are in multiple cities. And it was nice to hear like tips and tricks and what to do and what not to do. And it was Splash. And a lot of big club owners and companies that all came together and just kind of shared their experiences. And we're all just trying to help each other. And there's a lot of legal, unfortunately, illegal. Yeah. stuff going on. There's a lot of just shady stuff going on. And everybody just wants everybody to be safe out there. And, you know, we're all here for the same reasons. And it was really good. I wish I could have made it even more. But like I said, they were like 10 a.m. and it was hard to get away from the table, you know, because you have people come over and then you have to go to the class and then you come back. So it was never enough time. And I definitely plan on doing more next year. But what I did see, and what I did sit him on was really good. And what I heard from a lot of the classes were really good feedback. There's stuff for everyone. There's like hot wifing. There's like Simon Says that turned into this ginormous orgy. There's like, I mean, it's like whatever you want. I was so curious when I walked in and I saw, I mean, the schedule is miles long. There's so much stuff you can, you can. The Simon Says one. And I, that was the first, that was the one that caught my eye. And I met a guy in an elevator and he was like, that Simon Says was awesome. And I was like, I was curious. Is it like Simon says, you know, kiss your cheek or like Simon says, like, suck his dick? I was wondering, I asked that guy, what exactly were the rules and everything? He didn't really. Are you a parent who feels guilty about screen time? No. Well, no, not you, sweetheart. But your mommy and daddy do. Why? Because too many apps are filled with AI garbage, inappropriate videos and random content. Like a dancing potato. Or worse. That's what parents worry about. to help parents out. Lingo Kids is the number one entertainment platform for young kids because kids love it and parents can trust it. They want something safe and fun. Start free at rss.com. No, he was just watching, I guess, but he's like, no, it was full-blown orgy by the end of it. So I was like, if that's what you like, that's awesome. But interesting, and they just had so many different activity, naked twister, and things you could do and then they had like bead making and collage making and you know manifesting and just i don't it was there's something for everyone then the they've grown so much since we have been there it's insane just how big they've gotten since the time when we were there yeah how far they've came and it was huge when we went it was huge yeah it was ginormous this time there's like 3600 people ended up with or something like that that's like that's nuts that's crazy when we went it was like 2400 or something like that so and that was two years So kudos to Bob and Tess and all of them. You're killing it. It's amazing. But yeah, Friday was the beach party, which if you go to Naughty, another tip, go to the beach party. Oh, for sure. It's insane. It's hot. It's gross. It's nasty. And it's packed because everyone has told everyone the same thing. But it's also a foam party. It's a foam party. It's like multiple layers inside. We couldn't even get near the inside. We peeked in for a minute by squeezing through. Yeah. See, but you have to see it. There's a bar called The Beach. The Beach, yeah. And you walk in, and it's like a big courtyard. It's a bar now when you walk in. So there's a bar when you walk in. There's an additional front bar, kind of open on both sides. And then you walk in, and there's a courtyard, and it's got a fountain there, which is everyone's favorite. So when we went, there was the courtyard, and there was bars on three different bars in the courtyard. Yeah, once you get in there, it's like multiple levels, and there's bars. was up there. But you couldn't, I mean, well, we showed up late too. We showed up a lot later than normal again. Well, even we were there on time a couple years ago and we still had a stand up line to get in. And we found, we ended up squeezing in the back and finding a spot up top over the overseas thing, like on the balcony. Yeah. But again, we were different groups last time. Like we went with different people and it was a whole different vibe. Last time was much more a party, being there in the front, be the first one at all the parties showing up. And we were just different humans and we didn't, you know, We were just different people then. So it was a different experience for us. This time it was much more like lots of people in there. There's a lot of people. So we just like find a hole, like a little hole that we'd make friends and dance. And we had such a good time. Even showing up late and being crammed in the courtyard. It was so much fun. People were living their best life slipping, sliding. It was raining, drizzling the whole time. It was good. It was so good. That happened when we went too. I remember it started raining. Just expect to be wet there. Everyone was already wet, but. Oh yeah. I mean, they have the whole bar, so you'll see people without tops on and people doing whatever they want to do. Not supposed to do whatever you want to do, but