Its on the back burner ... but what they dont tell you is that the stove was disconnected from the gas line.
Gallery access for ourselves
@ Wayne #2:
There really should be no need at all to grant yourself access to your own pix, but that is a side note to not being able to do so directly with a couple of clicks when viewing your own profile.
What just caught my eye was your comment "ran into an issue, so it is on the back-burner for now". So it is not a simple fix for them and they just give up and move onto something else that might be easier? WTF????
@Wayne:
FWIW, I logged in from Chrome rather than Firefox (where this site is bookmarked on my laptop) and it did allow me to give ourselves access via the "tools" process. Obviously still can't do it as it should be, directly from profile, but the Firefox/Chrome thing may tell your IT folks something?

They started working on this and ran into an issue, so it is on the back-burner for now.

We justnclick on our profile the click galleries then scroll to bottom and click manage galleries. They open right up. Kenny
@Wayne:
It's been over a month and we still cannot see our own private galleries or grant access. Any traction with your developers?
Also on that note the other way to view your pictures does not allow to make them bigger zoom etc…some times we like to check out our own picture again ;)
Separate problem…..both of my personal galleries say on one page like 22 pictures (but doesn’t show them) and the other one as well both personal galleries none of my pictures seem to be there that have been there for years.
@Wayne:
Thank you sincerely!!!

Ok, I spoke with the other staff and we agree that you should be able to use the 'Personal' icon on your own profile to give yourself access to your custom galleries. I have created a ticket for our developers to make the update.

@Wayne
The only and I mean ONLY valid reason for a person to have to give themselves access to their own photos is for constancy on the site, either or both for user-friendly commonality and/or for commonality in the software. Both of those would be accomplished by a user looking at their own profile and granting access to themselves in the same way one gives it to other users.
The entire "go to tools, click manage galleries, yada, yada, yada" is utter fooking bullshit and there is no valid excuse to have it set up that way. Period.
I realize a part of your job function is to "protect" the owners and to be the front man for this sort of complaint. I truly feel sorry for you in having to defend this one however bro.
Please save us from our own pictures...lol

What device were you using? Were you on a tablet or phone? I checked this and it does give you access and you did give yourself access. But, on my iPad, the "Access List & Expiration" box is not showing the names on the list unless you tap on it to bring up the drop-down list of profiles added. I'll create a ticket on that bug for the developers.

As far as automatically having access to your galleries, I guess that is a matter of opinion. I don't see any real need for that, as you can go to "Tools" and "Manage Pictures" to see all your pictures and on the "Manage Galleries" page, you can see all your custom galleries.

LOL now that's funny.. we have asked for any and all profile photos be opened to account holder of profile without grating access for years.
Travelers.. NO SOUP FOR YOU... hope all is well ! Take care
Our access to own own galleries has expired (which is simply ridiculous to begin with) and I've tried repeatedly to grant ourselves access in the "mange galleries" under tools.
Chose our name, click 1-year, click add = NOPE
Chose our name, click 1-year, click add, click finish = NOPE
Another variation or two of above I think = NOPE
Am I missing a step somehow or is this simply not working at the moment?
