The full screen button does get it close to what it was. The powers that be have to realize that just because they use commodore 64’s and android blackberrys, most folks in 2023 have iPhones. And most people access the internet, on the leisure time, on their iPhones. 2010 programs are not conducive to 2023 technology. That is why most “fixes” do the opposite.
Stuck in pictures
Have to agree the old way was more user-friendly. On a phone instead of the back button being at the bottom it's at the top and after being able to just push where you are used to and go back it's very annoying especially when it was pretty much the same spot to go back out of pretty much everything else

You can tap the full screen icon and the picture will be larger. That makes it almost the size of the whole screen on my phone.

Pics are half the size as they were previously. There was never ever 3 pics on the screen, just one, which made it much easier to see. Some of the members obviously don’t like it, please change it back.

What exactly is it that you don't like or are having a problem with? Several of you are complaining, but you haven't told us what you take issue with.

No sense complaing. When changes are made to site, no matter how bad or how inconvenient or tedious it makes things, you are wrong to complain. You get the fairly pat reply that someone requested it, even when it makes absolutely no sense. The red banner is flying again so watch out for unannounced and worthless changes.
“Once again, this feature was updated at the request of some of our members who feel safer with the right-click being blocked.”
How many, 2? Most people do not use a desk top computer to view this site. Galleries are the one thing that have never been an issue. Thanks for screwing them up, I mean fixing them.

The amount of thumbnails shown are based on the size of your screen. On my desktop monitor and iPad, I see 7 thumbnails at the bottom. On my phone, I see 2 thumbnails at the bottom when I hold it in portrait mode. When I rotate it to landscape mode, I see 5 thumbnails.

For all of those devices, you can scroll left and right through the thumbnails, either using the left and right arrows or sliding left and right with your finger on touchscreen devices.

Yeah it was doing it to us too since the weekend update. Everytime we were in a gallery and wanted to go back a page, the back arrow would take us all tge way back to the main page, not the previous page.
But looks like it is all fixed now for us, only difference being that when looking at a gallery, underneath the larger pic, were 7 thumbnails ... now theres 2... I guess not really a big deal

Yes, that is what you get and that is what you always got when using a larger screen. That is the main gallery view on the site. I don't see a problem with that view.

Sadly Wayne it does not! You get a larger photo at the top and thumbnail smaller pics under. Why does SLS continually try to fix things that are not broke? Picturing viewing is not what it was and always has neen on the site!

At around 2 PM yesterday, we updated that. The mobile page now should take you directly to the gallery with the icons at the top, just like the desktop version of the site.

The viewing changed to thumbnails last week. This was reported to you last week by other members. Its amazing how things change on this site in the blink of an eye!

What problem are you having with viewing someone's pictures?

Well SLS does an update but doesnt fix the problem with viewing someones pics. Just waiting for the latest screwup from the crack development team! The fix for the pic viewing will probably be a work around or you contact Wayne and have him look at the pics for you!
Now it is another different view 3 pics 1 big and 2 smaller. Not the way it was for sure

It was around 2 PM that we updated the site, so it would have still been an issue this morning.

I thought it happened once this morning, but now that only 2 thumbnails show up instead of however many used to show, it has not happened again.

This issue should be fixed now on mobile devices. Both mobile devices and desktops should take you to the gallery page that has all the icons at the top. I have checked it on Android and iPhone and it looks good. For those of you having the problem, please let us know if you still have any issues.

Yes it was a large image there was buttons at the top

How did it open in the old version? Was it going directly to the page that has the large image with the icons at the top (Back arrow and Left and Right scroll arrows)?

Happening to me to on iPhone in web browser. Very frustrating. Not sure why all of a sudden pictures are opening in collage mode by default but I wish it would go back.

I do not normally use an Android phone. I have one for testing, but I don't know how it looked in the old version to compare it. On the new version on Android. It shows me a screen with a lis of thumbnail images. There are no arrows on that page. You can tape on one of the pictures to see the larger version of that picture and then you will see the arrows and the back button to go back to the main profile view.

On the thumbnail page, you can tap and drag from the top of your page (you have to start dragging down from above the actual phone screen) and then it will light up the Android "Back" button so you can go back a page. That is how that works on Android devices for all web pages.

Wayne,
I've had this happen too. It has only happened since the update, and only when using phone web browser. What has happened is the thumbnails of all the gallery pics will show up, but there is no arrows in the upper right or left side of the screen to scroll thru or back out, so when trying to use the back button on the browser, it jumps back and forth from that page and the previous page where you would click "view gallery".
You can get of the loop by not using the back button on your browser, and clicking on something else on the view gallery page.

Can someone send me a screenshot of what you are seeing to: webmaster@swinglifestyle.com. Several of you are reporting this, but I don't undestand what you are trying to describe. I have checked it on my Windows PC and my iPhone and the galleries look fine to me.

On Monday, we updated the gallery software that we use to the latest version of that software.