you know how it can be sometimes. So it's wild in there. But the music's so good. The vibes are good. The beach party, it's not for everyone. It's not everyone's vibe, but even people that I was around, they were skeptical and they got in there and they understood because it's just so many good people. No matter any of the parties you can show up to, it's our people it's full of us like the coolest people not to toot our own horn but like the coolest humans the best vibes everyone's just so happy to be there and yeah you can't go wrong with any of the day night parties yeah and then i forgot to mention speaking of night parties at the night parties there's multiple there's two different ballrooms having two different vibes so you'll have like more yacht rock or like classic rocks more chill vibes over here one night Yeah, something different. And then over here is EDM and dance music. And it's just completely, and there's only a few, like it's right around the corner. You don't have to, it's still on the same floor of the hotel. And then if you had the Nopsy, they have their own thing going on. Beautiful, beautiful dungeon that I just never made it to. And again, with the BDSM night, that's what I was most, I was trying to get at was ended up partying with friends and had a great night. It was perfect, but missed everything. I missed the ballrooms. I missed the Nopsy. I wanted to get over to the Nopsy and do all that. I was so excited for that. But I also was timid and worried because he wasn't there. And I don't really like to do that kind of stuff with him not around. I don't mind watching and being around it. But I know it's hard for me not to like people offering to suspend you and do things like I was like, I need to. It's probably best that I didn't. But I was a little sad that I missed all of that. But we had a great time. It was fun. I made a lot of friends and got to know people more. It was a good night. And then the night parties, you have two different options when you go there. And then also, you can just not and do bourbon or do anything else. You can go to room. Yeah, there were groups that just went to the bar. The bourbons. Yeah, Bourbon Street just was going down bourbon. Also, you have the speakeasy now, so that's another night party. It's a different vibe. It's a smaller, more closed room. More intimate. More intimate room. and I had no air conditioner by the end. It was hardcore and small, but it's always good vibes, too. Like I said, any of the rooms, any place you go, it's going to be good because it's our people. You cannot go wrong with any of this stuff. If you just want to do seminars all day and night, if you just want to do vendor and you just want to go to bed at 8 p.m., you can do that. If you just want to explore the city, if you just want to, yeah, you can do whatever you want to do. And it is a good... At first, I got there and I told him, I was like, I don't know if I being this large here. I didn't remember skyscrapers. I forgot that New Orleans was a real city. Yeah. I forgot the size of it because you do get like bourbon is like in your main corner. Yeah. Like French quarter. And you get used to the same areas. Yeah. After a while especially being with a group of people. So I didn't even realize I had skyscrapers until I came back. I was like I forgot all about that. I forgot how big the palm jiggies are. Like I just forgot how many people were there. I forgot the large how large it really was. and for a minute it was intimidating until we started going off the beaten path and walking around and going shopping and exploring and doing all that we did a lot of that again with them because they were falling in love with the city and they were being there for the first time and they were excited to rob had been there running but she had never been there before and it was her first time at naughty so it was a lot of a lot of stuff going on but they took the time and explored and went shopping and ate every day we ate i had a cup of gumbo every That's what I had at different restaurants. I had a po' boy once and the rest of the time was a cup of gumbo. That was my everyday thing. And then they got oysters and ate oysters every day. I ate oysters every meal. Oysters and gumbo. That's what we did. And the one, some of the restaurants, they have like little sampler meals. So you can get a sampler thing and you get a little bit of everything like jambalaya and etouffee and gumbo and see how they, because they're all different. Every gumbo is different. So it's nice to just like try them all. And every restaurant is amazing because they have to be. There's such so much like they're all doing the best. So they all have to stay at that level. So it's no matter where you go, you're going to find good food. You can just walk in off of the street and find the best food ever. It's all like French bakeries and croissants. And it's so good. Oh, so good. Hey there, listeners. Are you looking to prioritize your sexual health and wellness? We've got just a thing for you. It wasn't that long. It was the tail end of that. When we were walking to the beach party, everyone was walking into the hotel, like soaking with sweat and wetness and foam and everything. And they were like, don't do