They lock threads they don't want discussed anymore
They delete posts/threads where they are hiding things.
they also feel as if they are doing us a 'favor' by taking profiles offline if they even hint at "taking a break".
So when sls determines that an answer has been given, they get to decide that no one is allowed to keep talking? And they also determine that information being discussed is false and can delete or block it? Wow, how paternalistic of them

Look, nobody is getting free shit from SLS. Has not happened before and won't happen now. I agree with the concept of either staying and forgetting it or heaving for another site.
No doubt something much graver than a virus happened to the site but nobody is going to tell you the truth, so let's move on folks. Those super concerned with privacy should not be on a swinger site anyway because it will never be 100% secure.

A lot of people have plenty of fair and reasonable criticisms of the site in those threads that get ignored. You can't claim a question was answered while completely ignoring all the justifiable concerns that also provide greater context from people wondering when problems will be fixed, what's being done at the moment to make the site better, etc. Otherwise blocking discussions is an act of covering up problems to keep up appearances that everything is just fine - and SLS is a perfect place. Not true at all.

Can anyone explain the rationale behind locking topics? Is it really just because sls doesn’t like the conversations so they just decide to end it? Are there any guidelines that have supposedly been violated? Or they just do it whenever they feel like it?
