Upload pics - all are sideways

<p>You should not have to do any of that anymore. The upload page was updated to correctly check the orientation settings of the image file.</p>

You can throw an extra resizing in at the end prior to saving, for good measure.
The idea is to set the orientation then save the image.
The iPhone tries to keep all the information, like original orientation (portrait or landscape) as well as image size.

To fix a sideways picture on the iPhone:

1. open the offending image in Photos
2. Select “Edit”
3. Select the resize/rotate button (on bottom next to revert)
4. Rotate the image, but not to the desired orientation
5. Make any change to the image size
6. Rotate the image to desired orientation
7. Save the image.

This works on an iPhone SE running iOS 16.4.1

I got it figured out from a earlier post regarding the same. Move the pics to a Windows PC. Open them with MS-Paint. Do a 'Save As' with a different JPG name then upload to SLS. It works.

Apparently it's an Iphone thing. The SLS IT gerbils don't like Apple, so Iphone pics get loaded sideways. Always.

Send them to sls_WayneC who is one of the admins, he'll get them sorted out for you.

Trying to upload a new set of pics. They are all showing up sideways. How can I get them to be correct?