it. Don't go. We still did. Still ended up doing it. I'm glad we did because we did have a really great time. And people had left enough where there was enough room opening up. It wasn't like an event going on yet or still. So we had a great time. It was a good time. We ended up the tail end of that. Eight. Came back. And then it was Sexual Freedom Parade. Which is my absolute favorite part about Naughty. We ended up going to the beach party in what we were going to wear. Just from there. So it was just easier. Because we were meeting at the beach this year. So this year it was on Bourbon Street. Normally it's on Canal Street. So there's a lot more room. Because if you know you walk down Bourbon. Especially with a group of thousands and thousands of people. It takes a while. takes a minute so it took a while to get it going and get started and get the roads so we can get through and it's a long route like even now it was it's a long route we do it's a huge parade i mean they have these floats these people push and i feel so bad for the people pushing but they have these people pushing them and costumes and i mean there's music and band and it's it makes me cry every single time just to see it in real life i know we see it on like social media and You know, news and stuff like that, but to actually see it in real life, the actual people that were there, the amount of people just overflowing in the streets and everyone. One tip, again, another tip, if you are not out and you do not want your face out there in a swinger parade, I mean, it's a sexual freedom parade, but if you're very cautious of that and you don't want to be in things, do not do the parade. I would go, you could watch it and be on the side. Wear a mask. Or wear a mask, but I just, I think everyone needs to be given more of a heads up there because it's news channels. Every single human on the side has their phone out. I've saw. Oh, yeah. Every single street is packed with people. Every person in the parade has their phone out. There's drones going over top news trucks like it's it's on the news. It's in, you know, tick tocks and stuff. I think that's what really caught a lot of eyes and stuff. And there's a lot of public public people out and on there. So be careful if you don't want to be out and you're very discreet and secret. Be careful going to the parade. Yeah, there's a lot of people. that understood that and stood on the side and watched. And, you know, you have less of a chance when you were there watching the parade. But I always want to give people a heads up because I feel like they're a lot of people taken aback by the amount of coverage it gets. But I mean, it's I mean, it's not this is not just for naughty parade. This is for sexual freedom. So it's everyone that believes in sexual freedom. And it's beautiful. So beautiful. I met Jungle Jay, which is an amazing soul that I met there. Unfortunately, I didn't even know who he was at the time. But now I do. and he is the sweetest soul and we got to talk and connect and kind of talk about our purpose and he's so full of passion and he was on Naked and Afraid like he has a really good story and it was good to connect with him and just met people that are just fighting to be themselves period like it has nothing to do with sexuality or you know relations to dynamics or style anything it was just people that just wanted to be who they are yeah honestly and it was just a just love so much love and happiness. Everyone was happy. People watching. People on the street. Everyone was so thrilled and happy. And I've seen so many viral TikToks about it. And it's caught a lot of attention this year because social media is just so big. And you throw up all these videos. There's so many videos of it. People just watching on the, you know, standing by. I can't even imagine seeing all these swingers just walking down Bourbon Street just not knowing. But it's awesome. Everyone, it's all out of love. And everyone, it's beautiful. Highly recommend the parade. Do not miss it. That's like my top every year. It makes me cry every single time. Lindsay kept crying. I was like, I told you. I told you. It'll get you. I'm telling you. Naughty is beautiful and amazing. And then our theme that night was running of the bulls, which is the one that threw me for the loop the most. I had three outfit options because I had no clue what to do at all. So I had red dress with white sashes, white dresses with red sash, which I ended up doing that. But yeah, that one. I was confused by. We ended up all just wearing white dresses with red slashes. Which is, I feel like, it's the Running of the Bulls vibe. I just had never done that. White. So it threw me for a loop. White and red. Guys in all white. Yeah. It was cute. It was good. Once I saw it and everyone, it all came together. Some of these themes, sometimes I'm like, I don't really understand what you're going with here. But no, it was really like reds and romantic. And I saw it after the fact. And then learned that. the reason they do that is because the running of the bulls, it's like an annual running where you run and it's through there. So it's like on theme with the city and the running of the bulls and stuff like that. So it's like, oh, it makes sense. The