It's easier to communicate real time once you've established a connection. The email feature on SLS is difficult to use and time consuming as takes too long to have a connection sending emails back and forth
Everybody is complaining about Kik when they should be complaining about the fact that you cannot post videos on here and you get no notifications unless you come to this site. That is why people give their Kik names

with the new rules I'd almost think the site wants to encourage off site communications, as it takes them out of the loop. When I review new profiles I always click for it to notify the staff if there is an email/phone/kik/etc... listed, but even so I don't think they always catch it. plus I think the approval process must require a minimum number of votes per profile, as many times I see the exact same profile pop up for several hours before it finally clears out. almost like it is waiting on few more votes. To test this I have in the past "approved" a person several times in a row, and after 5-6 times they go thru each and every time I've tried it.
Lots of brand new accounts include kik, skype and other contact information... as well as an amazing number of "violations," such all four sections saying "we'll fill this in later," or being filled in with "uihknjasrthkdmekkuiajkkkld."
In spite of the fact that they are all supposed to be reviewed by lifetime members, it seems the reviewers are blind chimps just clicking the "approve button.
