No the logic does not compute for his response to me either. Wayne literally advocated for putting public pictures on a sex site of someone not affiliated with a profile.

" As far as adding the upload date to pictures, my concern is that might hurt the chances of members with old pictures on their profile. Before suggesting a new feature to the business, I have to try to think of the good consequences and the bad consequences of adding that feature."

The logic of that statement does not compute.

We have been on the site under various names since 2003.

There are still pics from the day we joined on some active profiles.

Your concerned about them getting a chance versus all the rest of us getting jerked around?

Wayne, I get you disagree on the ethics, and I think you would find yourself without much company on this issue with those in play in the ethical arena.

I mean, you can see when somebody was last online. Not asking to change any of the pictures or require faces or anything like that. Just a simple upload date. If it’s gonna hurt somebody’s chances then they should just upload a new picture. I’m not understanding how this could hurt, anyone. Whether the other person is in the lifestyle or not really has nothing to do with throwing a date on it. I mean, I wouldn’t post anybody’s picture that isn’t in the lifestyle that didn’t give permission. That’s just me if I saw was an old picture and was talking to somebody then I could ask them for a recent picture, if they decided to send it great if not well it is what it is

The solution SLS gives is if that is the case the other person in the photo can file a complaint. But if they aren&rsquo;t in the lifestyle, how would they know?! Since it is a public picture it could have consequences in the persons personal and professional life without ever knowing. Again, a simple fix, they just won&rsquo;t do."</span></p>

There are a lot of East things they can do, they just don’t. And it’s frustrating. What you are recommending is easy and fair. I also recommended clarifying picture guidance. Take your profile picture for instance. That is clearly a picture of a couple. But if that pic came up for approval for a singles profile, they won’t include that as an example of a profile mismatch. Which is an ethical problem for me as it can imply the other person in the picture is in the lifestyle. I/We have been a paid member of the site for probably over 10 years. It’s amazing to me that people will have the same picture up from years and years and years ago. Obviously we wouldn’t know when the picture was actually taken, but if we knew when it was uploaded, we would know that it’s at least that old.