next day they could see all the runners in red and white. Bandanas, yeah. So I was like, that makes sense. I get it now. And then that night we did our pictures. Every night we were very good content creators this time. We would take the ring line out and spend five minutes, take some quick pictures, And then we'd take our stuff Yeah. Well, Rob thought ahead. He brought the ring light that hooks onto the phone. It was a lifesaver. It saved so many people's pictures. There's so many pictures on social media you're seeing from people. It was because he had that light. He saved a lot of pictures. But, yeah, we ended up going to the, we'd go to the second floor, up to the second floor, and we'd go out to the balconies, get our pictures, and then we'd go and put our phones away. And then we'd go and have, you know, do swingers shit. So, yeah, that night, they ended up going to bed that night. There was a couple nights where they ended up going to bed early. And that was one night. And so I was by myself. And I'm still navigating and learning how to be by myself in these spaces. I'm not, I'm not really into, I'm not really like, hot wifing is not a thing that we really chose for me to do. It was just kind of makes the most sense. And obviously we find it hot, like anything sexual period in general, but it's not really something that turns me on or a kink. I honestly, most of the time, I'm just kind of like wish my husband was here. So it's been something I've been learning and navigating. I'm getting better and I'm getting more comfortable and easier. But there are nights where I am just like tired or, you know, not on all the time. And it was just kind of like sad. I kept hearing like our song would come on and I'd be like, well. And so I was like, I want to go get a snack because they give you little snacks at their events. They have like meats and cheeses and little hot finger foods and stuff. And I ended up sitting down at a table in the back and just kind of watching. I love looking and watching from the back and just crying a little inside because I'm so happy. I love watching everyone and have so much fun. And another couple ended up sitting with me and I introduced myself and we ended up having a good hour-long conversation. They had this master-slave dynamic and BDSM and then they did a podcast and it ended up being a really good connection. A lot of that happened that week. But I ended up talking to them for a while and dancing for a little bit and wandering. But that night I ended up Hitting the hay early. Ended up going to bed. Hitting the hay. You know, by then it was starting to catch up to me. It had been three days, you know. I was just tired. Ended up hitting the hay early and went to bed that night. And then on Saturday, that was the last day. And again, exhausted from the whole week. It's a long few days. So Saturday, we ended up hanging at the vendor table and getting food. That was our every single day. That's pretty much what we did. We'd go find food after the vendor. hours and then classes. And we ended up going, they wanted to go down to, there's like a street, it's a gay street. It's got all of the stores and all the cutesy everything. And it's just pretty amazing little area there. And she wanted to really go into some shops and support them and look around and everything. A lot farther than we anticipated. And we really don't know where we're going. And we ended up getting food and getting lost. And then it started storming. She wanted to go over to see the river and the boats, you know, and everything and downboard I mean lightning thunder just one of those days like all day and you know it's one of those where like you just are soaked and you have to just accept it you just try to dodge it underneath all the little like yeah the overhang yeah and then eventually you're just going through like two feet of water because if you've ever been down in New Orleans when it's raining for two minutes it's flooded so there's just water coming everywhere and you just have to accept it again you just have to accept So you're going to be wet and gross and nasty and you just go back to your hotel and you take a shower. It's all you can do. You shower a lot and you're just gross a lot. Even like the day parties and everyone. There's just so many people. It's always 100 degrees and humid as heck. But we went shopping. We saw some cars get flooded and some roads be shut down. We ended up about a 15 minute walk from our hotel and not sure how but there was a guy. He had a naughty lanyard. And he said, hey, do you need a ride? I'm safe. I'm one of us. And at the moment, me and Lindsay were both like, well, we're probably going to die right now because this is just some guy. He could have totally stole that lanyard from anyone and just looking for people with lanyards on. And we were like, but at that point, it was pouring. Our feet hurt. We had walked for hours and we were just willing to take that rest. So we got in the car. Luckily, he was really awesome. And he knew Bob and he knew like he was a part of Naughty. ended up being a really good guy and drove us the whole way back to the hotel because he happened to be going on his way at the right time it was perfect timing it was wrong he he just