Most people are using Facebook groups... because they suck a little less than other websites..
Groups
Makes sense. Do they ever go through and clean up the inactive groups after they’ve been dead for a couple of years?
I understand the concept of things slowing down at certain times of the year. What I was originally referring to was that there are a lot of groups that appear to have died long before Covid. I guess I should have been more specific. But thank you for the replies. I was just curious.
Travelers.. has the parties stopped at Caliente?.. Maybe they can come to join the party down south..!
All the emails we get weekly seems like party time at Caliente.
In addition to Covid, keep in mind that since your October join date, we have had deer season, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and now cold winter weather in much of the US throughout January and February. There are a lot of competing priorities for many people, plus the short daylight hours tend to make people a bit less "enthusiastic" in general. Be patient. Spring is coming and hopefully Covid is going!
lol...No, we did read a newspaper back in July, I think.
But seriously, we would have thought that the groups would be a way for people to still connect with people even if the pandemic makes it difficult to physically meet in person. We were just wondering why it looked like a ghost town in that part of the site.
We're new. Forgive us for being unfamiliar with what's going on.
Not much going on for "most" last one year.. group play in MOST areas shut down
For us we will continue to play with our select few mainly in Fl / Ga.
Oh wait.. you have been on since Oct 2020.. did you miss what was going on in the world?
Pass the Popcorn..
Has everyone just stopped using the “Groups” feature on the site? It seems like all the groups have been inactive for a really long time.
