Wall/feed feature going away

Quite refreshing to see that.

I'll admit that I still have some morbid curiosity about the "exciting new features" that The Wall was going to be used for. At least a little...

I look at the Wall, respond to some of the outrageous posts and can neither confirm nor deny that I have reported a few for various reasons.

There are better features on the site for what most people on the Wall post about- specifically Hot Date and various Forum threads would answer their questions.

I'd say more but the Powers That Be would delete this post.

OK, I'll add that aside from making a couple of friends there who I would have never known about if it weren't for their posts on the Wall, it's probably in the best interest of the site to get rid of it.

RIP or burn in Hell Wall. Personally I'm OK with either one.

Looks like this was just one of those ideas that didn't pan out. I wasn't aware of anyone asking for this, so not really surprised. Would be nicer if they had put the effort spent on this into making the new chat notifications happen in real time rather than the way it is now. Not sure how you justify new features when the commonly used ones you have now are, at a minimum, sub-optimal.
