New Swing logo animation

SWING*COM? Is this the new resurrected SLS? If so will existing SLS members be transferred over?

We don't eed a jumping guy on the front page. However it would be good to have someone look at fixing the MESSAGES section.

The rumor mill at events (and all actions/evidence lean this way) is that a rebranding is not so quietly happening. Attendees at some events expressed concern that SLS will go offline in favor of the new swing dot com site and their old lifetime (now called unlimited) memberships will be voided out and they’ll have to subscribe into the new site. This is generally what happens when management is very quiet on things as the ship appears to be sinking. Hopefully, everyone can get some reassurance of what’s actually happening moving forward. We like SLS and just want to see the site issues fixed and consistency in the administration of it.

I mentioned on another thread that it looks like there is a rebranding going on.

Alex, good catch. It looks like the green guy realizes he is on a sinking ship (Swing Life Style) so he bails out quickly to another boat (Swing) while the other three go down with the ship!

What does that tell us? :)

One jump and then a static image would be fine. I don't need to see him jump continually.

Gumby is alive and well. And certainly knows how to spring into action to celebrate a touchdown with his mates.

I tried blocking it with ad block browser add-ons but it blocks the entire upper bar... :(

I agree that it is pretty distracting, and I'd rather see the basic functionality fixed.

Yeah message notifications have been on the fritz for weeks, but we now have an animated logo....priceless

I can't agree more. It's so distracting.

Very distracting. Every 5 seconds the little green guy jumps to the new logo. No matter how long I'm logged in, every 5 seconds my eyes go from what I want to look at or read to this guy jumping around. This just simply makes my experience here disruptive and unpleasant.