gets really lucky he's a very lucky guy so it just was his luck but we ended up shopping we tried to make it to the swamp to the day party missed that we tried to get to another one it was just by the time we got done with all of that it was time to go get showers and get ready and everyone was done so yeah that night was the mardi gras which they normally have a mardi call night every single year it's the last day you do and this was a ball and it was a masquerade and so good i mean the best costumes of the week were mardi gras that's the night that everyone counts on and plans for and prepares for all year because you know there's gonna be a mardi gras theme yeah so people are full feathers full all-out prom of swinger land this is the night and plus you got the mass it's just the whole vibe it's it was it was a amazing great night such a good night And I ended up hanging out with Rob. We went to the speakeasy after the ball. We danced. And we ended up going up to the speakeasy again. And I was, we were out until like 3 a.m. somehow. Dancing. I don't know. We danced a lot. We met a lot of people. It's just, time moves different at these events. Like, next, you turn around and it's 2.30, 3 o'clock in the morning. And it was just like 10. Like, I don't know how that happens. But when you, you know, you're doing spinger shit. And then you're meeting people. And then trying to make connections. And walking a lot. Just walking a lot. At least for us, getting the point A to point B takes at least an hour. Oh, yeah. That's what I mean. Just walking. Just because you're stopping every five minutes and you're seeing people that you know. Or people stop you. Or people stop you. And you start talking. And everyone says hi to each other. Each conversation is 10, 15, 20 minutes. Yeah. And then, you know, that might lead to other places that you go. and you're stuck for another hour. It's not stuck. It's just, you get distracted and you get side missions. And before you know it, you're with all new people. I mean, we were there with friends last time and they, that's where they re like, where have you guys barely got to see them? Like we've been looking for you for hours. Like, Oh, we just, we couldn't get here. It's been an hour. Yeah. We're just, just walking through the hallway exploring. Yeah. We always get caught up and I love it. I know. I love that's how we meet so many people all the time because everyone is so friendly if you've never been to a takeover event like everyone you pass is just smiling hello hey how are you and so kind so sweet and yeah everyone that I met this week well when this is coming out it's been a few weeks now but everyone I met in Adi thank you for hanging out and saying hi to me I know I was a new face of the crew I know a lot of people have been there for a very very long time but I appreciate your kindness and your love and everyone I spoke to and connected with and talked about the podcast thank you so much for coming to hang out with me I was alone and kind of awkward and intimidated and didn't know what to do but I appreciate everyone was so kind everyone was so kind every person that was every human that was there in general just everyone was so welcoming and amazing and I cannot wait till next year I'm counting down the minutes but you guys need to come we will be there 2026 both of us so it's a rare amazing to be with us both, but we are promising we'll both be there next year, and we have all the information below. And can you really think of anything? Is there any other naughty tips or tricks or anything that you can think of? No, you pretty nailed it. Eat, drink, and sleep. Rest, a lot of dancing, and wear comfortable shoes. Yeah. Doesn't matter what they look like. I promise you. I wear flip-flops pretty much the entire time, or sneakers, like depending on where we were going. It was flip-flops or sneakers. That was my only... I had one or two nights where I did the heels for a couple pictures and put my flip-flops on. Be comfortable. The streets are cobblestones and all sorts of... Yeah, you're going to... You're going to hurt yourself. It's dangerous. There's a lot of dancing foam, slippery. Everything's wet. Be comfortable. Wear sneakers. Wear something good. Even the clothes. There's themes. There's like pineapples and 80s and stuff. There's all day party themes now. That's something new that they do now. Less clothes the better. Yeah. It's not that serious. It's really not that serious. Just be comfortable and take your time and highly recommend everyone checking it out at least once. And if you have any questions ever, just let us know. That really sums up Nani. Yeah. Good job. Cannot wait. I'm excited. Cannot wait. Let's hurry up next year. Yeah. But as always, it's not that serious. Don't make it weird. Bye. I used to feel so guilty handing over the tablet just to get things done. We all do. But honestly, I switched to Lingo Kids. The guilt is gone and the kids are obsessed. Really? Do they actually like it? Oh, they love it. It's all games, music, lessons, and stories. They think they're just playing, but I know they're safe from weird ads and junk. Mom, look! I'm flying! It's a space! Peace! See? They're happy, I'm happy. Maple Kids! Everything kids love!
